This module is not suitable for WiFi router. It has power cut a few seconds.
😮can it be on the AC supply full-time or it will get hot..
Yep fire incoming
But this can be done with a simple ralay.
I don't see a diode to protect from reverse voltage spike (Back EMF) caused by relay's coil. Can you explain?. Does the capacitors do the job?.
Okay. So I see a problem. The product description says the same voltage is required for the power supply, the battery, and the load for this work. But a 12v battery requires a higher voltage for it to charge - 13.5 to 15 volts. Then the battery supplies 12volts to for example a 12volt Lighting circuit - the Load. How can this work then if the voltage must be the same for the supply, the battery & the load? The battery won't charge and will eventually go flat if this is the case.
This module doesn't charge the battery.
Hi, does this charge the battery while it's on main 12v? That would be a perfect build.
If not can you suggest a method of keeping the battery charged for continued use. Thanks
Only backup battery switching module not for charging battery ... You can connect charger module to the battery for charging
this module can charge the battety ???
I want to design the same project, but using MOSFET to reduce the replacement time between the two sources
MOSFET pe power switch karneme kitna time lagta hai ?
Wifi ke liye chahiye tha ...replay please
would this work if IN1 was a 12v battery and IN2 was also a 12v battery? would it switch once IN1 battery dropped below 12v?
I think it is possible but may be not swich once dropped bellow 12v exactly for example may be switch once dropped bellow 10 v may be , but it should be noted that the voltage 12V which is connected to the IN2 will be transferred to the OUT, and when the voltage 12V is connected to the IN1, the voltage of IN2 will disconnect, and the voltage of IN1 will be transferred to the OUT ... Your project must be built on that
Is it possible battery on IN1 and adapter on IN2? when the battery is empty that he switches to adapter. something like this would be useful in combination with my solar panel
Yes it is possible, but it should be noted that the voltage 12V which is connected to the IN2 will be transferred to the OUT, and when the voltage 12V is connected to the IN1, the voltage of IN2 will disconnect, and the voltage of IN1 will be transferred to the OUT ... @@LEQSBeaprofessional ok thanks for the info

Does this one has auto cut off voltage feature? If the battery is full it will cut off so the battery will not be overcharge
Only backup battery switching module
What is its switching time
What is the switching delay time
It is not mentioned in the manual but I think that a small fraction of a second due to the capacitors in this module.
Is this 100% uninteruptable? I want to power a mini pc, but also havbe the ability to switch to batteries if i want to "move to an other room "for example without turning off the system
For normal loads such as lighting, heating or cooling, you will not notice any lag, but the lag for sensitive devices such as PC, routers and cameras may cause to reboot the device (I have not tried it on a PC, but I think that if there is a lag it will be a small fraction of a second) due to the capacitors in this module.
I have seen this unit advertised with a delay time of 1 second or more - perhaps depending on how truthful the seller is. Certainly not 100% uninteruptable
i have a similar module xy-850, it also has a delay of a fraction of a second. i put 3 1000uf capacitor on the output but the switching delay still persist. can we do something about it? my router only draws 0.3amps at 12v.
In fact, I did not try to change the capacitors, I just made a review for it
I think the delay is from the relay operation. Can we replace with the fast operation relay.
Maybe relay also may be capacitors
Are get solution mean please write on her
@@dharmeshxx use solid state relay
Please test, when the adapter that is disconnected is AC voltage not DC voltage, is the module delay in switching due to the elco factor of the adapter/PSU.
Thanks.
According to the specifications for this module, the control voltage is DC 12V not AC
@@LEQSBeaprofessional I mean it was disconnected from the AC connection, is there a delay in switching?

is it ok to put both batteries (12v) in the input side? switching from one battery to another? thank you for your response.
Yes. It's ok.
how about output when battery is on? is it 12volts?
Yes, 12 Volts
How the battery will charge ??
You need to add a battery charger module
I see a problem with this item the heater is running from a power supply and you may not get a power cut for months in the meantime the battery is out of charge.?
Hi, Can this handle more than 150w if I change the relay on it with the high current one? The load will be around 30A
Can it charge the battery while the dc load is up?
Only backup battery switching module not for charging battery
Can this use operate wifi 12v Wifi router with uninterupted power supply?
Need to try. Those caps looking enogh for half second.

@@LEQSBeaprofessional I think if transistor or SCR is used instead of relay, much faster and no lag.
Nop, i tried
can I put inverter in load side
@ rodel's TV Yes, you can but the load must not draw a current greater than 12 amperes ... also, the DC power adapter & battery capacity must be sufficient to operate it.

Is there version that works with a 6 Volt power supply?
Make 12 volt ups
I do not understand what you mean, Please clarify
What gauge have you used to connect the battery to the switcher?
Can this circuit charge the battery? Thanks
Only backup battery switching module not for charging battery
@@LEQSBeaprofessional Perfect build would for it to route the power voltage through the battery to keep it charged on a trickle then when the power supply is not present for the load to switch to the battery power?
What happen battery low.this auto charge?
Kya problem Hai power off ho kr on Hoti Hai 😢Mary pas b yea hai
You can easly make this with relay and diode at 20 ruppees😂😂
To prevent delay use 100ohm resuster in parralel to power supplynof relay 😊
Where to add this resistor?

It works with Li ion battery?
Could you use on diesel heater
@Daemon Maher I don't have the technical data for this diesel heater, but its power must not exceed 12V, 12A, 150W ... also, the DC power adapter & battery capacity must be sufficient to operate it.
Thanks yes got in touch with someone who used one on diesel heater so thanks for your video helped me
Welcome
To slow for diesel heater drops it out.
Muito bom.
Very good.

Battery low pr chang hoga
Can this module charge the battery as well?
No
This module is working on 9 VOLT POWER ADAPTOR & 9 volt battery ,

Can it be used with 18650 battery? Any 5v 3a version?
Can it change the battery also please let me know 🙂
Please explain more
@@LEQSBeaprofessional i want to know by this module can i change my battery also
@@ideologymuslimcommunity4647 If you mean changing the battery with another source of DC voltage, then I think you can do that, but I personally did not do that.
@@LEQSBeaprofessional would you please send me your email address please
Is it zero lag
@Arun I think so... That is appear on the bulb, For normal loads such as lighting, heating or cooling, you will not notice any lag, but the lag for sensitive devices such as routers and cameras may cause to reboot the device (I have not tried it on a router, but I think that if there is a lag it will be a small fraction of a second)
What if you just skip this module and use the battery connected to the power supply. Current will be drown from the power supply, the battery will be fully loaded. When there is the outage battery will be used. Whta is the advantage of this module? Voltage regulator can be used to produce stable 12V. My router works fine for input voltage 9-24 so it has the regulator build-in.
i'll give you an example in my case i have my wifi modem all time connected to my lithium batteries mini ups, but i want my cc cameras & nvr to connect on the same ups when there are short power outages, so i'll keep my nvr and cameras on power source and switch to my minis ups ONLY when there's a power outage , my mini ups has a total of 24w continous power usage in order to be able to charge the battery as well otherwise will just complete drain because it cannot charge the batteries in time , i allready ordered this piece of device today .
@@Alinrzv I checked how it works and chosen the powerbank connected to power source. I read in comments on aliexpress these cheap ups switch so slow the device can restart. Powerbank works fine but I do not want large lithium battery at home. Will try to setup agm battery connected to continuous charger.
@@stanst2755 as long as there is a relay that needs to power first before switching there will be a delay, if its an electronic relay (think of something like SMD/SMT - SOLID STATE RELAY) that is all time powered that can switch quickly, that black box thing in this power switch pcb is using coil and based on electromagnetism, thats where the delay comes from (is like a phisical button that switches when the coil is powered), you can actually order some smd/t relay and change it :)
Check this video explaining relays , is fun ua-cam.com/video/n594CkrP6xE/v-deo.html
