    Okay. So I see a problem. The product description says the the the same voltage is required for the power supply, the battery and the load for this work. But a 6v battery requires a higher voltage for it to charge - 7.5 to 8 volts. Then the battery supplies 6volts to for example a 6volt Lighting circuit - the Load. How can this work then if the voltage must be the same for the supply, the battery & the load? The battery won't charge and will eventually go flat if this is the case. What are solutions so you don't have to keep changing the battery?

    Hey Robojax! I've been following you in your YT Channel quite recently.
    I just wanna know if there's a power switching module that has minimal delay in it? I'll be using this to power my router 😃
    Some other says that I could add in a capacitor to kill the delay? But I am not sure if that's a safe approach for this kind of load since the router is running for 24/7.
    Let me know your thoughts please. Thank you

    • @robojax
      @robojax  2 роки тому +2

      Hey, the cheapest way you o remove delay is to just add capacitors. That is the case where a mechanic switch such as relay is used. Depending on the load (router in your case) starry with for example 1000 microfarad and test it and add more in parallel to that capacitor until you get uninterrupted result.

Also can you please check if the placement of the capacitor in the image is correct? Here's the image/visuals: bit.ly/3M6u61h

    • @gizmoguyar
      @gizmoguyar 9 місяців тому +1

      Are you asking about the time between power loss, and the relay switching? One amp = 1 coulomb per second. And one Farad = 1 coulomb per volt. C = Q/V and Q = I*t. So one farad will drop 1 volt per second per amp drawn from it. C = I*t/V. If there's 0.2 seconds between power loss and the relay switching, and the load draws 1.5 amps, for a 2 volt drop you'd need 1.5 * 0.2 / 2 = 150 milliFarad. This is a massive capacitor. I think this module is really only valuable in situations where total momentary power loss is acceptable. Or for very low current draw devices. Maybe a 12V device running at 100 mA can accept a 1V drop, so 0.1*0.2/1 = 20 mF. Still a large capacitor, but more in the realm of possibility.

      if you module has CC feature, the battery is protected with you set Voltage constant. Now you have the diode, you should be good. to charge the battery fully, there is a voltage of about 0.6V or more drop across diode, keep that in mind and added that to the CV so the full voltage reaches the battery. you should be good specially you have also a fuse. stay safe.

    Is it possible to add some capacitor for eliminate 0.7 delay when switching? if possible, how to connect them?

    • @robojax
      @robojax  2 роки тому +2

      as I mentioned. this is mechanical device. The only way to eliminate the off time, is to have enough power for the load. Find the total equivalent resistance of the load R=V÷I, V=voltage, I=Current. if you found R=0.1Ω then The 𝜏=RC where is C is capacitance in Farad and 𝜏 is time in Seconds. , get C=𝜏÷R, and if you want to get 𝜏=0.7 for example, then C=𝜏÷R=0.7÷0.1=7F, and 7 Farad is equal to 7000μF. So would need 7000μF capacitor to be connected to the load to keep it the voltage to 63% of the original voltage. if load voltage is 10V, then it would keep it at 6.3V for 0.7 seconds. if you want to increase the time, then increase the capacitance. it would be HUGE capacitor the voltage rating of capacitor should be the voltage of load. Let's see if it works for you.

    سلام. عالی بود متشکر. سوالی داشتم. این رله10آمپر است . ماژولی را برای من معرفی کنید که تا رله 20آمپری باشد. متشکرم.

      وعلیکم السلام، چون ریلی ها معیاری هستند. وقتی از 10 آمپر بگذریم به 30 ویا بالاتر میروند اما بصورت ماجیول عرضه نشده اند. یک را دارد و آن اینکه بطور موازی به ریلی شما یک ریلی دیگر را لحیم کنید که بدریخت میشود اما وظیقه را انجام میدهد. سلامت باشید

    what is the difference between power supply and charger

    • @robojax
      @robojax  Рік тому +1

      Power supply just provides power. Charge checks the voltage and current of the battery and change them in order to charge the battery properly and protect it from getting damaged.

      so if I want to use this board as UPS for IP camera
      I have to use 12V battery + charger , and not just power supply.
      or maybe use battery with charge protector .

    • @robojax
      @robojax  2 роки тому

      why you even need to make it? this is so cheap that if you make it, it would cost you 10x more. You can use Arduino instead.

      @@robojaxcurrently in India we are not getting orders shipped from china as the Indian post disposes all the chinese shipment packages because of ban and in custom tax section writes that it was disposed because of public safety which is clearly vague and i dont wish to loose more money in this process. So if some kind man from Internet provides me schematics of this relay i could locally buy all parts and components like 12v relay for 1 dollar 7 pieces and make diy stuff for myself
