The mines of Peragus served to mine the extremely valuable and highly explosive Peragus fuel. The mines were initially on the planet Peragus II, around the former planet, after an accident that blasted the planet into numerous asteroids.

I like at how when the camera's outside the station in outer space you can hear the exhalation of the space suit. Kinda like a proto Darth Vader breath effect. Even after all these many years these two games are still incredible. They belong in a museum at this point.

my favorite location of the game. I like this emptiness feel, and you have to wonder around by seeking any alive humans and starship
This song gives me ptsd from my first playthrough of this game when I was a kid and struggling to figure out where to go. Pretty sure I was hearing this song in my sleep by the time I finally got out of there lol

Man i love this game so much i have over 1k hours thank you for making this your such a legend
IDK why so many hate Peragus and consider it so boring and slow. Peragus is so much faster to get through than Taris. Taris was so slow and seemed like it went on far too long for its own good. The numerous times you have to go back and forth to certain places, the Vulkers were annoying to deal with, the sewers, and how long it took just to finally get off planet. Peragus is pretty long, but at least it's not overstaying its welcome and more straightforward. You at least can go through the planet pretty fast and in general the atmosphere of the place felt so good and gave you the feeling this definitely wasn't the same as the first game.
I think the big thing people (not me) hate about peragus is that after the first run the mystery is gone, you know who did it and why. Even 20 years later I'm still uncovering new hints and details in peragus, but that's not the experience of the average player.
@@SIRslipperyasp91 I find Peragus a pretty entertaining planet. The thought of a mining facility just being caught inadvertently for some bounty and being wiped out systematically was creepy. I always also felt that somehow there was someone else still alive in the facility that was deep in hiding away from the droids. Too bad they died with the facility. And I pretty much had a feeling the HK droid was behind it from the start; especially after it revealed it could mimic voices and it working in maintenance near the droids only gave it more sight it was behind the deaths. Plus, it's an HK model droid. I doubt anyone really fell for it being a "protocol droid".

Ugh, so boring running around with a basic weapon, basic clothes at this point of the game. The first thing you need to do is get the Force speed boost, which enables you to run faster. It literally saves you hours of time.
