I've had cops called on me because I was in my trunk for too long. I was trying to setup some wiring and an amp for some subs that I had coming in and the cops came by and were really nice about it. My neighbor however, has now made death threats, told us we are not allowed to have cozy fires outside, and calls the cops anytime he see's children on the street playing.

And if the kids denied the cops from searching, they would simply say they "smell" drugs and order a K9 unit to search anyway. I have family who are officers and that's the training they receive. Just about everyone, I get the cops called on my every day because someone takes issue with me for living my life. I get arrested for grocery shopping, I was banned from Meijer for reading a book in my car while in their parking lot. My existence is a crime.

Circa back in 01, I got stopped right after I walked my friend's 5.0 Camaro. With a 2.5 liter turbo Dodge caravan. It was breathed on a bit, with a getrag A555 swap. I was expecting a boat load of tickets. Instead, they were curious as to how I "made that bitch run like that". Which led to a tour of it, etc. They were simply amazed at that thing

First of all they were already pretty much as friendly as their going to get. Any of those cops pull him in the future they'll let it slide. Second it's wayy to much liability for both of them, the cop would a lot of trouble if they were found to be doing that on shift, plus they'd be speeding (because that's the whole point) and what if they got pulled over? Not everywhere in cali. You don't have to get your car checked until 5 or 6 years from date of purchase. Where I live you don't have to smog your car ever except on change of ownership. That means I'm good to do a full header back exhaust. I'll be keeping the oem piping with cats in it though, and the OFT allows me to put the car back to stock tune whenever I want

I seen them at 7 eleven so pulled in and told them I seen then race. They both laughed. Asked who won and the cop said the Impala kills the vic. Thought it was funny they raced, and also they didn't lie and say no when I told them I seen it. Both were young and fresh out of the academy. Btw they were Maryland state troopers. Not all cops are asses!

I once got pulled over by cops while driving my v6 mustang. I got asked if it's a v6 and I was "uhh yeah it is" and the cop goes, "man, I'd never dare to sit in a v6 mustang that shit is wack". I explained to him that's it's my first car ever and I chose to get a v6 just to get used to how fast these kind of cars go and I'm only 19,eventually I'll get a v8. And btw, these cops were the coolest ever man!

Savage these cops may of been nice cops all the time or just playing the part of a “nice cop” he asked them to see the trunk, rev the engine etc. they reported to a call that somebody said that saw a suspicious bag thrown in the trash. They wanted to see if they smelled drugs in the car or if they were hiding drugs. If you had a nice car and a rude cop asked you to rev and open the trunk for him and you didn’t have to would you? Most likely not. But if a cop was showing you full on respect and taking interest into your car you would show it off if he asked to rev, etc. I honestly don’t know if these cops were being nice on purpose to see inside the cars to get probable cause to search the cars (smell of weed) but I’m assuming they were. 4+ cops were taking the time to talk to talk and talk about their cars.
Like I said these cops may actually liked these cars but the real reason was to see if they smelled drugs.

Fernando Grullon seriously 90% of that sound is because of the mid pipe. its a catless H or X and without cats all the sound is free flowing and cranks the volume way up. the mufflers are for mostly the tone but arent the main contributer to how loud this car is.
