How to make Easy Homemade Galette des Rois :: French King Cake (Subtitle on)

Ingredients ( about 24 cm (10 inch) galette)
1 tsp = 5 ml, 1 Tbsp = 15 ml, 1 cup = 250 ml
2 ready-made puff pastry (Total about 500 g)
*I used homemade puff pastry dough.
[Almond cream filling]
100 g (1 cup minus 1 Tbsp) unsalted butter
100 g (1/2 cup) granulated sugar
2 large eggs(room temperature)
100 g (1 cup) almond flour
2 Tbsp fruit jam(optional) : I used peach jam.
féve : trinket to put in cream (optional)
*I substituted whole almonds.
[egg wash ]
1 egg yolk + 1 tsp milk
[sugar syrup ]
30 g (2 +1/2 Tbsp) granulated sugar + 30 g(2 Tbsp) water
[how to bake]
preheated oven | 350°F (180°C) | bake for about 40~50 mins. (adjust time)
