I don't know if you know this or not but aluminum foil has tabs on each side that you're supposed to push in to keep it from falling out of the box you could run a piece of string through it that way it would stay in the middle above the paper towels and still be usable be careful with the knives facing up thanks for the video how did it hold up
That's a great idea with the string! Maybe adding a second strap to use both in the bag. It's holding up really great! Been on a couple of expeditions since this video.
I've used the Kelty Kitchen Galaxy deluxe. Plentiful pockets for utensils, spices, etc and spacious for pots, pans, and plates. It also hangs when open, its fantastic.

I have a similar, but smaller bag that I’ve had for 20yrs or so. This looks like nice upgrade for likely less than I paid
