- The Walthers Mainline EMD GP9 provides value and fun at an affordable price and they run very well. I have 3 of these Geeps that we will use in the next 3 episodes. So, stay tuned for next few episodes coming up that will include:

Adding weight to these really makes a difference. I promise the coal train will be longer!

Yeah, the whole layout is a work in progress. If you continue to watch, you will see it transform into something more complete, so stay tuned.

better than an Athearn, but not as good as an Atlas.
I'll have to review an Atlas in the future.
@@Zmanmodelrailroads also better than pre Walthers Life Like and Bachmann too. Atlas walkway/frame is it's main drawback, but the shell is by far more accurate, sans illuminated marker lights. the Japan version is better. Front Range put out a dog last century.
your diagram shows a low nose
GP7. NO low nose GP7 came from the factory that way.
I know. Well, that is there as a visual for GP7s in the wild that were modified later.
621 is NOT a GP9! it is a GP7.
Google images steered me wrong then. Sorry for that slight inaccuracy, then.
