There is a much, much easier way to do this. Hold alt, click on the colour you want the complimentary colour for On a separate layer, dab a dot in the middle, then simply click ctrl+i to invert the colours of that layer and, bam, you have your complimentary colour
@@ECMKAD haha! No sorecery here my friend. Complimentary colours are just the inverse colour. The adobe wheels are still very handy if you're looking to use triadic, analogous or split complimentary colour schemes.
