This is arguably the best of Fela's many hits. Musically, it encompasses and embraces all the elements of the makings of a musical hit by a genius. Here, Fela exhibited an uncharacteristic discipline and control unfamiliar to him. The thumbing intro of the bass line was as infectious as non other. Here' Fela ventured into an experimental melodic escapades, into musical wonderland, to dig up an unconventional pulsating African rhythm yet unharnessed. This to me is his best although not as wildly known as Fela made sure he left us with lots of materials to work with.
This the crown jewel ; the summary swan song of the Nigerian highlife scene. I think this is a tribute to the highlife legacy that fela was once a participant enroute his morphing of African rhythmic syncopation and western and funk & Jazz elements. A masterpiece
Classical High-life Afro Music by Abami-Eda. In those days guys loved 2 hangout 2gether with gaga session going on like no man's biz & Palm Wine Sound playing on in the background. O SA MO......hahahaha.

Totally agree! Undiscovered gold nuggets of the timeless Fela Ransome Kuti! Anikulapo he "whose music" never dies!
Absolutely spectacular!
Another master piece from Fela. His music never grows old. So melodious.

One of Fela's Hidden Gems's, a rarite, but one of the best of Fela, well structured and a little bit different from other Fela numbers.
