Thank you so much! I love practicing this solo and practicing it has helped me out a lot with other songs because of all the high E's and quick finger movement.
Jamie !!! Wonderful !!! Thank you …. I’m from Brazil and I always practice tu our lessons !! I was waiting for this solo and I ask you a long time ago for this lesson !!! and now you give me this gift !!! Jamie you are my idol !! Well my sax teacher too but I consider you a important techer
That is Great! Beauty song, excellent music. I know that looks funny, but im playing and dancing the same time, and that makes me happy. Thank you, mister Anderson. Im collect money, to buy your improvisation course, thats difficult in Russia, but some day i will do that!
Wow! Thanks Jamie! I must say, I like the system you use now better. Much rather have the green slider and the fingering chart. And not the slow speed playing... we can always pause/play anytime... great stuff!
Another pro tutorial - Jaime your on fire on this one - this is one for my list for my channel thanks so much for all your tips & being a great guy Best wishes Paul 🎷🎷🎷
Thanks Jamie, this is so fun and definitely one of the sax solos that got me interested in playing the horn. I really appreciate your making a video on it. Any chance you could add the chords being played so we can see how the solo notes fit in?
@@GetYourSaxTogether God knows I tried to think of one, but your item was just too good. However, I know there are some opportunities in the future, when you'll post some jazzy shit. ;-)
Woohoo! I love me some classic 80s sax solos! And not mega full of altissimo either, BONUS as I still can’t get there despite watching a gazillion tutorials on it! 😂
Hey Jamie, just went back again to this fab solo after hearing it on the radio with my partner stuck on the M25. As an alto player I noticed the fingering chart used bis Bb even though there are following B naturals. I was curious as to whether that's the actual fingering you would use on an alto or if it was just how the fingering software was setup? Maybe a topic for the inner circle backstage. I've been going through my re-education to use the bis instead of side Bb for the last few weeks.
Don’t think I’ve ever played it on alto so not sure. Quite often I’ll switch over from bis to B though. By the way, there’s no fingering software, it’s all hard graft editing these vids.
Great video, Jamie. Quick question: Have you ever got your hands on an automatic saxophone? They were around in the 1930s and you could stick music rolls in them just like a player piano. I've seen old ads for them but have never actually heard one play.
I didn't buy you a ☕ Jamie.......................................................................................that would be embarassing for me. You got 3 and i say it again: your work for us is unpayable!! Thank you So much.🙏 Greetings from 🇩🇪👍🎷
Hi i just picked up sax today and im following along with the video its great i have one issue though , i dont know if my sax is out of tune or something (Alto) but when i play the first C sharp note on my sax if i play all open notes it its not making the right sound but if i play the c sharp with one of the keys at the top on the side it produces the right sound. why is this??
@GetYourSaxTogether I figured it out. My sax was showing too much cork haha. Had to move the mouthpiece down further . It shows 1cm now or just above as recommended by music sax school . Thanks for the reply though !
Get your free PDF for Maneater here! www.getyoursaxtogether.com/maneater
It took years for somebody to actually put notes on UA-cam for sax major respect for that
Thank you! 👍
You're a great bloke, spending so much time helping others. On behalf of everyone, thank you.
Thank you kindly
I learnt the solo today, this might also be one of my favourites just like Born To Run and Baker Street
It’s a beaut.
Once again, Absolutely legendary Jamie ,Can't thank you enough. Can't play it ,But having fun trying!!!!😁😁😁😁
Thanks so much James! 🙏🏻

Awesome. Love that.
Thanks Jamie! I am pretty bad at reading rhythms, so your 'green line' over the notes is helpful for playing in time.
Cool, glad to hear it. Rhythm is most people’s weak suit.
listen to this on a nice set of headphones - Gorgeous! Thanks again :-)
Thanks 😊
This is amazing, useful and really helpful. Thank you so much.

Wicked man!
Great stuff as always Jamie. Loved your performance at Let's Rock Southampton with Wet Wet Wet by the way. Cool dance moves too 🙂👍

Wow! Never heard of that.
You need to do a class how to get the growly sound! 😃
As I say in the lesson, there’s a video linked in the description doing just that!
@@GetYourSaxTogether is that what vibrato is!! I’m just a learner. Best thing I’ve ever done

I tried looking, but do you have one of these videos on the "I will always love you" - Whitney Houston sax solo?
