- Got an in-line coolant fan switch suitable for a 15/16inch hose from ebay that would turn the fan on at 90(ish) and off at 80(ish)
connected up with the green/yellow wire at the relay and a suitable ground on the engine
heres a post on the R1 forum
www.r1-forum.com/threads/2005... the links to the ebay items and instructions are now dead so will have to redo those myself when i do the next vid for my 4c8 r1 - Авто та транспорт
Nice. Thank you
Any way you can make an install video for this? I'm trying to wire a 3 prong switch (has an indicator LED) and I can't get it to turn on the fans. Electrical systems are obviously not my strong suit, but I could use the help on my 04 R1 since you know they run hot
Nice mod was there anything wrong with you're 05 r1 im assuming this video is old my 05 sounds just like you're motor almost has a nock to it
thanks, no the engine was fine, that bike was used on track days a number of times since the mod and still ran smooth - i always changed out oil after a track day too, valves were also serviced and i didnt hear any knocking sounds - but to be fair i cant hear a knock in the audio either
Hi how did you set up that bypass
hey ricky, i connected it up to the fan switch relay - ive just bought a 4c8 r1, im gonna do the same thing on that one so ill do a better install vid, same setup.
