I envy your "British summer." Today in Palm Springs, California I saw 124 degrees F. That's 51F ! Beautiful GT2RS homage. I've been lucky enough to own a GT3, GT4, and GT4RS among other Porsches. I now drive a 991.2 Turbo S. I've watched your yachting channel for years but only discovered this channel just now.
I had a 996 C2 for 6 years. I sold it when I started sailing for a living. Every time I jumped in it, even for a quick trip to the shops, I loved hearing that engine. Beautiful cars, hewn from granite! The tyres cost me about £3k a year though!
Nice to see you back in the old school mate. Back on your tech channel. I’ve missed the format. Just try not to drive to France and break down this time.
Fabulous video, appreciate your effort on this and other channel. Drive and enjoy the car . Weather-wise,can send you some 4c temps from NZ. Maungaturoto, New Zealand.
Amazing car. If I could I would definitely get a Porsche but they are just out of my reach unfortunately. Keep up the good work and also love the main channel too. 👍
I've been following your Superyacht channel for a couple of years as I live in Dubai and we had a few of the Russian big boys hanging out here to avoid sanctions. I'd no idea you had a car channel too and such a cool 997!
Lovely car, looks fantastic! Currently have a 991.1 C4S and was looking to go to a 992.1 GTS, but keep thinking maybe a 991 GT3 and get a cheap daily driver rather than a more modern Porsche.
Hi new to your channel its just popped up on my feed. I'm currently wanting to do a 'replica/ conversion' like you said you would never drive a real gt2 rs, but with this you get the looks you want in a car but can drive it as its never going to be a 300-500k car so I defo know why you went this route. Do you have a video covering off your conversion work done and costs? Found the videos and binged them all. Wow i wasnt awarw there was quite so much to a conversion. Anything on rough costs. Plus wow you have had the car forever, got an itch to sell 😊😅?
It's amazing how much needs to be changed to make a car that looks very similar to the original car! I never worked out the exact cost but it was more than I paid for the donor car.
Hey up sysman two new vids in a day is sweet, this one made a pleasant change from your normal world, surprised you didn't get an advisory for having lost your front number plate
First point: I didn't know you had this channel (been a subscriber for years on the Superyacht channel). Maybe let people know about it there? (Of course I am now subscribed here). Second point: The pulleys had worse wear on parts (not even wear). I wonder if the stretched chain caused that. Maybe if the problem had been diagnosed sooner the pulleys would have been OK.
Quick question my brother. When you garage the car for extended periods do you put it on axle stands to keep the weight off the tyres? I have a friend who has a very nice Lancia Delta, it’s his baby. It’s a real minter. And he keeps it on axle stands when he’s away. Like yourself he’s away a lot so he doesn’t drive it too often. He keeps on axle stands just to keep the weight off the tyres. Do you do similar?
No but I have used wheel chocks in the past. But I have to admit in the last couple of years I've not been using them. Haven't seen any issues with the tyres.
Can you do a video on the build of your car or going over the work done to do the conversation, I really like the idea of dong one as Iove the 997 car and love the gt2 rs , have you retained the 4wd
Beautiful car , original or not is not important. I think buying one of the Rally version 911 with a better clearance because the streets are so bad here. Saludos desde Panama 997 Carrera original
That RSR, replica or real is amazing. The prices of them have gone way up and even a replica, especially one that is that well built, would bring in a lot of money to someone that wanted an RSR but actually wanted to drive it. That's the advantage of your car. You get the look, but you can drive it and put miles on it and don't habe to worry about the amount of super depreciation that you would get in a real one. People knock replica builds, and some like a Fiero that so eone tries to pass off as a Ferrari, I get. The rep.ica builds ,ike yours, or when people take a 720S and put on a body kit to make it look like the GT4 car, or an LM build, that's cool. In a real car, the depreciation that stresses owners out, even the ines that swear 'I'm never selling this car ever',sweat about miles. In a replica build, you don't really care all that much, you still care, but to the average person that knkw little about cars, they don't knkw the difference, they just see stickers with a model name.
Awesome another 5 points, Sorry you had idiots trying to post your info. You haven't been negative about the russian yachts as you just talk about the yachts and their current situations.
I mean, I onkw your real name, but will use 'Dan' as Tristan said infamously or I'll say 'Geoff' to throw people off. I would never use your real name on here or the main channel. People doxxing you is just dumb.
Good to see this channel back.
Thanks Tristan
I was just wondering last month if you were still driving your beautiful Porsche’s and making content with them. Awesome to see! Thx for sharing.

Wish I'd kept my 911S...life goes on. Very nice ride, thanks for the memories!
Welcome back, I love watching your car channel.

Sorry to hear that. I love cars and yachts, so more content is welcome
Interesting video. Much different in Florida. Thanks for posting.

Love this build, very meticulous. Is the wheel finish ‘Weiss’ gold?
Yes, only original specs will do for me!
Great to see you back here! Been wondering where this car was in your last video 😀
Glad to see you back! ❤
Good to see you back

Oh that car of yours looks stunning! 🥰😜Have fun with it and you should bring it down to the south of France where I live 😜
Willkommen zurück.
What a beautiful vehicle original or not.

I have a front number plate, it’s just not in the middle (there’s no requirement for it to be)
@@eSysmanTech sorry mate didn't see it
Thanks for the cool info on these built cars. Please make a track vid with your 'GT2RS'.
You forgot to mention that it’s legal to drive an untaxed car directly from home to the MOT testing facility. As long as it’s a one way trip.
I thought I mentioned that?

You were right!
Great to see your toy out and about 👍🇦🇺🦘🙃

There's a playlist on the channel (just created) with all the videos in there showing the entire build.

Porsche, there is no substitute.
Very nice car! Curious, how much is the road tax in the UK?
For a year about £750

Was it 5 Points or 5 Pints we earned? ... Stay Safe & Keep Driving!! ☘
You can have five pints if you wish! Haha
What's your daily then? If I had this car Id daily it
Daily a Macan GTS
The fogged up numberplate is GT02 ARSE, just for the record...
Forgot to ask why you gave me 5 points and what are they for
Awesome another 5 points, Sorry you had idiots trying to post your info. You haven't been negative about the russian yachts as you just talk about the yachts and their current situations.
Ok what's everyone going to do with there 5 point's ha ha.
If you watched till the end of the video you know what I am on about.
Can I redeem my 5points for a 959!?
You can try!

Just to let you know , at 4:05 pulling into the MOT garage your number plate is visible 😐👍
Thanks, I’m not overly concerned about mine, I was asked to blur out the cars at the garage.
