TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES Discord: discord.gg/invite/NMrDrPG - If your phone will not connect to your PC go to this website: www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ change the port to 1935 make sure Nginx is running in your Task Manager and click Check on the website, if it says your port is open you are good, if it says its closed then you are not. If it is closed and Nginx is running then go to RTMP Stream Server>nginx-automatic-low-bitrate-switching>nginx>windows firewall Right click and you are going to have to edit the open.firewall.ports file so you might need Visual Studio Code or Notepad++ will work. Open that file and you should see some code in there. Make sure the port numbers are correct, change 4444 to 4455, so it should be 1935 and 4455 if its not then change those and save it then run that file in Administrator Mode (right click) and check again. - If OBS Blade will not connect to your OBS then this should fix it: Go to | RTMP Stream Server>nginx-automatic-low-bitrate-switching>nginx>windows firewall | Right click and you are going to have to edit the open.firewall.ports file so you might need Visual Studio Code or Notepad++ will work. Open that file and you should see some code in there. Line 1 and 2 change anything that says 4444 to 4455. Save that file and then double click on the open.firewall.ports bat file so it can run. Then try to connect with OBS Blade again - If looking up "Whats my IP" doesn't give you about 9-12 numbers then go to this website: www.whatismyip.com/ and use the Public IPv4 address. This is DIFFERENT then your private IPv4 address in CMD Ipconfig. The PUBLIC IPv4 from that website is what you will use for anything that needs your PUBLIC IP. - IF you are having issues with the live stream from Moblin Iphone App not working and just showing a black screen in OBS go to the connection settings and change the video setting encoder from H.265 to H.264. NEW: - If your ports are still closed and you followed all the directions and you think you have it port forwarded correctly try these 2 parts. Go to your windows search bar bottom left, type in Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security. Part 1. Go to Inbound Rules (left side) look through the list for OBS or OBS Studio (if it is there and has a RED X then edit it and Allow the connection) if it is not there, click New Rule (right side) - Program - Browse (find NGINX.exe in your files NOT THE SHORTCUT YOU MADE) - Allow the connection - Leave everything checked - Name it whatever. Do this exact same thing again but look and choose OBS.exe if you couldn't find it already in the list. Part 2. Go to Outbound rules and do the exact same thing for did for Inbound rules above, check to see if OBS or OBS Studio is already there and make sure the connection is allowed, if not then add OBS and NGINX as a new rule the same as you did for Inbound Rules. (NGINX will probably not be in either list but you can check anyway.) - As always double check everything because one missing / or : can make this not work, so follow along closely and double check. @@YuppyGames Have done everything including trying to join your discord server and it is all a fail. I myself am pretty computer smart and nothing is working. I have even manually allowed ports 4455 and 1935 through the inbound rules and enabled both through the firewall on the router and the computer and STILL nothing works. Server is up and running in the background but nothing is working lol.
It took me 2 days and tons of hours of brain work to get fucked up by other guides. Now I found your video and it helped so much. I really appreciate your work and you are my personal hero! Thanks and greetings from germany.
Yuppy, your explanation was truly invaluable. This video really saved my life. Although I initially had trouble opening port protocols, I purchased a static IP address and set everything up again, and now everything works perfectly. My English isn’t the best, but your clear explanations, the visuals in the video, and your emphasis on what to focus on were really helpful. I hope you get the recognition you deserve, my friend. Wishing you all the best in your content creation journey!
Yooo, think it all worked! Thanks a ton! headin to Twitchcon in a week and wanted to get somethin to be able to stream IRL! Going to try it out with the GoPro11 tomorrow to see if everything loads up. Legendary work!
Here, sub number 400 LOL. Excellent video, was very informative! I love doing crazy tech stuff with my stream as well, so hoping to see more of your content.
Wow. I am speechless. That video solved so many question. I guess now there are paid services that provide solutions like that. Or not? Anyway this is super valuable. Thank you
Awesome video and awesome guy. I had a couple problems and joined Yuppys discord and he took time out his own day to help me. That’s real shit 🤝🏿 wish you nothing but the best 🙏🏿
Nice video! I wanna figure out how I can do this with a extra camera and while streaming pokemon go. What you have shown here is deff helpful and I will probably figure out the last parts myself: Thank you
Awesome glad it helped! You might be able to livestream the pokemon go feed and camera feed seperately but will require a ton of data I would imagine and would require a lot of testing to sync them up as best as possible. However I am not fully sure the best way to do this, honestly I would look up and maybe ask around for how people livestream Pokemon Go normally and then livestream direct to this setup instead of their Paid setup they are using to host the disconnect Protection
Great video- I’m racing the Baja 500 on June 1 and this is what we’re needing- we using Starlink on the car. How would you recommend us hooking up the GoPro. We don’t use a phone. Thank you for your video. Lotta great information.
So if you dont use a phone to connect to the GoPro then the only way would be to use a Media Mod and Computer with direct HDMI with a Elgato Cam Link or something, basically in my opinion you need to use a phone as the phone connects to the GoPro to livestream from it... maybe there is another way I dont know about.
Hello everyone! Im watching Yuppy's video on how to IRL live stream and im at the port forwarding part, and the options for me are (service name) (Global port range) (Base Host Port) and (Protocol) I filled in everything but (Global Port Range) it has 2 blank boxes and idk what to put in there btw im using AT&T
Global Port Range will just be the same port at Base Host Port. So if it has 2 spots for it then just put that same port in both of those spots, it should work.
Ummm I am not 100% sure. You would have to see if the Live U can stream RTMP the same way your phone would. If not you would probably have to look up how a Live U can stream directly to a NGINX server. Sorry I know nothing about those devices.
Nice updated guide! One thing worth mentioning, especially if traveling and away from the pc is a remote desktop controller. Personally i use "Remote Desktop" which runs through chrome browser. Super easy. As long as the computer is on, you can get in and turn everything back on etc, all tge way from the windows loggin screen. in event of it shuts down or restarts etc, so long as it reboots back up, you're good. You coukd actually control obs n everything as well, but its not a convenient way to do so.
Yea I use OBS Blade for OBS control otherwise I have a remote desktop program as well that I have used a few times to fix URLs and stuff. So great tip!
A total lifesaver, thank you very much sir, you really helped me A LOT (if you can take any advice, your thumbnail is WAY WORSE than then the video results to be)
Omg thank you so much you made life much easier. Just wondering how that connects to GoPro. I’m still considering to buy one and use it so I’m not familiar of how streaming its feed would connect to obs.
With a GoPro you would use the GoPro Quik App and there is a livestream function on there that will let you input the custom RTMP URL so that the GoPro livestreams directly to your computer. I have done it and it works well, just keep in mind you need Mobile Hotspot data since your GoPro needs Wifi to stream. Also if you want your gopro to last long then you would have to have it directly plugged in the whole time. Also the Quality isnt as good as a Iphone or Android of course, but still not terrible either.
This looks so good! Looking at getting into irl streaming and this is the best way to go about it without having to pay an arm and a leg to do it at good quality! A question I have though, with this set up, if you go traveling abroad to do irl streaming, at home you’d just have to set up the server, and noalbs, and as long as your pc runs and home internet doesn’t get cut, then no matter where in the world you are, you should still be able to connect to it?? But if you get a black out or your internet at home drops, then you can’t go live again using this method? Is that correct to assume?
That would be correct, if you have your PC automatically turn back on when the power comes on then you could get a program that runs in the background on your computer allowing you to control the desktop however you want from your phone. It is possible there are just some settings you would have to enable if you wanted that or maybe a device you would have to get to plug your PC Power cable in that will force it to start back up. I think there is a BIOS setting for it though.
everything works up until to the point where i cant connect when im on phone data. it would just say "failed to connect to rtmp server on the moblin app." it will only work if im connected to the same network. im sure i used the PUBLIC address too. help appreciated :)
Right so if that is the case then again make sure you are using your PUBLIC IP just triple check to be sure. If you are 100% sure it is your public ip and NOT your IPV4 address then good. The next step would be to make sure that you port forwarded correctly, since if you didn’t port forward correctly then it will not work if you stream using your data. So double check your port forwarding to UDP/TCP and the ip that is forwarded to is your IPV4 of your pc the server is running on. And that the port you are forwarding is 1935 let me know if you double check all of that to make sure and tell me what exactly is going on in as much detail as you can.
Good question, I could make a newer video with how to do that actually. Anyways you can either livestream OBS to Restream website OR you can get the free OBS Multi-RTMP streaming plugin and use that to stream to multiple destinations.
Dang streaming with adobe media encoder in 2007 was way less convoluted that that. 37:45 > public address from the phone data right? not from your home wifi
Public IP address of your home wifi. Since when you port forward it’s using your homes wifi which the phone will connect to. So whatever computer your PC that is running the Nginx server on the internet it’s using you need that Public IP address. Also yea it’s a bit complex but I mean only other option would be to pay a large monthly fee for a company to do it you know. I’m gona hook some wires into a potato and stream from that next tutorial. 👍 Anymore issues tho ask away thanks
Amazing video bro But my quesion is, how will I do IRL with a good camera like an Sony A7s iii? I mean that was the reason I was watching this video, since you can just also stream directly from your phone right? (Not sure lol)
You should be able to do it however you will need a IRL backpack type setup since you need to livestream the camera feed to the IRL setup that you use to setup on this video. Not sure if that helps but its really hard to do it with an external camera, not impossible but very advanced.
If it helps, I guess is on OBS configuration, when you setup the scenes. Remember when that configuration file was edited, and there was only one section for one camera ( with a url ... publish/live ), and we've created a new section duplicated from the previous one, but with the url ... publish/live2 ?? ... the live/live2 can be used as you want... for example, imagine you have one group of the setting with /publish/phone , another group with /publish/SonyA7, and another with /publish/GoPro12 ... this means that you allow 3 input sources for 3 devices ( Phone, SonyA7 and GoPro12 )... On the scene, when adding sources or cameras, you just need to select/match this names and you're good to go... multiple video sources to add on the scene, ... maybe even one scene with all sources (imagine you have a big property and distributed cameras across the property... that way you can do surveillance ;) )
Whenever you want to switch to IRL you would click on one of the 3 scenes in OBS for your IRL streaming, then make sure NGINX and Noalbs is running on your computer and you are good to go. Then if you want to switch back to Desktop from IRL, switch OBS back to one of the main scenes you want and close out of NoAlbs (NGINX can be closed through task manager but it will shut off after you shutdown or restart your computer.)
I do plan on making a video soon going over Samsung Iphone and GoPro again for anyone who couldnt figure it out. If you look through the comments some I did explain to some about the Android setup with IRL.PRO app but the menus can be a bit confusing with configuring a stream, you have to setup as a Custom RTMP and then its the same method as Moblin showed in the video with the URL.
AMAZING VIDEO everthing worked until i tested the streaming from moblin, it switched my scenes on obs to the right screen, it just didnt show my camera and left it as a black screen. Do you know how i can fix it??
So with this your phone has to livestream to your PC which OBS takes in that phone stream, then you stream from OBS to whatever platform you want. So the phone stream has to be done, once you get it to your PC OBS you can do whatever you want with it.
so i read a few comments and seen ur were responding to the go pro ones so that helped. im having trouble with the cmd part i click enter after pasting that link in the cmd and its telling me that 'git' is not recognized as an internal or external command
Yea so you will have to watch the beginning again when I install the git program otherwise it won’t work. This process needs to be followed 100% exact with no skipped steps otherwise it won’t work.
I do have a tutorial video out for Android phones that does cover Twitch setup as well if that is what you are looking for. However my IRL setup livestreams your phone to your computer OBS and then OBS can livestream wherever you want. So you would have to setup OBS to livestream to Twitch which I dont cover in my videos. ua-cam.com/video/EMqMD20NamM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Yuppy Incase you want to livestream directly from your phone to Twitch without my setup it is in this video i just linked.
Hi, I want to ask you if you have it set up like this, can I use my phone to broadcast anywhere outside my home on my phone's data when I have my PC on at home?
Yes that is exactly what this setup does, I livestreamed from my phone data from hundreds of miles away from my PC and my PC at home ran the livestream using this exact system.
@YuppyGames I followed trouble shooting and video step by step but my mobling will not connect with obs, my forwarding system is different from yours Becuase my internet service has me use devices as forwarding like my pc and apple. To break it down I can’t add a forwarding like you did, the only way I add one is if I do a ip reservation to my apple phone and pc. Basically would I put the 1935 under my apple phone and 4455 to my pc to forward the connection? Let me know if you have an idea
Yea you have to figure out how to setup 2 different rules in your port forwarding. Forwarding to a device is fine but both port 1935 and 4455 have to be port forwarded to your PC, nothing will go to your phone. So you just have to make sure 1935 and 4455 are TCP/UDP or BOTH and are forwarded to your PC. It doesn't matter if you can't select an IP while port forwarding as long as you select your PC it will be fine.
Not really sure what you mean here. When you port forward in your router you will forward to the computer the NGINX server is running on, and protocol TCP/UDP. I am not sure what you mean by internal and external?@@skywalkerplayz883
@@YuppyGames So with the internet provider I use I have to pick a device to make a ip reservation to then make a port forward. So I click my pc becuase thats what I would want to prot forward from? So the options I get is assignment name which I named pc. Then theres External port and internal port. I put 1935 as internal and 4455 as external, not sure if i messed up the ports orders. I have protocol to tcp+upd.
You have to do them seperate, you need to make 2 rules. One for 1935 and one for 4455 and those ports are both internal and external, so Internal 1935 and External 1935 then do the same with 4455.@@skywalkerplayz883
Hello, i have one question I want to stream without my internet router in my house, but i don`t have IRL Backpack Do you have an alternative to stream without IRL Backpack, only with my phone?
@@YuppyGames HAHAHA OH NO! starlink has no port forwarding! it looks like i will have to do a liiiitle more digging, but all of the other information was ultra helpful
i have installed the VLC media palyer twice now and restarted my pc and obs and can not for the life of me get VLC to show up as a source... think maybe an OBS update could be the reason? My obs just updated yesterday!
@@julija052 That would be the best in my opinion. StreamLabs OBS is very hard on your computer as it uses more Resources making it harder to run. So OBS Studio will not be as hard and wont make your computer work as hard too. :D If you need anything let me know.
I was able to get the stream running while connected to my home network but as soon as I tried to use my phone as a hotspot with my DJI osmo pocket 3 I would get an error. Is this a port forwarding issue? The pocket 3 has to be connected through WiFi so am I able to use my iPhone 15 pro max as a hotspot following this tutorial?
Yes your Iphone 15 Pro Max would have to have Hotspot on for the DJI to stream to it. However if it is not working check my pinned comment for some troubleshooting. If you cannot get it figured out then join my discord and I can help you. YuppyGames.com/Discord
Are you trying to get 2 cameras to livestream to your computer? For example I sometimes have my Android phone and my GoPro as well, they are both sent into OBS to my PC and then livestreamed to Kick from OBS. It allows me to have 2 cameras basically.
@@YuppyGames I would only have the GoPro streaming as camera and would be streaming a game on the phone while I'm out. Haven't been able to test if Moblin can share the screen like Prism Live does.
You do the same thing except you will download the GoPro Quik app on your phone and livestream to Custom RTMP there and use the same URL I mention in the video.
this worked good for a few streams but for some reason it just goes offline everytime i go live i have full connection and still goes disconnect sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt using my gopro
So this worked good for a while then all of a sudden it stopped working? This is really weird... can you message me on discord with more information so we can see if we can figure this out. Also include the details of how you are streaming with the GoPro. Through a phone? Using Hotspot or Wifi? What phone is it Android or Apple? Details like that so I can better assist you. YuppyGames.net/Discord
You would use your Phone as a hotspot and livestream to Custom RTMP from the GoPro. You can look up a tutorial for livestreaming from a GoPro and there is a Custom RTMP option that you would then use the same link you would stream from the phone with.
I think its still the same way if I am not mistaken, you just need to get VLC Media Source to show up as an option when you try to add a Source to your Scene. Otherwise I am not sure sadly as I dont recommend StreamLabs OBS.
So if you found a way to use your sony camera to livestream to the setup, what are the devices you have to open up chat, it would need to be on a phone. Also are you multistreaming and need to see multiple chats? Sorry for the late reply as well.
So just to confirm, my pc needs to stay on? Even if I'm travelling for an entire week I have to leave it running while Im gone. And what would happen if it falls into sleep mode?
Currect it would have to be on the entire time. If it goes into sleep mode honestly I am not sure how that works. There is software you can install that will allow you to control your PC remotely like full control but I am not sure how that works with Sleep mode.
@@YuppyGames is there any way I could install nginx and no albs from another pc with a different wifi connection but the same rtmp server? so, I dont have to run my main server pc from home when I'm leaving
@@rajdhanitarek7344 Yes you can install this on as many PCs as you want, however if it is a different Wifi then it will have a different Public IP address that you would have to livestream to. Also not to mention that PC would have to have OBS on it as well.
As long as your GoPro is streaming from the GoPro Quik app and it is streaming to the RTMP URL in the app then OBS should be fine. Double check that the GoPro Quik app is streaming to the right RTMP URL and that the OBS VLC source is correct. Let me know once you do this and make sure it is all correct.
@@YuppyGames I did. It is correct... The scene switches in OBS from the clip playing scene to the Main live scene & Gopro says live and quik app is streaming live with no issue but the obs screen is black... Maybe a firewall issue? blocking an incoming signal? Could really use some advice figuring out. Everything else seems to work fine expect that
Everything is working perfectly, OBS blade works on and off the wifi anywhere i am at. Moblin works ONLY on the wifi.. is this a portforwarding issue ? not sure how to fix this
So what I will recommend is check my pinned comment and go to that website to check to see if your port is opened using that website while you run NGINX if it says the port is closed then its something with Port Forwarding or Firewall issue...
Did I understand correctly that if I go for a walk and want to stream IRL, I have to have my PC on at home? Can it be done so that I can stream using only equipment, for example, in a backpack?
I am not sure actually, if you have this setup on a laptop or something in your backpack maybe but otherwise if you have a IRL backpack usually there is something that has disconnect protection with it from what I’ve seen?
Wassup Yuppy! I recently seen your IRL setup vid and I set up everything perfectly but am having trouble with the Ipv4 Port Forwarding section. I have a Verizon router just like you and when I try to apply the 4455 and 1935 rules it says update ipv4 rules failed. Appreciate any help!
Most consumer routers are horrible and unstable when applying forwarding rules. Is UPNP enabled on the router? This protocol tries to auto configure network devices like an Xbox, etc.. turn UPNP off and try setting the rules again and then reboot router and test/apply again. Also look into running Wireshark to sniff packets and filter on the relevant ip addresses on your LAN. Also Telnet and utilities like it are good for testing ports.
I did not show it but if you look up how to livestream from your GoPro or osmo then they should allow for Custom RTMP and that is where the ending link would go the same link you would stream from your phone.
Awesome Video! I liked and Subscribed! I am running into an issue though. My phone wont connect when its not on the network. I checked the Public IP 100 times and its correct. I even tested the port from my phone while not on the network and it says Port 1935 is open. Not sure what else to try. Im sooo close. lol.
@@TERRIBLETRAVELS Yea so I have heard of this before, Moblin is weird for some people where it doesnt want to livestream correctly to the RTMP server and I could not figure out why at all... hopefully the other app you use will work for you though, sorry for the issues.
@@YuppyGames I reached out to the Devs and sent them all my logs. They are updating the app in a couple days. Hopefully it fixes the issue for those having issues.
@@YuppyGames The update fixed the issue. Devs going to update the app again for another test. Once the production app rolls out, this should not be an issue for others anymore.
You do the same method like what is shown in the video, but you use the GoPro quik app on the phone to connect to the GoPro and livestream to Custom RTMP on the GoPro Quick App and then you put in the url that I put into Moblin into that stream there. Can also look up how to livestream from Gopro videos and see as well just need custom RTMP and the URL that I show inthe video.
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I've been trying to figure out how to connect to OBS for IRL streaming and this was SO helpful. Question: I was able to successfully connect my phone to PC and have the footage to show up within my designated OBS scene. However, I'm not able to connect to OBS using OBS Blade on my phone. I keep getting the error: "Couldn't connect to a websocket." For ref, I'm using my public IPv4 address on Moblin. I've tried to get OBS Blade set up with both my IP address and my public IPv4 address, as well as made sure everything is in line with the video/troubleshooting instructions (updated the open.firewall code) but it looks like port 1935 is open and port 4455 is closed. Do you have any recommendations on how I can fix the issue?
Hmmm weird, so only 2 things. 1. Either the port is not forwarded in your router like 1935 is so double check that. 2. Sometimes computers absolutely hate certain firewalls, try to disable your firewall for a second and test it, if it is open then its something with your firewall. Re-enable your firewall and we will have to troubleshoot from there, otherwise if it still isnt open something is wrong with Port Forwarding or something else.
@@YuppyGames Ahhh thank you!! You are correct! When I turned off my firewall Port 4455 opened and I could connect with OBS Blade. Added the port to firewall rules and now all is working smoothly. Appreciate the great tutorial and your help! Another question that comes to mind, how do you manage alerts/activity while live streaming? Do you use a separate phone?
@@lilzee_tv Amazing! Glad that worked for you! As for the alerts and messages it dpeends on the phone and what app. Iphone sadly cannot have alerts that work so it would require a second Android Phone mainly or an Iphone that can see activity history. Otherwise for Android Phone IRL Pro can have alerts built in and get the audio and everything.
So as long as you have the setup done correctly you can start it from anywhere using the OBS Blade app. I have done it it completely different states and it worked fine, so again just make sure you follow along and look at my Pinned comment for any other issues that you may have, and make sure OBS Blade is working as that is what you will use to start and stop your stream from wherever you are, and yes you MUST always keep your PC on and the Nginx server along with Noalbs running for everything to work.
Ran into two issue and I need some Help😢, 1. No matter how I troubleshoot I cant open the firewall for the RTMP server whether or not I change the config file to make sure the port codes are 4455 and 1935 2. The phone app for Iphone wont connect at all, I keep getting the error “Cant connect to RTMP server” so my phone video never comes up on OBS
So I assume you checked my pinned comment and looked at what I suggested there. Usually at least one of those ports should open and be seen on that website. You need to make sure NGINX is running on your computer, and that you port forwarded correctly in your router settings. Once you double check all of that and if you are still having issues contact me on discord. YuppyGames.net/Discord
for your second error I had that just make sure that you are running the nginx app before starting to stream on the phone as it need to be run every time your restart your laptop as well as the noalbs app
All you would do is when you want to IRL just run NoAlbs and NGINX as long as you were streaming desktop on the OBS that the irl setup is on as well, this is how I usually stream
MY hp laptop is 2011 and i cant Nvidia control panel to open anymore on my old hp laptop do i absolutely need it to stream to my laptop for obs and and everything. After i updated my laptop to windows 10 i dunno what happened to graphics. So please any help with the 3d part would help.
I think the video would have been a masterpiece if you had also taught how to set it up on android with IRL PRO and also configure the GoPro, but at least the android one since it's very common to have an android phone. And also set up for Twitch, not just kick, as some things are different. I'll have to do some research and test to see how it sets up in IRL PRO on android.
Its the same thing for GoPro and Android IRL Pro, you select Custom for IRL Pro or select RTMP for GoPro and you use the same URL I showed in the video. Also for Twitch you can setup the Twitch section in the Config, however that is just for mods manually switching the scenes, otherwise for streaming you just livestream to Twitch from OBS how you normally would.
That means that something is wrong in your Config, try to check your config letter for letter with my tutorial as if there is anything missing or a space in the wrong spot it will all not work.
GoPro works the same way. Using the GoPro Quik app you livestream to custom RTMP with the url I explain in the video and you go live. I recommend shutting off saving the stream to the GoPro too so it doesn’t fill the sd card storage.
Double check your Config file with mine. There must be something missing that got messed up in there. Any missing number or comma or bracket will cause it to break. Also one thing I notice is that the "name" at the top of my config is 715209 and what you just sent there you are missing a 0 at 209 maybe that could be the cause. I did a full scroll of my config file so you could slow down the video and make sure yours looks exactly like mine.@@Teboy
If you connect OBS Blade and leave your PC on then you can start your stream whenever you want meaning you can start on a schedule as long as you do it manually.
You need to make sure that the config is setup the exact same way mine is. If you are missing even 1 comma then it will break the whole thing. Double check the NoAlbs part and the OBS settings in the Config for that part and let me know. Cross reference the video like crazy, it likes to be perfect sadly. If that doesnt work for you, contact me on discord. YuppyGames.net/Discord

No you have to be able to get into your router settings to port forward. Otherwise this wont work. It might work for around the house/apartment but if you try to leave your Wifi distance then it wont work.
So far none of this is working for me. I have done everything to the T and nothing seems to work. I am assuming it could be the newer versions that are messed up and not working right. I also can't control OBS blade unless I am on wifi, i have tried it your way too, and that is ALSO not working now.
Can you check my pinned comment and try to use some of those to see if you can identify the problem. Especially the one with the port checking website to see if your port is actually open or not, since if 4455 is closed then OBS Blade will only work on Wifi not on mobile data. If you can figure anything out with that join my discord and send me a message and we can try to fix it for you. YuppyGames.com/Discord
@@YuppyGames link to discord doesn't work. I have checked the port and so far it shows that it is closed. I have tried disabling firewalls on both my computer and the router and still nothing made a difference.

Hey yuppy, this video is a bar of gold in a pile of trash, its probably the answer to the problem ive had but i just wanna be sure, can i adapt this method for streaming from my Sony A7iv camera?
So I have been asked this a few times, basically you need to find a way to livestream the camera feed of the camera to the setup from this video. Usually it would require a backpack with an HDMI cable connected to the camera. I am not fully sure the best way to do this or the best setup for this sadly so I cant be too much help. But if you do find a way to do that then this setup should work with it fine, just need that Camera footage.
TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES
Discord: discord.gg/invite/NMrDrPG
- If your phone will not connect to your PC go to this website: www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ change the port to 1935 make sure Nginx is running in your Task Manager and click Check on the website, if it says your port is open you are good, if it says its closed then you are not.
Then try to connect with OBS Blade again
- If looking up "Whats my IP" doesn't give you about 9-12 numbers then go to this website: www.whatismyip.com/ and use the Public IPv4 address.
NEW:
- If your ports are still closed and you followed all the directions and you think you have it port forwarded correctly try these 2 parts. (NGINX will probably not be in either list but you can check anyway.)
- As always double check everything because one missing / or : can make this not work, so follow along closely and double check.

Well done my friend WELL DONE
Hello everyone! Im watching Yuppy's video on how to IRL live stream and im at the port forwarding part, and the options for me are (service name) (Global port range) (Base Host Port) and (Protocol)
I filled in everything but (Global Port Range)
it has 2 blank boxes and idk what to put in there
btw im using AT&T
Global Port Range will just be the same port at Base Host Port. So if it has 2 spots for it then just put that same port in both of those spots, it should work.

ok i did everything but how do i connect my live u solo encoder and my camera to obs?
A total lifesaver, thank you very much sir, you really helped me A LOT (if you can take any advice, your thumbnail is WAY WORSE than then the video results to be)
Yea no problem happy to help. As for thumbnail yea I know I changed it up so will see
Omg thank you so much you made life much easier.
Great video 👍👍👍
everything works up until to the point where i cant connect when im on phone data. it would just say "failed to connect to rtmp server on the moblin app." it will only work if im connected to the same network. im sure i used the PUBLIC address too. help appreciated :)
Great video but you didn’t show streaming on multiple platforms. How can I stream on Kick & UA-cam simultaneously with this solution?
Anymore issues tho ask away thanks
Best video on UA-cam, now I can become a celeb
Amazing video bro
But my quesion is, how will I do IRL with a good camera like an Sony A7s iii?
Can u make a video on how to switch from irl to desktop with this setup
Whenever you want to switch to IRL you would click on one of the 3 scenes in OBS for your IRL streaming, then make sure NGINX and Noalbs is running on your computer and you are good to go. Then if you want to switch back to Desktop from IRL, switch OBS back to one of the main scenes you want and close out of NoAlbs (NGINX can be closed through task manager but it will shut off after you shutdown or restart your computer.)
@yuppy please make a video for the Samsung phone, I’m stuck with all this stuff downloaded on my computer 🤦🏾♂️😭🙏🏿
I do plan on making a video soon going over Samsung Iphone and GoPro again for anyone who couldnt figure it out. If you look through the comments some I did explain to some about the Android setup with IRL.PRO app but the menus can be a bit confusing with configuring a stream, you have to setup as a Custom RTMP and then its the same method as Moblin showed in the video with the URL.
what are the minimum specs for the computer to run this? THis tutorial is awesome and informative thank you!!
I am not sure what the minimum specs would be sorry. The computer needs to at least be able to livestream through OBS.
at 5:08 Go to the URL down below. Down below where?
In the description it has every URL you will need.

AMAZING VIDEO
everthing worked until i tested the streaming from moblin, it switched my scenes on obs to the right screen, it just didnt show my camera and left it as a black screen. Do you know how i can fix it??
You would have to check what your VLC source is set to. If that isn’t set correctly then it won’t work so I would double check that.
Great info bro I love your explanations thanks you. can you use another OBS pc to stream instead of phone?
So with this your phone has to livestream to your PC which OBS takes in that phone stream, then you stream from OBS to whatever platform you want. So the phone stream has to be done, once you get it to your PC OBS you can do whatever you want with it.
can you do a macbook version
I don't have a macbook or else I would see if its possible so sadly no. Maybe someone else has created a video for it not sure.
can u make a video on how to do this but on a go pro 11 instead of a phone ??? or is going to be the same process ??
so i read a few comments and seen ur were responding to the go pro ones so that helped. im having trouble with the cmd part i click enter after pasting that link in the cmd and its telling me that 'git' is not recognized as an internal or external command
Yea so you will have to watch the beginning again when I install the git program otherwise it won’t work. This process needs to be followed 100% exact with no skipped steps otherwise it won’t work.
could you make a tutorial on how to setup twitch streaming instead of kick?
I was so shocked to read this comment after almost an hour watching it 😮
@YuppyGames I followed trouble shooting and video step by step but my mobling will not connect with obs, my forwarding system is different from yours Becuase my internet service has me use devices as forwarding like my pc and apple.
So it’s fine to port forward with my pc, so should I use 1935 as internal and 4455 for external connection?

Damn literaly all I need to get a paragliding stream going. Did you show how to connect your gopro/osmo action cam?
I did not show it but if you look up how to livestream from your GoPro or osmo then they should allow for Custom RTMP and that is where the ending link would go the same link you would stream from your phone.
Awesome Video! I liked and Subscribed!
I am running into an issue though. My phone wont connect when its not on the network. I checked the Public IP 100 times and its correct. I even tested the port from my phone while not on the network and it says Port 1935 is open. Not sure what else to try. Im sooo close. lol.

@@lilzee_tv I had the same issue too! thank gosh for this comment section!
So i must leave my PC on, right? But if i travel to other city, can i start the stream there? or i must start my stream at home first
So as long as you have the setup done correctly you can start it from anywhere using the OBS Blade app.
Ran into two issue and I need some
Help😢,
1. No matter how I troubleshoot I cant open the firewall for the RTMP server whether or not I change the config file to make sure the port codes are 4455 and 1935
How do I go live on Twitch and play games in the first half of my stream, and then switch to my irl stream set up without ending my stream?
All you would do is when you want to IRL just run NoAlbs and NGINX as long as you were streaming desktop on the OBS that the irl setup is on as well, this is how I usually stream
MY hp laptop is 2011 and i cant Nvidia control panel to open anymore on my old hp laptop do i absolutely need it to stream to my laptop for obs and and everything. After i updated my laptop to windows 10 i dunno what happened to graphics. So please any help with the 3d part would help.
If your laptop doesnt have a Graphics Card in it then I am not sure you can livestream from it. So... I dont think its possible sadly.
Stuck on Lua51.dll not found!!! cant run Nginx.exe
@@Flaymeyawn Try the process again especially with the git installation as if it is not done 100% exact it sometimes wont work and cause errors.
Whenever i port forward my internet gets super slow on all my devices, is there a fix for this?
I am really not sure... I have never heard of this as Port Forwarding should not effect internet speeds at all.
Also for Twitch you can setup the Twitch section in the Config, however that is just for mods manually switching the scenes, otherwise for streaming you just livestream to Twitch from OBS how you normally would.
noalbs is not staying open for me at 33:40 its opening for a second an then its closing
That means that something is wrong in your Config, try to check your config letter for letter with my tutorial as if there is anything missing or a space in the wrong spot it will all not work.
The one that i’m waiting is on the gopro side
GoPro works the same way. Using the GoPro Quik app you livestream to custom RTMP with the url I explain in the video and you go live. I recommend shutting off saving the stream to the GoPro too so it doesn’t fill the sd card storage.
Thanks will try it later😊
@@YuppyGames i followed every steps but i got "NOALBS ERROR {user=71529}:switcher" when i tried to livestream , what might be my mistake? thanks
Thank for the swift respond😊
Is there a way to get TTS on Moblin with just iPhone
Sadly no, Iphone themselves limit 3rd parties so getting TTS doesnt work sadly. Apple sucks sometimes.
Would this work on MacBook Pro M1 Chip ?
This setup is for windows, so sadly you would have to figure out how to get it working for an Apple device which I dont have any idea of right now.
how can i schedule the stream?
If you connect OBS Blade and leave your PC on then you can start your stream whenever you want meaning you can start on a schedule as long as you do it manually.
My noalbs isn't showing the noabls: : Switcher: Scene switch. Is that why it's failing to connect? Please help Ive been at this for hours.

Will this work with ipv6 cgnat adresses?
I am not sure honestly
Is there a reason why you arent using SRT?
I dont know much about SRT and this works perfectly fine without any issues.
Hey, perhaps someone can help me? I've filled in everything correctly including the port forwarding, but I still don't get any image, only when I enter the IPv4 address. I've also checked if the firewall settings were correct, and they were. Any ideas?

TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES
- If your phone will not connect to your PC go to this website: www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ change the port to 1935 make sure Nginx is running in your Task Manager and click Check on the website, if it says your port is open you are good, if it says its closed then you are not. Make sure the port numbers are correct, should be 1935 and 4455 if its not then change those and save it then run that file and check again.
Check that and let me know.
my have another router for portforwaring but my ip say that i have another router? @@YuppyGames
Can someone show me how to do this with an Xfinity router and help understand their Port Ford warding FAQ section they have please 🙏! So I can do this

can port forwarding mess up anything in my router because i can do it i just dont wanna break my router
No it cant really mess anything up. The only thing I will say is that it does allow outside connections in. But nothing that a router reset cant fix exactly. The main important thing is dont ever let anyone see your Public IP address. Otherwise you are fine tons of people have used this and set it up already. :D
where do i find the set up for IRL Pro?
i watched and did all the steps till minute 36 and then he explained it only for apple :( :( :( i need still help on setting it up for android (IRL PRO) please help

can this still work if you cant get into you router settings?

How do we do this all on MacOS?
I dont know how you would do this on Mac sorry, I have never messed with it.
i have a problem with the port fowarding i guess, can i pay u to help me in discord or something plz?
Do you need wifi/mobile data on your phone to live
You need some sort of internet yes. Doesnt have to be wifi but it has to be able to access the internet.
