    Hey good job on your fabbing. I’m a machinist for the past 35 years and I’d higher you in my shop no problem.. a small tip though, pardon the pun, is to slow down the speed of your drill press for the hole saw, I know changing the belts sucks but your drills will cut better and last longer. (Do this also for your larger twist drills too.) I hope this helps.

      Appreciate the kind words man🤘🏽next time I’ll give that shot. That was the first time I used that drill press so I’m still new to it. Thanks for the info!

    Yukon and Motive Gear are the top two on gears just remember to get the full installation kits for the front and rear.

    Revolution gear all the way!! I have them in my cherokee. Been in there for over 2yrs. It was a simple install. They are really quite. And they run smooth. They really took care of me when I called to order my gears they talked me through selection of the gears I needed bc I wasn't sure. Super helpful people over there. I really couldn't say enough good stuff about Revolution gear and their customer support

      Thanks for the insight, heavily considering going with them. No problems with Yukon, I just like to try new brands every build.

    Use pvc the same
    Size as the tube u plan on using to eliminate for links and steering etc so that you can minimize waste, looking good tho! Good job

    Heard lots of bad reviews of Yukons quality gone way down hill, I have always used revolution gear and have had good luck with them for years

    Dude you have a bright future. Start you own small shop and seek parts. I’ll definitely buy and support you. For starters I need a xj swap truss for 2005 super dookie axles f/r and high steer arms😊

    A Question Are you thinking of making the Stroker 4.6 Golden Stroker engine? I wonder why it will surely be more fun and you will have more power and torque to move those tires. What do you think :) .

    • @backcountrybeagles
      @backcountrybeagles  7 місяців тому

      We will for sure be doing something with the 4.0/an engine swap. 4.6 is on the table but I got some other ideas that would be alittle more interesting 🧐

    • @Angels22
      @Angels22 7 місяців тому

      @@backcountrybeaglesOkay I leave my opinion why I would like to see that 4.0 revive and have more life with that Stroker 4.6 supercharger don't lose it I just leave ideas 😂

    Question on the one inch bolt choice, do you think drilling out the stock tie rod hole to one inch removed a lot of extra meat causing the stock cast piece to be weakened around the drilled hole ? maybe a 3/4" bolt is a good compromise. Love the videos keep up the good work

    • @backcountrybeagles
      @backcountrybeagles  7 місяців тому

      I thought about this for AWHILE. Finally came to the conclusion that there is still a lot of meat left around that old tie rod hole after drilling for 1”…..I’m no engineer but I’m sure it will be okay, but time will tell.

    Your video and audio is really good! Idk if it’s just you running the show but maybe look into marketing your videos on UA-cam to pull in a bigger audience. I’ve watched worse video and worse audio on much bigger channels. Great job!!

    What cut oil?

    • @backcountrybeagles
      @backcountrybeagles  7 місяців тому

      “Mach blue goo”. Picked it up at Lowe’s. I guess it’s more of a “lubricant” than an oil.
