  • What’s inside these rocks? Let’s find out together! In this video, I’m diving back into my most popular series to cut open even more random rocks and see what hidden treasures lie within. Will we find stunning crystals, unique patterns, or just plain ol’ disappointment? The only way to know is to grab your favorite beverage (or snack, because this is serious business) and watch as I slice into these mysteries of nature.
Get ready for some surprising reveals, a little bit of science, and a whole lot of rock-loving fun. If you enjoy seeing what’s hidden inside random rocks, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to keep the adventure going!

Your random rock cutting videos are tempting me to acquire a 10 inch rock saw myself. You get to have the immediate satisfaction of knowing what's in them, and I seemingly lack the patience to drive an hour to the rock shop to have mine cut. Sigh.

My husband found me a 10 inch wet saw on Marketplace. Got it last weekend and was so excited cutting open 3 of my thunder eggs. One was a geode and the other two had solid quartz. Got the garage pretty wet with those so we are waiting until it's warmer to pull it outside to open more rocks up. I love watching your videos!

I also love cutting random rocks....a lot.... I had quite a few before cutting them in half, but after cutting them in half I REALLY has a huge pile of them.... I gave some away, but some I just couldn't part with....my husband was like, what are u gonna do with them... I had no idea at first...but then....WAM....idea... and it worked. I took my favorites and cut them into thinner slices, had my husband build me 2 forms to pour 2 concrete slabs to fit my L shaped office desk. I inset them in the concrete leaving just a 🤏 space between them. Kinda like tile has. Once the concrete was set, I put a little over 1/4 in. Of epoxy over it, let it cure then polished and buffed it.... it looks amazing.....

I'm still cutting my first rock. I don't have a fancy sophisticated piece of machinery like you, I just use a kitchen knife. I cut everyday a little more.

These are a really fun series of videos. I think you might need to set your white balance to correctly get the colors though. Especially at 9:20 it shifts all over the place. I really enjoy your content and look forward to more of these.

As as I've said before, I don't know rocks - but really, what I'm calling Rusty Colored Lump Rock at 6:10 has to be one of my favorites. Again, Ariel - fantastic knowledge, amazing energy. Thank you for sharing.

You can easily tell the difference between quartz and calcite by using vinegar and a q-tip. Calcite will fizz with vinegar and the quartz will not because it's much harder.

The green one at 5 minutes, 8 seconds looks like malachite or chrysacolla. I could be wrong. Chlorite and celadonite can have similar green blue colors.

highly recommend investing in some hydrochloric acid if you don't have any yet - calcium bubbles when in contact with it, so it could help you identify calcite easily

This video has been heavily modified to make to stones she is selling on Etsy appear much more colorfully than they are in reality. if you watch this video between 9:15 and 9:25 you can watch the color of the stone, and her hands go from green to pink to orange and then back again. nice video but a little disingenuous.
