Will we find stunning crystals, unique patterns, or just plain ol’ disappointment? The only way to know is to grab your favorite beverage (or snack, because this is serious business) and watch as I slice into these mysteries of nature.
Get ready for some surprising reveals, a little bit of science, and a whole lot of rock-loving fun. If you enjoy seeing what’s hidden inside random rocks, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to keep the adventure going!

Thanks for watching! These random rocks will be on my Etsy within the week!
NO PROBLEM!!
Your random rock cutting videos are tempting me to acquire a 10 inch rock saw myself. You get to have the immediate satisfaction of knowing what's in them, and I seemingly lack the patience to drive an hour to the rock shop to have mine cut. Sigh.
My husband found me a 10 inch wet saw on Marketplace. Got it last weekend and was so excited cutting open 3 of my thunder eggs. One was a geode and the other two had solid quartz. Got the garage pretty wet with those so we are waiting until it's warmer to pull it outside to open more rocks up. I love watching your videos!
Wow, there were some beauties in those random rocks! So fun!! ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
I've been enjoying your random rock splitting in half so much. Well the algorithm shows me your previous video about random rocks. I Love your reactions soo much and I'm just delighted with all the beauty hiden on those rocks. I'll be following you from now ✌️😎
I also love cutting random rocks....a lot.... I had quite a few before cutting them in half, but after cutting them in half I REALLY has a huge pile of them.... I gave some away, but some I just couldn't part with....my husband was like, what are u gonna do with them... I had no idea at first...but then....WAM....idea... and it worked. I took my favorites and cut them into thinner slices, had my husband build me 2 forms to pour 2 concrete slabs to fit my L shaped office desk. I inset them in the concrete leaving just a 🤏 space between them. Kinda like tile has. Once the concrete was set, I put a little over 1/4 in. Of epoxy over it, let it cure then polished and buffed it.... it looks amazing.....
Absolutely love your videos! Your enthusiasm is infectious and I get as excited as you when you cut open various rocks. Rock on girl 👌❤
The ones with colorful spots look like an impressionist painting up close
I'm still cutting my first rock. I don't have a fancy sophisticated piece of machinery like you, I just use a kitchen knife. I cut everyday a little more.
These are a really fun series of videos. I think you might need to set your white balance to correctly get the colors though. Especially at 9:20 it shifts all over the place. I really enjoy your content and look forward to more of these.
Yes I moved to a new studio and I’m still trying to figure out the lighting. Any tips would be much appreciated!!
What camera are you using?
you have THE best personality
Bubbly!
It's so fun to watch your channel, I love rocks! Funny, I also have that exact same clock that you have by your saw Mine is always falling down which results in the battery door flying off. Lol.
Haha yupp! I always have my taped 🤣
Your videos are so cool. I don't know which I enjoy more the content or how animated your facial expressions are. Awesome job on your videos!!
As as I've said before, I don't know rocks - but really, what I'm calling Rusty Colored Lump Rock at 6:10 has to be one of my favorites. Again, Ariel - fantastic knowledge, amazing energy. Thank you for sharing.
Love your videos, glad to see your enthusiasm hasn't wained
Thanks so much! I have so much fun making them!
Beautiful. Much fun. Thanks
2:04 with those stripes it looks metamorphic. Something granite-like that was partially melted and recrystallized
NEVER GONNA MIS A AGATE ARIEL UPLOAD
sorry I was a bit late today bc my mom dad and my sister are sick so I have to care for them
I’m so sorry to hear that! I hope they feel better soon!
Beautiful Agates ❤❤❤
You're so fun and cute! Love your positivity!
I bought a 6 inch rock saw, and I really need to use it more! You inspired me to cut some cool rocks I am curious about😉😁👍
These videos are so fun! Can you link the saw that you use?

Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Ariel, always fun.
Too much fun you have❣️
Hey Ariel! Do you ever cut open rocks sent in by fans? We found a really interesting agate and wanted to see what's inside. I sent pictures to your Etsy if you want to look at it!
So cool Ariel! Great video!
11:00 That is fossilized 1980s Cinema carpet
Hahaha this made me literally lol 😂
Polish them!!! More times then not i find myself polishing random rocks I've cut open vs the pile of pet wood that needs to get polished 😅
Hands that close to a moving sawblade still freaks me out.
Awesome video, awesome channel 👏
Some nice rocks. You could slab and cab a couple of them at least.
Cool random rocks 👍
I always hold my breath when your fingers are so close to the blade! Your courage is just as big a gift as when we see the inside of these amazing rocks!
It’s a grinding blade so it wont cut my fingers off ☺️
love your videos
Thank you so much!
How much of a nerd am I that I either saw stars or stained specimens? I literally saw a lung like rock and a kidney one (without the usual structures of course) someone broke my brain
Do you have a small Dremel-esque saw you'd recommend for small rocks?
I'd love to see you split some tumbled rocks . Love from Victoria Australia ❤
i would like to suggest we name the dotty rock a hundreds and thousands rock (they are sprinkles that are round)
also the thumbnail rock looks like a mouldy chicken breast Dx
You can easily tell the difference between quartz and calcite by using vinegar and a q-tip. Calcite will fizz with vinegar and the quartz will not because it's much harder.
When you cut open rocks how do you decide what direction to cut in?
The green one at 5 minutes, 8 seconds looks like malachite or chrysacolla. I could be wrong. Chlorite and celadonite can have similar green blue colors.
You should check if anything is UV reactive (at least longwave is recommended)
A couple of them kinda looked like little galaxies
@ 7:15 looks like a petri dish culture
It totally does!!
Brown bumpy one the forth, I think. Maybe a dinosaur bone?
Can you estimate how many tons of stones have already passed through your hands? the number might surprise even you😅
Thanks for sharing 😊
highly recommend investing in some hydrochloric acid if you don't have any yet - calcium bubbles when in contact with it, so it could help you identify calcite easily
hello
i was not on ur channel for a while but how are you doing??
5:44 petrified poo?
that big one reminds me of lichen :]
12:57 You know what else is massive?
Love the added clock to show how long it took to cut the stones. Suggestion....Oolitic is 3 syllables and doesn't have a "d" in it
I know it’s such a bad habit I have saying it that way 🙈
You dropped this can I have it?📌
This video has been heavily modified to make to stones she is selling on Etsy appear much more colorfully than they are in reality. if you watch this video between 9:15 and 9:25 you can watch the color of the stone, and her hands go from green to pink to orange and then back again. nice video but a little disingenuous.
preety!
brains
need moar
Terrible..... Please , how would you look after millons of years 😂😊
What besides weight made you think "meteorite"? Looked like your garden variety river bed tumbled pebble to me.
Buy something worth cutting and taking up My time.
