Hey, guys! can you PLEASE do a video relating to how to plan a day when you have a wheelchair? the Disney experience is different for people like me with physical disability. can you talk about accessible rides? thanks!
Disney does a phenomenal job, for wheel chair accessibility. For rides they’ll often have you load in a secret section of the attraction before the other guests get to sit down.
I think it depends on your ability to transfer from the wheelchair to a ride vehicle. We recently went and had someone in our group using an ECV. The only time we loaded in a separate area was on Rock n Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios and Spaceship Earth in EPCOT. The rest of them we loaded with other guests as normal. The only exception to this might be Thunder Mountain and Kilamonjaro Safari, but she could walk a small distance to board, so we just went through the old fast pass lane on Thunder and parked the ECV in the stroller area on Kilamonjaro. Some rides you may have to transfer to one of their wheelchairs to go through the normal line (Pirates of the Caribbean, Rock n Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror) but she was able to take her ECV through most lines. We also only had one time (Thunder Mountain) where we were given a return time. But all cast members we worked with were patient and very helpful with information! I hope this helps.
I think this is a great idea for a video. It could be inclusive for people with physical disabilities that need mobility aides of different types, and potentially videos on how to plan a Disney day for people with other disabilities.
I have an ECV. They are really good at accommodating. All of these replies are true. My advice is a backpack. And a lot of hydration powder.it’s really easy to dehydrate sitting in the sun.
I WISH my clam chowder bread bowl looked like that when I recently ordered Spoon for One More. The soup was literally 2 bites because the bread bowl only had a small hole carved out- nothing like what you have in the video here. I was so sad
This happened to us over at Universal when my husband got the Guinness stew at Leaky Cauldron. He LITERALLY finished the stew in 3 bites. Disappointing 😕
Yes! :D For years I've eaten only while watching DFB food videos. Helps to control overeating. I just wish she still did food videos. It's still called Disney FOOD Blog, but she rarely does food videos anymore. They're all about hotels and rides and junk, rarely about food anymore.
I love these videos and the newsletter. Thanks for always keeping me up to date. FYI: I think the sip-abration drinks are sold out across parks. Every time I ask at a restaurant, they say they can’t get the supplies in and they’ve been out of stock since around October 4th.
Disney really needs to offer more dye free desserts for those of us with dye allergies. I feel like everything is completely overloaded with artificial food coloring. I’d be eternally grateful if there was a list of top 10 dye free Disney desserts.
Yes, they should stop using food dyes because some people are allergic. They also should stop using nuts and dairy and eggs and wheat because some people are allergic. And they should stop using strawberries, because that's another common allergy. And they should stop using chicken, seafood, hot dogs, and soy because those allergies are also quite common. And they should stop using sesame, coriander, and mint because they are increasingly common allergies. And they should stop using guava, corn, tomatoes, apples, bananas, coconut, and avocados because some people are allergic. And they should stop using water, because some people are allergic to water. And they should cover the entire park in an opaque dome because some people are allergic to sunlight. Seriously, stop being such a Ron Desantis and trying to outlaw anything that you happen not to like. Let people eat what they want, and if you don't want that blue cupcake, no one is going to hold you down on the ground and shove it down your throat. Those blue cupcakes are much too expensive to waste them on someone who doesn't want one.
@@stephencoldbear you must be a pretty miserable person to have spent that much time typing out your lengthy snarky response making fun of me. I’m not trying to outlaw anything. I’m just saying that 95% of their desserts now have food coloring in them and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find safe options. Try having a little empathy for people with allergies…have you ever had to work around a serious or life threatening allergy? My guess is no, so take a seat.
This video has definitely made me want to be able to go to DisneyWorld so much more now. I’ve only been to Disneyland, and I have never been to DisneyWorld.
She already does that in every video. She always tells what's in every food. Just watch the videos. She's constantly saying "plant-based" in every video (even though that's a meaningless word since cows eat plants that we can't eat, turning them into food that humans can eat, and the resulting meat is closer to the original plant than most of that so-called "plant-based" food)
Most of these look like eye candy with sprinkles and frosting more than interesting and delicious food. Glad other people like them and are excited for them.
My cronut was a letdown as well- cold, oily, rubbery- lacked the crisp, flaky texture that would do it justice. Perhaps would be better fresh or made to order.
Just got the list emailed to me. I'm honestly considering trying MOST of this list. Between my mom, son, and myself sharing, we should have no problem!
Hi! Wanted to let you know the snow white dole whip is listed under friar's nook in the download, you said in the video at storybook treats! Just wanted to let u know :)
Great list. Especially the Orville Sundae As for Orville- Why is it that the final Christmas scene only has place settings for 6 around the dining room table? There are 7! Is Orville not invited? Laura
We just had the cronut donut on Wednesday Nov 3rd at Epcot Brewing… I was SO hyped for this as I had never had a cronut. Well, It was extremely stale and hard to chew, like rubber. It was so bad we ended up throwing 2/3’s of it away. I loved all the other foods we tried that day. But I was never let down so hard before with the Cronut…
