Can you still be struggling with sin if you are saved?
How much you stumble in your walk with the Lord is not a matter of salvation it’s a matter of maturity.
John says: “I write to you little children because your sins are forgiven you…”
You were born again and you are a baby learning to walk, what baby doesn’t fall?
Does any Father say, “not my kid” when their child stumbles in its learning to walk? Is God not so much more perfect than even the best earthly Father?
The Father delights that His child is moving toward what it’s nature demands, it WANTS to walk but it hasn’t yet fully comprehended how.
The Father says, “come to DADDY,” thrilled with His child’s first steps.
Now if the child has become a young man and Falls as much as a baby, or refuses to walk at all, something is amiss
Thats why John says: “I write to you young men because YOU have OVERCOME the wicked one.”
If you continue with the Lord you can, have, and will overcome sin
If you have no desire to walk free of sin then you don’t have His Spirit in you and you are not born again, or you have WILFULLY sinned and seared your conscience. In which case you need to cry out for deliverance and repent, the bible says that is a VERY dangerous place.
The mistake we make is running from God when we fall instead of running to Him.
When we run away the devil finds us and says “you aren’t a child of God at all you are a hypocrite and a liar.” His Condemnation leads to death
Conviction is different: When we run TO God our advocate Jesus Christ says, “I paid for this, your faith has made you whole, go sin no more.” And our gratitude Propels is because His goodness leads to genuine repentance.

I've struggled with porn addiction for about 15 years now I was exposed to it young I knew of Jesus and was baptized but I was so consumed by it until recently that Jesus spoke to me in my heart to stop this addiction and come to him. I accepted him into my heart and asked for repentance. It was the best decision I every made! Thank you Jesus! Yes I have fallen time to time but it is getting easier to stop in Jesus name!

I was deliberately sinning and willfully sinning after accepting Christ at 14 or 15 I did some pretty evil stuff and I never truly knew what repentance meant and I knew what I was doing was wrong. I’m currently 23 and I regret hurting my Heavenly Father for years and months I never want to sin again I finally understand repentance and it is to change your mind about sin and forsake sin the fear of the Lord is to hate sin. I am 15 now and ever since the covid pandemic ended and I went back to school I did the same thing, and I just feel so worried that I cant be forgiven man. I want to get right with God but i was so afraid that I didn't even repent because I thought god would say "no" and leave me.😔 I always say to myself every now and then, "a life without God is no life for me at all" yet I still sinned again and again and I'm so sorry for it all😭

The Lord forgives us our sins if we repent of them: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Also, stay focused on God. Not on things of this world (video games, money, fame, etc). These things are merely distractions and are insignificant. Do not love the world either! I'm stuck on sin, sometimes I willfully sin. But I always go to God for help, but sometimes I just don't feel guilty of sorry I just say it. Pray for me to overcome sin and become closer to Jesus 🙏
I feel that same way at times like all I feel at times is like I didn’t do anything wrong and I hear that’s a dangerous place to be like. Don’t want to keep doing it but I am afraid I’m not forgiven even though I now the word of God and says that I am. It’s like tormenting. I want to do what is right and even with this same sin as before, it was easier for me to cut it off but now it feels so different. I feel like I am just out of control at times and I hate that. I get what you’re feeling and saying. I pray God renews in you a new heart and strength to not keep running after it over and snd over like myself.

Ive struggle with procastination and lazyness i never felt like this in my life . I never see myself lazy until now that im trying to walk with the Lord i struggle a lot with the bible falling into the world over and over again . Idk how to explain this , i overcome some of my sins in the past , i have no desire on doing but now im struggling with lazynes , procastination , distraction , this is the big 3 , fear , doubt . I just sinned again after a long time I got out of that sin , I felt awful and sad I let my Lord down. And I just prayed and repent, out of no where he told me "I forgive you, go back and sin no more", and I thanked him for always listening to me and helping me. When you sin it's easier to get out by praying for Jesus Christ, that's important!

Everyone please pray for my brother. He just got caught by my parents for doing drugs at school and in our own house. I have tried several times to help him follow God and not the World. It’s his choice in the end and all i can really do is keep praying. His is only 15 years old. Just barely, technically 14. He has his whole life ahead and he’s willing to give into lust, addictions, drugs, curse words, bad grades. Please please pray for him and pray for my mom to mentally heal from finding out Abt this. I just sinned again for the idk, millionth time or something.. i hate my lustful feelings. It is going better and better and i avoid it more and more.. even if it's baby steps.. but i often fall back into it.. i hate it but i keep doing it..the only difference is with years ago is that i do it less. Porn is so dangerous.. please forgive me Lord. I was aware i looked it up, clicked it away but moments later i went back.. i hate this. Please Father let me grow further as a Christian. The worst is when you accidentally glimpse and then purposely gaze a little bit longer before looking away. It's like I know what I'm doing and the devil really shows his hatred towards me in those moments where I'm doing what I don't want to do but he condemns me, effectively making it so I have "no reason" why I cannot give in to it now. It's horrible. I am ultimately glad though. The suffering from Satan's tactics are really making me hate that sin more, slowly making it easier to trust in God during those moments and just shut it out of my life. If you can start to find joy in that suffering the devil will start to completely lose his power over you and you will begin to laugh at his attempts. He means that suffering to destroy us, but God means it to work patience and longsuffering in us. I am convinced that one of the greatest gifts of God is the joy that is found IN the suffering, which is grace. However much sin abounds, grace abounds that much more. This is the great joy and hope we have in the living God who knew us before the foundation of the world, in Christ Jesus, who is Faithful and True. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

I made a mistake my anxiety become my idol fear paralyzed me. I tried to fix things but I don't know how. My mental illness is hindering me. I felt bad for lying...I felt bad for sinning it make me depressed. I cried to God every time I fall. I'm not perfect. I'm still sinning. I fear for my salvation, and it pains me to sin. I ask the father, and the son for forgiveness, and plead for the holy spirit to guide me. I do feel comfort in the fact that I'm worried about sin as a non Christian wouldn't care at all. My faith is weak at times, and it is small in its adolescence, but God says with the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains. "God help me in Jesus name i pray 🙏 amen".

There’s a couple bottom lines here. #1. A baby needs to grow up and will make several mistakes until they grow up, some more than others. 2. The parent will correct their children to teach them right from wrong, and that instills a reverence and fear in the child. Yes a fear, when my dad pulled off his belt, I feared! #3. Sin must not be ever looked at as, no big deal! It took one sin to bring death into the world over all of mankind. It took one sin for King Saul to have God replace his Holy Spirit in Saul, with a evil spirit! Sin must be resisted with all your strength, and never looked at as a thing you can keep doing because you are under grace! God will reprove and correct you many times, but fear, and don’t harden your heart, because the word says, he who is often reproved and hards his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy! When you learn the fear of the Lord, you stop sinning, and resist sin with every once of strength in you, and not only that, you hate sin, and it breaks your heart every time you sin! Because you love God so much, it hurts you to do anything that dishonors him! So what do we should all learn as we mature spiritually, is the fear of the Lord! For by the fear of the Lord, men depart from evil!

IBut I heard the lord call me to show him love and help thru long suffering and to encourage him so that to keep fighting against it bc I saw he didn’t want to give in he was always ashamed and he always asked for forgiveness. I fight in prayer for him and my heart to forgive to show mercy Love to speak life over him and not accusation. Then I saw him transform and do this less and less and it’s been almost a year of him giving in to addiction where before it was every other week then every month or few months or if we got in an argument. He was letting some brothers in church know and asking for help so I’ve witnessed him change in growing in purity❤ but I’ve seen my heart grow softer and stronger in trust and hope in the Lord.

I have been struggling with an addiction for a while now I'm embarrassed to admit it yet I still do it I have been praying but I have not been putting in the effort for my prayer to be heard and that changes now. My mighty Lord I know I have said this a million times but I am sorry for my actions my actions are what prevent me from finding freedom I pray you can help me along my journey to become free of this addiction in the mighty name of Jesus I pray amen
