This is such an audience participation song with the punchy chorus and that drum. I was at their Copenhagen show in november and they played this. Video wasn't out yet, so few people knew the song, but that chorus and the drum, plus Jennifer just having the audience in the palm of her hand... It was fantastic.
Loved your reaction Lee, Beyond the Black are great and have some good songs. Jennifer Haben has a great voice and is gorgeous too. A recommendation is "Beautiful Lies"... Great song. 🤘🤘 EDIT: I love Battle Beast and Beast in Black and I've enjoyed your reactions to their songs, but have you heard of a band called Induction? They sound pretty similar and are fairly new, I'd recommend "Go to Hell", " Queen of the Light", and "Fallen Angel". 🤘🤘
LOL I was beginning to wonder how they got their name, but then I saw a couple of guys in the band that look like they *might* be old enough to remember Metal Church.
One minor detail. Jennifer is the only original member of the band. She and the original lineup parted ways in the summer of 2016. Kai (the drummer), Tobi (the rhythm guitarist), and Chris (the lead guitarist) all came on board shortly after the original lineup and Jennifer split. In "BtB 2.0", there was also a keyboardist (who left in early 2018)...and a bass player, Stefan, who left in early 2021. Right now, they are using a hired gun on bass when performing live (or, put another way, they haven't brought on a permanent bass player...yet. Though, I'm kind of waiting and hoping for them to ask me)...and a bit of backing tracks for keyboard parts (though, Jennifer does occasionally play some parts live). And, yes, I am a bit of a fan...having seen them 12 times live now...most recently Oct 2022 in Munich.
