Craig Tarbox, Mac and Bravo, Dan.... just want to say thank you for helping Jamie D. He has helped me on my vansion, and so I'm glad that people are thinking of him and helping him.
Getting this things fix is right up your alley. Will be like brand new and ready to roll. Prayer go out to you getting it re-inspected. So amazing of the guys helping on the windshield. Great people. Enjoyed and thanks.
So Jamie I was gonna send you this before. But my center break light on my tahoe had gone out and I just went to the junkyard and got one that was still working. It's a lot less than getting a new one.
JFC...I think I'll keep my home base in Alabama. That is so ridiculous. I just spent $500 to get full tune up on my gmc Savana and ac fixed and almost fainted Then $700 for the same on my Isuzu Rodeo including new radiator. I figure I'm good for years now😂😂😂 Still haven't figured out why the Altima keeps burning coils though. I'm headed to Colorado Monday morning to stay until the End of September. I do have something to tell you. I did the whole van build including my 200 watt solar setup, wiring and all, by myself. Thank you❤ for your videos. You and Bob started me on my journey almost 4 years ago.
I certainly hope you ARE good for years, jhemmes1. That Altima still has me perplexed. Burning coils would most commonly be a sign of more voltage than the coil is rated to handle. Starting with an OEM coil and using a multimeter with contact points from the coil to the distributor, we should see a reading of 12 volts. Loose connections can be a cause of over-voltage also. Has the voltage been tested?
Hey buddy hell I blew an engine and had to dig deep to replace it with a brand new engine on my van the good news is you’ll be a lot safer with all your repairs and you saved hundreds by doing it yourself safe and happy travels brother 🥰🤗❤️👍
Mark! Thanks for YOUR support as well, buddy. Wow, shades of my skoolie breakdown. I guess this means your hanging on to that van for a while then, yes?
Blessed you are with mechanical skills beyond…just a few of your skills. Tenacity your middle name. If I had been confronted with what items to be repaired problee woulda said f it parked somewhere prayed someone would steal it 😂😂😂 I am a mechanics daughter eeeks my Pop just rolled over in his grave sorry Dad😂❤ you still amaze me after sooo many years of doing YOU 👍✅💥
No way to find out where the more lenient inspection stations are? It's not advertised, but some mechanics are better at working with you. Sounds like this guy is frustrated that he's not getting any money from you. Inspection stations lay in wait to make extra $$ off people. Hope it works out for you. After all you've done for others, Karma will surely settle up at some point.
Astute observation, 2Chimbleys. I agree with the inspector to replace wear parts but it becomes a slippery slope when inspection stations are incentivized to find parts out of tolerance, while the shop also sells the replacement services. When I arrived to drop off my vehicle, the shop had every bay filled and, coincidentally, a parts runner was dropping off brake pads and rotors (Based in the packaging) among other parts. My goal overall is to rise above this trivial B.S. Something I have to keep reminding myself.
Not a bad idea, orvaroth. Besides the frustration of the cost and delays, I'm at peace with the upkeep that's going into the Yukon. The windshield is total B.S. ~Cheers
Amen! Overcome is the right word. Jesus in Revelation 2 &3 says to the churches 7x repent & 7x overcome. It means to conquer. I’m trying to get a transfer case out of a 97 Yukon today. I need a new input seal as transmission fluid is leaking into transfer case. God bless you on overcoming. We are more than conquerors in Christ!
Good morning Becca and Jamie....have a wonderful Sunday 🌻
Hope everything is all good on the Maryland Front ☮️

🙂🙂🙂👍
Agreed, CC. I hope you are doing well these days.
Everyone hates inspections but the rig will be so much better and safe.
A warning for a freaking light? Can’t even find a cop for a burglary in most cities!
Hopefully it is a sign of low crime around here. lol

Thanks, Lean. I agree. Having great friends is making a big difference in getting things situated.
Yes please...waiting for the vehicle camera review. Keep putting one foot in front of the other...youre making progress.
Will do, lmlowe.
...Hey Mac...you da man!..
Thanks Jamie for the update on the progress 👍
Continued prayers 🙏 for a passed inspection 👍
Much appreciated, darryl. I believe the hard part is behind us on this. Next thing is emissions. Fingers crossed on that one.
That looks the same dash cam I have. It's a good one!
Good to see you get'n 'er done!

Is this DD?
Remind to never ever move to Maryland. Yeesh.
I mean, brakes and other safety stuff, fine. But the scratch in the windshield and the 3RD brake light. Gimme a break!
Safety takes good brakes, but the scratch doesn't match.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Francine!
Looks like things are coming together Jamie. I hope the inspector doesn't find something else he or she doesn't like.
As long as he fixes what the little fascist says, they cannot, by law, add to the list...
Amen, Johnny.
Good to know, wookiee.
Jamie, you got Maryland DMVucked!
Right? At least the law enforcement was understanding of the circumstances.
🙂🙂👍👍👍!
Get Arizona plate
👍👍✔️✔️👏👏

Well, some of that work really did need addressed. Brakes are of number one importance. Scratches in the windshield, not so much. Lol.
Same, freedomdove. I'm wrapping up the mechanical this weekend and looking forward to getting to work.
Ha! I was just thinking about you! I’m filming the dashcam as we speak!
@@enigmaticnomadics Sweet. I love my dashcam/rear cam setup. 👍
Ah yes, progress.
Hey, Dan! We're getting there.
This state is terrible, i lived there for 6 yrs ---renewed my DL and tag from az by mail. if stopped i was just visiting. Cheers

Great attitude! Agreed!
Sucks if you find yourself living in an inspection state.
Agreed, Robert. This is my first time dealing with this in years.
