I have the Trojan. I've found it pretty fun in an elementary school gym (about 1/2 the size of a regular gym), where theres just enough room for flying in a figure 8. It was a pretty easy build, but I think an absolute beginner might find the instructions not quite thorough enough. I have found that after landing hard the landing gear breaks at the little wooden T with the screws in it, it needs to be reinforced with that 2-sided foam tape. I'm happy with it, so heres my reccomendation.
@Joyplanes aut of all the MinimumRC planes taht you've flown, which would be the best for a beginner like me? (i have never touched a 4ch plane and have ONE 3ch plane)
Joyplanes RC 2 ah ok, I am a bit skeptical with such comments... bc many unscientific volks say such stuff, like FlatEarthers, anti vacc, creationists... etc... school taught me very much! Mainly that I should think for myself and to believe in science!
@@checkm8606 that's a good school then but science alone can't explain 100% of everything neither religion. You need to know a bit o everything and schools work within the parameters imposed by governments.
Check out from Banggood, the choice of the receiver does have different options; DSMX. FlySky, or FrSky. So to say, the answer is 'yes' ... choose the correct Rx for your radio system
thats a nice plane but it flies scary and the build is way to much. i'd prefer something the size of xk800 or fms fox 800mm. they are pretty small but have decent flight characteristics. instead of this one should get power up 3 or somthing
These MinimumRC micro planes, does need some skill to fly it well. As the Rx unit does not comes with any gyro in-built. It may not be suitable for a beginner flyer. Alternatively, the recently series of RTF micro planes from Eachine and Volantex are pretty good choice; they have quite decent Rx will good in-built gyro (stabilization unit) and is allowed to disable it in expert-mode, and the plane is make-up from EPP foam (a kind of crash proof foam) - recommended as beginner airplane.
i odered the pt17 kit but i didnt realize it didnt come with the receiver , battery or charger, so i ordered them. When they came , the servos and receiver connectors dont match and minimum rc says they dont sell servos with those connectors . I clearly did order thwese parts from them and when i emailed them they said they taske feedback seriosly. They sent me a second email verifying that they dont make mistakes and even though i asked for a parts list of the correct parts they again told me they didnt put those connectors on the servos. Well, i didnt put them on , thats for sure. These people are a joke and do not take customer fedback seriously .

Don’t believe anything they tell you in school is the greatest quote I have heard all year!!!

I would like to see someone build a rc version of the old balsa gliders
you should make smaller plane with magnetic servo .
What do you mean with 'don't believe the school'?
It means think for yourself, the whole system is a trap.

@@warmiceUT MinimumRC does sell a 1.5 gram gyro receiver now.
Great if you want a plane that is basicly a Walmart toy for approx. $140 !
就是我所想拥有的小型飞机!

Nope - Lipo battery
@@Joyplanes single cell? With a holder?!
@@Joyplanes if so, where do I get the holder, like, a 4 cell holdr
Lame! You can get a real RC plane with a flight stabilizer in 1/3rd the price! 😂😂
