That micro brushed motor was needed for the first plane. Plus that brushless did and will give massive torque roll with just the slightest of throttle. Nice job on the second plane with the correct power source. Now you could use a micro brushless like a 0802 that may have been much a better option.
You had the same luck I did with a micro receiver. The power wires broke free. I thought I had the right polarity and very carefully soldered them back in place. In the blink of an eye connecting the battery fried everything. I get my micro electronics either from Minimum RC out of China or MicroAces out of the UK.
2:40 where can I buy a receiver ? 2:10 also where to buy a servo so small no name no weight not specified....please attach a list of parts or links to purchase them
Just an fyi. You can buy a whole frsky mirco setup from banggood for really cheap. It has the micro rx, servos, esc, motor, prop. And i think lipo. I can link it if youd like
I'm working toward the same goal! I want a tiny plane to fly inside my house. Seems like 1 or 2 0802 brushless motors plus receiver, speed controllers, 2 1.7g servos, and a 300mah lipo is around 20g. Wish it were lighter still. :-(
Sorry to spoil your party but 20g is waaay to heavy for a living room flyer... you should aim for 8 to 10 grams. Parkzone Mini Vapor (8-9g): ua-cam.com/video/Rx8CN8EHwD4/v-deo.html Parkzone Vapor (16-17g, barely makes it in extreme high alpha): ua-cam.com/video/2SH8z7rSE5w/v-deo.html Note that 1 gram is a huge weight difference at this size ;)
The typo in the subject line should make your next project. You accidently said tow instead of two - i think it would be awesome to tow up a micro airplane with a bigger one and then release it.

Nicely done, seems the plane has to fly perfectly even without a motor. And when this is checked one can add the motor.

No problem if it doesn't negatively affect your center of gravity.
