@@heythere.shelby6782 i've seen the speed and power stats on a corso, i'm finding it hard to believe they have the same ability to endure as a malinois. I could be wrong....
Totally agree.... there's just about 20 seconds of how they are different.... "more drive and smaller"... yeah, we knew that already. Great photography but otherwise limited content.
@@NapoleonDynamite69 you’re NOT wrong. A Cane Corso maybe an impressive looking dog, but it will never have the drive of a Malinois nor the highly developed nervous system so necessary for personal protection work. I deal with the top provider of fully trained personal protection dogs in the U.S. Such dogs have to be both physically capable and 100% reliable. Only two breeds really fit bill. German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. Rottweilers are also good and he sometimes uses them for a person who is dealing with a specific threat such as a very large man. By and large though, even though Rotties are big and powerful, their nervous system is not as highly developed meaning they can handle less stress. In testing dogs for his program, my guy states that can get a a Rottweiler to back down more easily than he can make either a German Shepherd or a Belgian Malinois to back down.
My question is how do you get into showing dogs and handling them. I need to do some googling. I would love to see a video maybe on how to get into it? Like a side series if you had time or while you're interviewing these handlers ask them how they got into handling.
Start with a purebred dog with papers to register with the AKC. Locate one in your area. Go to training and conditioning sessions. Follow guidelines and register. Training is a must. Obedience. Know your dog for which specialty best suits the dog. There is also the show line. I love agility and sport. A dog with purpose has a happier life
Dont go to Carolina elte bullies he failed to sent my pup amd still owes me 1300USD AND WILL NOT REFUND ME iv got bank to bank receipts from me to him dont let this happen to you
Corsos need a good bit of obedience training if you want them to be completely proper. My girl is 9 now and hasnt needed to be on a leash since she was 2. They have a high prey drive and a very high food drive. But make no mistake, if you just want a dog to protect your family and property they need no real training for that. I have had a lot of dogs and currently own a Tibetan Mastiff as well. As far as an all around dog, the cane corso is very tough to beat
Can You interview Jeremy from Bulletproofpitbulls? If you haven't already heard of him you can watch his videos in this link....great video by the way man.
So ear cropping and tail docking is bad huh? Do you people know anything about the breed? Spaying and neutering is what? Ok? Corsos are big dogs.. when they get excited and wag their tail around.. which is often .. ur gonna have a lot of blood and damage on the tail.. which is worse for the dog. And as far as the ear cropping goes, they tend to get ear infections a lot.. cropping helps u air them out. Go learn before you judge others.
Disappointed with the very shallow contrast effort between the two breeds. One question, why is she working the dogs with the lease running back between their legs?
why in the heck do you put your dog's leash up her bum like that? 2:28 that is not some special method, in fact it is pretty bad for your dogs hygiene down there and makes your dog uncomfortable.
Am I the only one who noticed, that when the show ring enthusiasts run with their Dogs in the ring. It looks robotic and unnatural? Working Dogs are functional, no matter what blood, breed or fancy ears you want. The beauty of the canine is her inner purpose.
Why do Americans call it "Belgian Malinois"?? It's called a "Belgian Sheperd" OR a Malinois or even better a "Mechelaar" ... Malinois is French for Mechelen ... @ Inder Grewal Exactly, many floppy ear dogs get infections, but also secondary hemotomas on their ears, because they shake their heads so much. Nasty stuff. As a vet tech it was the most disgusting, smelly surgery ever. Google ear hematoma images- Yuck.
I kinda understand the show dog thing but I have two abandoned dogs that I have had since both were 4-5 weeks old. My old girl I found in a thousand acre pasture. My second that I pulled my truck in front of another vehicle is a bully breed which everyone wants to put into a pigeon hole. These dogs are 12 & 7 and have been with me basically their whole lives and I can depend on them with my life and they can work livestock because I taught them to do so. They are just rejects that watch out for daddy and listen to everything I ask

That is great and i really hope that is true, cause i see them in almost every dog video from the US that i see :( They also have made a "cover up" collar to put on the put on the outside of the prong so it is not showing..i am amazed.. Good training is all that is needed.. but people are sp lazy they want it fixed there and then.. really sad that it has to be like this.. 50% of dog owners should never have been allowed to own a dog..
Beautiful dogs but I have to post a wee bit of negativity. Cropping removes a lot of a dogs vocabulary, they use their ears to indicate whats on their minds which is very useful to read a dog. Not a fan of this human fashion, her dogs will never risk having an ear torn off. I'm also a bit sideways on the leash up the whizzer thing. Most uncomfortable, right up there with a prong collar. A lazy control/command technique. Any hoo, thanks for posting these great vids, you show some gorgeous dogs and I love to see owners so involved with them despite the occasional difference of opinion.
Mark Oliver A prong collar allows for less power to be used. You can't just slap it on a dog and the dog is all good now. You need to learn how to use it.
what about learn how to train a dog without it?? it is possible you know.. in scandinavia we have some of the best competitors in IPO , schitzhund etc.. and they have not used prong or e.collar.. It is illegal where i live.. for a reason.. and even without we are able to do great things.. and take a look at Nando Brown.. he is the best...
moirhann You need to use a specific dog when you want to compete in IPO or any competitive dog sport. Your choices are limited even farther when you try to use positive reinforcement for everything. I'm not saying it's impossible, but do not think all dogs can be trained in such a way because one professional trains his own dogs that way.
One question.. WHY can not all dogs be trained with only positive reinforcement? We are now best friends.. so please telle me WHY we can not use +R on all dogs ( as long as they are not having a brain tumor or are sick in any way cause they need to be put down or helped if they can - and should NOT be trained anyway)...
moirhann Simple. Pure positive reinforcement lacks consequences. The most I've seen is a lack of reward or a "time out". It doesn't do anything for the dogs that get joy from doing a bad behavior. If a dog enjoys jumping up for example, a treat may seem like a lesser reward. The dog may sit for the treat, but there is still no real consequences for jumping before or after sitting. Unless, for some reason you use a positive or negative punishment. Which would make "pure positive" false marketing.

cropping and docking is cruelty and should be banned.
Isabella Saxon there’s a reason for in it certain breeds, so you want your Corso to break its tail all of the time okay fucking jackass
Roberto Moore it wont break its fucking tail
