Whoa.. can't believe it's been a year since you put out this video. I'm revisiting now to get ideas for my own bed before I get laid off here in a couple weeks. Just want to be prepared and have a good project for the time off. Thanks Jake for sharing with us!
My favorite part was when you said send out the videos it’s all about helping each other. That’s what you tube and the inter web is truly about. Keep up the good work from your friends in Boston
Hey bud I applaude you for doing the build outside and in the dirt. I get so tired of people complaining they "don't have a shop" when guys like you and my dad, who built a '52 Ford Crown Vic in the dirt through 2 NM winters, get it done!
Can you do a video on what pipe schedules mean and how it effects the welding? Also im new to your channel but i have learned a lot. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Hey man just wanted to say I think it's cool what ya been doing to help people keep it up n ready to see what the new bed gona look like.. peace stay blessed
from where did you order the dually adapters and air bags? i got the same truck i want to turn it into a dually for a long time but i tough that i had to change the axel!
Same weather out here in Colorado lately. Who do you buy your dually kit from? Buildin a similar deal on my 94 k2500 but I'm buildin a treadplate flatbed for it. Thanks man. Always tuned in!
I've been waiting for this to start since you teased the truck. I'd love to hear about the minimum a person needs to have in order to come out and do the job. Aside from your own equipment, are you expected to be able to haul anything? What's the minimum for an acceptable welding machine? Things like that, for someone who starts with nothing (and obviously should have been looking for deals along the way, but here we are).
Aaron Cook i kinda have the same questions... does the truck need to be a dually, how much weight is put on the truck with the bed and the gear n welder the machine is averaging 1500 to 2000 lbs
If you put that bed on Craigslist somebody will buy it don't come pick it up I'm sure for around 5 to $600 at least and you can throw that money towards the bed
Jacob Schofield I thought you already had that Dodge. What truck have you been using? I LOVE your videos and positive attitude, by the way. I haven't fit in years, and it's wonderful to watch someone do the technical/mechanical aspect of it. I used to do pipefighting for boiler/water chiller applications, and always loved the end of the job when I got to make up the mechanical rooms. So technical, so precision. Miss it, but love building houses instead. Be blessed brother.
yes sir the black female is from a 4x GMPR her granpa is a hall of fame every one her line is titled except one dog in 4 generations. the male is the same way. they point upland (not flushing dogs) they hold point and come waterfowl its game on.
