You don’t have to get it together❤ that emotional reaction you have when you watch a sad movie/read a sad story, that’s your way of releasing the pain you feel in your own life without directly coming out and doing it during your own hard times. I relate to you so much because I was like that for so long when I took stronger antidepressants. They helped but I also felt numb to my own pains and couldn’t get tears out🩷
Thank you for posting this. It makes me feel less alone. A lot of the things you mentioned like waiting until the last minute to study for an exam and feeling like you're not doing enough, were feelings I've felt more times than I can count. I just want to say, I'm proud of you for giving it your best! You reminded me to keep trying even if I'm not seeing results right away. ❤

omg I’m literally bawling my eyes out rn bc I finally found someone on UA-cam who is on a self improvement journey that I can ACTUALLY relate to. I used to think that there was something wrong with me when I would see ppl progressing and improving so easily and it would so hard for me to do basic things like brush my teeth, pray, or get out of bed. May Allah SWT grant both of us the strength to make it through and achieve our goals that cause us anxiety daily. I’ll be making dua for you!🫶🏾
