How incredibly validating to have your experience at VKL spark such a positive domino effect within the comments and your friend groups, and to also be addressed by VKL as well… I must say I have been encouraged to pay closer attention to others in my social groups and to be their ally in a way that is approved *by them* when they are being misgendered and dead-named.
It takes so little energy to be kind and to stand up for others. I appreciate you touching on this topic again.

Oh no! Ray’s face when he realized the needle was wrong on the mitts! I agree with Kevin - if you got gauge, try it on and see if it works. It might not be an issue!!

Laughed out loud myself 😂 My handwriting can be a challenge and the Azores (Açores) are literally a dot on the globe and not many know they exist.
@@YarnStorieswithOlivia I live in south eastern MA, which has a huge population of Portuguese folks. All of our local markets stock Portuguese items. My kids grew up eating sweet bread, linguica, kale soup, Maria cookies, etc etc. It is such delicious food.

Nurses are super heroes. Every generation has their pandemic, epidemic or other issue to deal with. I started in 1981 and HIV was what we had to deal with. I empathize with all nurses especially now with COVID. When I think back it was still as serious and all of us should be recognized.

I LOVE both the Sockhead hat and Sockhead cowl. I always have one or the other on my needles at all times. It’s super calming knitting when I am having a touch of anxiety or I travel. Plus it’s a great stash buster. I usually knit a longer brim so I can double it over. Love the GNOME.

You can also try crocheting slip stitches around the neckline to bring it in. I've done this on a raglan sweater and it still kept the neckline stretchy enough to easily pull over my head. I love the Blue Footed Booby and Gnome !

When I was little, when all the other kids were into dolls and cars, I just wanted a garden gnome! I still love them, gnomes are just the cutest. I loved that show with David the gnome and he had a bird friend that flew him around .
