    You have a great machine and the perfect trailer for towing it, I would like to recommend the e-track system with tire bonnets or tire wrap straps, it is the most secure way to haul expensive UTVs. Once your set up is in place, it will be quick to load and tie down. Enjoy your machine and safe rides!!!

      Hello and Thank You, the E-trac is a great tie down system. The Mule has been a fun machine for me, and I use it daily on our property but once in a while it likes to see some new trails LOL.

    First thing I did after I bought my trailer was to cut the tailgate off. Built a custom wooden 6x10 inch removable board for the back of the trailer. Then bought a set of ramps. Warn winch. 2 spare tires. And the tool box from harbor freight. Both batteries fit perfectly. It would really suck trying to get one of those ATVs up on the trailer if one breaks down. Your lucky to have a winch on the front of yours. Nice video.

      Good evening and Thank You, it sounds like you set your trailer up right and I agree a broken machine would be tough to load these utv's are heavier than they appear LOL. Have fun out on the trails and Thanks for Watching

    I am enjoying your videos. Looking at getting a mule for our family. I haul some heavy equipment, tractors, skid steer, 4 wheelers etc. If I may suggest, weld some heavy D rings on to your trailer. Use 2 short chains with snap hooks to tie each rear corner of the mule down. Make the chains the exact length you need, drive the mule on to the trailer but not all the way up. Hook up the two rear chains (to the hitch chain loops) and pull forward to tighten them. Now use two 2” heavy duty ratchet straps to cinch down each front corner, get the ones with the snap hooks. Takes

      Good Morning Mark and Thank You . Thanks for the great advice I did install D rings and a couple of mods to the trailer after this trip was over . The Mule is 1900 pounds and I don't want it moving should there be a problem on the road . Thanks for Your Comment and

    I really like that trailer. My ramps are fixed and stick straight up. I feel like there costing me fuel economy with wind drag.

    Can't wait to see the Mule out on some trails! Really like that trailer too. I have a 14000lb 20ft deckover which a little overkill for hauling our Mule..lol. A trailer like yours would make a lot more sense. Safe travels, buddy. Look forward to seeing the action!

      Good Morning Josh , Wow with a trailer like yours we could haul 3 Mules and a couple of mini bikes 😁 That would be a road trip LOL . It would look good rolling down the Highway as well . Thanks for Watching

    Not good practice to tie the suspension down it would much better to strap tires down and let the suspension move freely while driving down the highway!

    I watch these videos and I'm amazed that people think it's okay to put all the weight ahead of the axle on the trailer, That is never a good idea and not proper loading.

    What do you think happens to that cable and strap every single bump you hit when your suspension compresses?

      Hey David, The Mule is a big machine to get strapped in. It is tough after riding and the suspension heats up too. Thanks for Watching

    You are going to damage your winch, it is not made to hold the UTV, it brakes the gears of the winch

    Another very helpful video. As I have not picked mine up yet, I have not had the opportunity to trailer it yet. Did you pull your front wheels up to the railing? As I have an FXR, shorter wheelbase, it will be different of course.

    • @AskDaddyjoe
      @AskDaddyjoe  Рік тому +1

      Thank you, yes, I have the front tires against the front rail, and since this video I installed D-rings in the trailer floor to help strap the Mule in better and the FXR will trailer nice for you.

    Really a bad job of securing your load. Suggest you check with your dealer on how to do the job correctly. You are going to kink your front cable. The strap you used is too lightweight for the load . It’s cheaper to pay from a really good strap then dealing with you load breaking loose and possibly killing someone. Not trying to be a jerk. If I saw you driving in front of me I would speed up to pass you so I would not be in harm’s way.

  • @arjaye1619
    @arjaye1619 11 місяців тому

    Never hook your winch cable or any other cable around itself, 100% NO NO. It will kink and ruin your cable and progressively loosen itself with each movement of the mule, especially when not using wheel tie down method.
