Absolutely in love with how seamlessly they blend Eastern and Western influences in the opening (and throughout the show): a classic Spaghetti Western showdown scene against an Asian aesthetic backdrop; so cool!
And later,Suki and Zuko become friends and help Aamg to save the world. Friendship in ATLA is the most wonderful fictional friendship ever in the world.
Really hate how they didnt adapted this in the live action, Zuko as morally gray as he is, he was a villain in book one and burning the island is one of the most evil things he did yet they chose to give that to Zhao in Netflix. I also wanted to see my boy taking the kyoshi warriors on his own but of course that wouldn't be girl bossing at all nowdays😒
@@samt.1356 I am gonna guess they are gonna skip out on the blind jokes with Toph too. Because it's "sensitive". It's with almost all these live action recreations
@@samt.1356it’s a live action they have to cut a lot of things because they can’t afford to copy it spot on it’s got nothing to do with people being sensitive tough guy
This same group of women later became Zuko's bodyguards.
They did ?

At 1:25 when Aang smacks Zuko with that gust of wind, Aang’s reaction seemed disappointed. As if he was hoping for a better fight. 😂
Wasn't it more of a "I am a pacifist and I just severly wounded/potentially killed the guy" type of reaction?
@@deinernst1235 It was a, "these fans are nice but I still prefer my glider" reaction.

The kyoshi warriors ate that entrance ngl
And then Zuko ate them up! 👍
0:49 ok that was hard

Facts
I know, people are so sensitive nowadays that it just ruins the characters growth in shows/movies. Actually, it just ruins entertainment in general

Can we at least agree that this is better than TLA?
@3:14 the intro goes hard
The music at the beginning during the buildup, then the beginning of the ambush was just...amazing
The live action, the soldiers came on foot and the avatar state was the kyoshi avatar used to defend the land
Suki and the Kyoshi warriors became Zuko's bodyguards

And Ty Lee.
After teaching the Kyoshi Warriors how to chi-block.
Zuko kinda mopped the floor with them tbh
Sometimes I mistake Kyoshi for Suki
here after episode 2
so in the live action the village doesnt burn and aang doesnt go on the animal to put water on the village
Here after watching Avatar LA S1 😂
Right 😂 I was watching like that didn't happen
so suki loses to the royal family twice
