Your thorough devotion to detail is admirable. I kept wondering when you'd get to the area around the door handle. Now I'm suspicious you were teasing us, lol. Can't wait to see the completed labor of love. 😎
You always amaze me Alexander and again I always learn something. Guess I’ve lived a sheltered life. I’ve never heard of this type of car, but it certainly is unique and I’m sure it’ll be a beauty when you’re finished with it. Much luck to you. Hope it goes welland doesn’t more than necessary
That title is hilarious. My uncle and 3 brothers are all mechanics. They can tear down and fix anything. My 1/2 brother thought the oil refill was through the dipstick. 🤔 I had to show him where the cap is, OIL. This car is very cool.
15:30 Alex, if you haven't already picked up the re-chromed parts from Calgary, you might consider dropping off indicator stalk and base when you do. As you well know, once down the rabbit hole that is car restoration... when you make things look new and shiny again, whatever was skipped sticks out like YOUR sore thumb!
You do such good work!!!I always wanted my guys(husband and 4 sons) to do body work. They can certainly get them running-- just not as purty as I'd like 😊
Alexander, I am so happy you were able to whether the paint storm, That was a missive mess. I really enjoyed your family U.S. trip, too bad or good, depending on your depth of pocket, that you weren't able to bring more stuff home from all those "antique" stores. Until next time, Cheers, Rik Spector
That car would be awesome in a James bond gray kind of color, I know its gonna be red, but a James bond gray color would look gorgeous on it too, reminds me of an Aston Martin somehow, not sure why.
You should see if a Mityvac Hand pump vacuum tester is still available they work pretty good for bleeding brakes and even more perfect as they capture the fluid ( once you know for sure how to use it ) without spilling it. Will only take 1 time or maybe a You Tube University lesson or 2 to know how to do it. Keep up the good work
I remember your last paint job. No offense intended. But it wasn't great. Glad your outsourcing that part. It's a very interesting little car. Certainly won't see another around.
Alexander, does Melissa know that you "borrowed" her baking sheet?! I can see it now, "Famous You Tuber Assaulted By Gorgeous Wife", pictures on the six-o-clock news. 😂
I am so glad to hear that. I hate to think what Alexander would look like with that thing wrapped around his head! LOL 😂. (I get vivid mental images.) 😮@@MelArchbold
Whenever you give any parts to a chroming shop for plating, you should always make a list of what you give them, and show it to them, because in my experience, they have a terrible habit of losing precious parts!
My vote, (not that I get one because this in not a democracy) is mechanical work first, because no matter how good it looks if you can't drive it it's not a car.
❤❤❤ this old lady enjoys Alex, his family and his friends
This old lady does too! ❤ XXX
Very nice, incredible car, looking forward to see the paint, and it back on the road. ❤
You can spray on a very light coat of dark primer over the light gray and block sand the dark gray off to quickly identify imperfections.

That's a pretty neat ignition switch!

I love these restoration videos!
Really enjoy these car restoration videos!
Great episode! From one car guy to another I know you put in a ton of work. Anxious for part 3!

Very happy to know the red is glazing puddy and not blood from your thumb . Thanks Alex !
I am not Neil .
According to the Audrain Museum curator its pronounced 'Lawn-cha'. Love the channel.

It's looking great, that Stealth in the background is also nice.
Your Lancia is quite a prize. Congratulations on your purchase.
Engine runs. Working brakes. It looks better already, even without the paint it's a car again.
I always enjoy your videos highlighthe news.I love the Unusual cars that you come up with😊
That speech bubble in the thumbnail made me snort my coffee. 😂😂
One bloody thumb 👍 up.
Love the red🎉🎉🎉
If u wouod use a guide coat on it ,very light mistt of black spray paint then block sand, u will find every uneven spot
That was awesome! I can’t wait for the next episode. Hope we don’t have to wait very long.
Ambitious! Those seat covers look home made and should be replaced. This car deserves it.
The instrument cluster looks much like the one in the 64 Corvair Monza that I had back in high school.
Awesome again 🎸🎸🎸🎸
Thanks Alex!
nice to see the second part
Love the car!

Oooh! I like that one! Super Cute!
Alex .... take the aerial out from the rear wing 😊
Funny to see a swiss highway sticker in the windscreen. They have the year on it - so you know the car was in Switzerland in 2010.
Alex 0000 steel wool works fantastic on Chrome and Glass . don't wet it use it dry .use it on my 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass.TRY IT
Good hands

I can almost feel your shredded and dusty fingernails from all that work.😂❤

lol that’s pretty funny :) He kept a baking sheet from one of the clear outs to use in the garage ❤
I am so glad to hear that. I hate to think what Alexander would look like with that thing wrapped around his head! LOL 😂. (I get vivid mental images.) 😮@@MelArchbold
Guide coat and a long board finds a lot of dimples and bumps
Paint it last Alex cheers !
The pickup is back! Did I miss its return?
I know I avoided the repair bill…😬

Get it up and running then paint it!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is a cool series on Curiosity Inc
This will be a very nice one! Did you tackle the 4th brake?
That car is so you
You can always remove the taillights when it is time to paint the car
My first car I discovered I barely had brakes. That was scary!
looks like the car for the italian version of the green hornet
Not having all the breaks working, Could that be a problem?
I see white 911 still in garage, thought you sold it ?
Why aren't you rechroming the window chrome.
holy crap,... i thought i was going to see another "Just Rolled In" episode with brake issues ... bwahahaha ... jes' sayin' ...
car has the best security system……stick shift 🤣
Mechanics first, paint second.

bro, wear a glove on at least your left hand when using a grinder or sander
