Lekker that you back on the water, awesome to see Table Mountain in the background, makes a man feel bloody homesick, where do you launch from btw. Kief video bru
Heyoooo bruski!! Haha yeah it's a mean paddle but worth it with the views! I launched from Sea Point side man. It's 9.6km paddle across and quite treacherous through the shipping lane but always with lights and safety equipment. Thanks for the support my dude 🥳🤙
Howsit Marco I actually did Guided Kayak Charters but have stopped em for the time being. I'll be getting back to that later on. Keep tabs for posts on charters in the future mate. 🥳🤜💥
Probably around 4 kilos (MAX) The Penn did well but honestly I took it in for another service and I'm rather getting rid of it. My Shimano's and Daiwas have held uup much better...
Howsiiiit, regulations limit us to 1 nautical mile from shore. But with the right fitness level, safety equipment and also just taking responsibility for your own actions we do venture further out. Schweeet
any advice for shark problems, I have a shark band but about 2 months ago I had a very bad experience with a great white about 3 km offshore. he ripped off one of my pontoons. LOL, u never saw someone who paddles so fast in his life.
First advice is to not paddle an inflatable kayak in shark grounds. 🤣 Sharks generally go for the fish and will rarely attack the kayak for no reason. He will see you looooong before you see him. When you do see him it's usually when he is checking you out to see if you are predator or prey. Best is to sit still, lines up and just wait it out. Don't give him a reason to get excited. Remember you step into his turf and by nature they are predators so pasop! 🤣
Apologies that the audio is pretty bad buggers.

How much that fish weight? Do you think that the penn performed well?

I always wondered how far you go out... Is that 7 km or 7 miles?
