Snoek on the Fisha 555 / Cape Town

- So I set out to get a few tail for the upcoming festivite festivities.
Unfortunately the snoek were THICK. Like Nicki Minaj butt cheeks thick.
Snoek smashing on the surface too! 💥
quite a sick sight as snoek are usually deeper in the water column.
Getting caught up in the morning snoek-tivities I eventually changed to a Frenzy 3 colour that I personally know pulls yellowtail. 😉
And ended up getting a sleigh ride before getting wrapped around the reef.
Maybe I should have put a lot more pressure to stop the fish? Heavier setup? Or maybe I should have tried to paddle her away to deeper water?
What do you buggers rate I could have done differently to land her?

Great video once again. I learn something new every time like having to break a snoeks head! Can’t wait to take my kayak, a Legend Makara out to the sea, up to now I have only fished Bass on lakes with it.

Howzit Capt Gingerbeard man. My friend and myself are looking to do kayak fishing just like this. We still new in saltwater but have a huge passion for fishing these waters.
