Shot Devin 🥳🤙 Okay so I generally go with like 15m behind the boat hey. Usually about 14 seconds of paddling letting out the line. And speed wise depends on the lures, deeper divers = more resistance thus you need to paddle harder to get it down deeper. Shallow divers are anywhere from like 1kmh to 4kmh but can be paddled faster unless they start rolling. Hope it helps bugger! Cheers Captain G
Howsiiit! To be honest any plastic kayak over 3m would be. I'd recommend a Stealth BFS or a Fisha 500 for him and he will grow into it too. It's more manageable being fibreglass.
