I cut my cuff piece EXACTLY the same as the body ….lBUT it was not enough wide ?.
I’m so sorry you had that experience. I’m not sure why your cuff would not have been wide enough. If you cut the fabric 42” wide and the cuff 42” wide, they should obviously measure 42” wide. Was there a big difference? If not, you probably could make the main part to match the cuff. Another option is to widen the cuff by stitching an additional piece of fabric to the appropriate width. You would then be left with a seam in the cuff. Again, I’m sorry. Hope these ideas help! And, it goes without saying to always double check your measurements before cutting.
