Thank u, looks tasty. Ive got a crock pot full of pears on medium 12 hours now . Smells of cooking pears are amazing. I appreciate your recipe. Great day from South Iowa 10/11/23
Great video, and I laughed at your humor in it. Sometimes these jobs sound easy, but they aren't. Hope it tasted wonderful and was worth all your hard work. xx Cathi xx
That looks delicious! It does take forever! Sometimes I do mine overnight in a crockpot. But, I start it a couple hours before I go to bed, and I do get up and check on it and stir whenever I wake up during the night. Usually 2 to 4 times. Last year I did a honey, ginger pear butter. It was soo good!
That sounds awesome! I will definitely be working that crockpot the next time I do fruit butter. I could have been working on something else if I hadn't filled up my stove with that. lol - Live and learn ;)
The first thing I got away from was exact amounts, close, but I don't sweat it. The little hand held high speed blender is my friend. Biggest advantage to the crock pot method is that your stove isn't full so you've got plenty of room for canning. Once you learn when it's done cooking the rest is history. Good video here. We just did 12 half pints, 4 pints pear butter and 18 quarts of pears. Peeling was the only time consuming job. For some pears, there isn't a peeling short cut. Thanks for the tutorial.
Oh my goodness, yes! It is delicious! I love apple butter, but haven't had a good batch since my Grandma stopped making it. If I ever get my hands on some extra apples, I'm gonna give it go though. LOL Thanks so much for taking the time to give us a look! :)

Your kitchen is so organized I love this 🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏
Thank You! And thanks for watching! 😁💛 My space is tiny, so if it's not organized, I would get nothing done 🤣😉
How have I not known we could make pear butter?😱This looks so good!
It is delicious! You should totally try it! :)
That looks sinfully delicious.
Thanks, Linda! It is sooo good! :)
