Gotta say I love how this one went. I knew Goku was gonna lose but it’s nice to see how respectful they were about it. Goku vs Superman 1 wasn’t the first one I saw but that was what got me into anime.
Technically Battle of Gods and Res F are Z movies not Super movies, it’s even in the titles. But if I were top put them in the running for best Super movie, Res F immediately gets canned. Superhero was really good but I would have to say Battle of Gods and Broly are the only contenders for first place
It was cool to see superman go prime one million for the final blow by using all the nearby stars energy. Since thats supermans strongest form after sundipping for millions of years. They just wanted to reference it in the fight!
The pretty loose, general, description of Unicron is (depending on which version they use at least) that he's more or less the Transformers equivalent to a Lovecraftian Outer God (obviously there's more to it than that, but that should give you at least a decent idea of his average power scaling as a baseline). Dude is actually low key terrifying. Some versions of him can, for instance, literally talk directly to you through recorded media (IE: a video recording of an event involving him), as in he can literally always know when you are watching him, and he can, if he so chooses, always talk to you through whatever medium you are using to observe to him. He also, to the best of my knowledge, has very similar "temporal erasure protections" similar to what superman has. Unicron (not A Unicron, just Unicron, there is literally only One, because again, Transformers Lovecraftian Outer God-being) exists in all timelines, simultaneously, so erasing him from one timeline does nothing, its literally only All or Nothing, because he'll just pop back up from another timeline. He does have one major weakness, but I'm fairly certain Galactus has no way to actually access it (I'd be legitimately impressed if he did somehow have a way to access it, in fact), so it'll be interesting to see how he wins, if he does. I'd say more, but that's probably best left to the people doing the actual death battle research. At a minimum, however, I can guarantee it's gonna be one hell of a Death Battle.
I couldn't care less about the absurd feats for either of these characters. Goku and Superman and Spiderman were my iconic main heroes as a kid. What I love most about all of them were the fundamental struggles of their own characters and what they represent. Its why I love the original dragonball, the original superman movies and cartoons along with Smallville first few seasons (Smallville is honestly one of my favorite shows of all time based on the first like 5 seasons despite its issues because of what it represents for Clark Kent), and for Spiderman my favorites were the old cartoons and the original toby mcguire movies. These all focused on the characters themselves and the struggles they had that I can relate with. Its all stupid for me beyond that point with absolutely absurd power ups and the feats they all can do. Now I love cool power ups and everything such as the iconic super saiyan 1 transformation. Its where its within logical reasoning that I like powers the most. Maybe more so as a kid I was more into the amazing powers that they all had and how powerful they would become. As a fully matured adult I enjoy things most when it revolves around more meaningful topics and struggles compared to the flashy stuff. Frieren beyond journeys end is a recent new anime that has been coming out and I absolutely love it because of the meaningful things it revolves around. Not nearly as much flashy stuff although there is some. The main appeal is the mundane simple things that can feel powerful given the right context and understanding of it. I suggest Frieren to anyone out there looking for something to move you emotionally and if you are more mature with your thoughts and outlook.
Tbf fiction is not meant to make sense. Depending on the world, the verses you mentioned are all somewhat human like but they are all new. Dragonball and dc have been out forever(dc more since supes was around during world war 1). As they are getting older, they have to have more absurd actions. The stories have to be more outlandish. Doctor who is a perfect example. The story always comes first before the feats😊

Goku is capable of taking a loss gracefully when his family and friends aren't being threatened, and he's always glad to see that he still has ways to go. And Sups can appreciate a good battle when there's no animosity between them.
I am a goku and superman fan. This stuff is just literally all about which one has more absurd feats and abilities. At a certain point it all becomes meaningless. Only so much you can logically accept with these types of powers and outcomes.

That wasn't prime 1 million that was just sun dipped. Superman Prime 1 million isn't a temporary form.
Unicron is actually a lot more stronger than Galactus. Galactus may keep it close but has nothing to truely kill Unicron.
