I saw Mary Black back in 1991 in Manchester and 1992 in Liverpool. Later on several times in Germany. And I have to say, she is just great and I really love her music. This song in particular. Because it reminds me on the first concert in Manchester, where I lived for one year.

Mary can handle a McCarthy lyric.Deccy tends to over produce everything and the sentiment gets lost somewhat.Mary could hum advert jingles over the stove of a morning and I would still buy them.I think Deccy has sat back a bit on his Christie Moore colabs.......it works.No need for over embellishment in art.
