What i like about this song, well.. one thing among many others, is the simple fact that someone hearing NW for the first time, could easily be fooled into thinking that Marko is the lead vocalist.
Marko has absolutely top tier vocals, so nobody would blame anyone for thinking he's the singer, and he is not...
Can't wait to see Ronnie's reaction when he finds out that Marko is not the lead, and he hears Floor's vocals ripping holes in the space-time-continuum, it'll be fun seeing his mind getting blown when he sees the whole band in action (including Troy ofc).
Marko is sure fire definitely a lead singer, just not _the_ lead singer in this band, It's kinda like having Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig on the same team. Well, that one's outta left field.

Nice to see Empuu getting some love. He's the Nightwish member everybody forgets, but he can absolutely shred when called on.
While Marko usually only did sing lead on 1-2 songs per set with NIghtwish, he is a noted frontman in his own right, being the lead singer of Tarot.
And he says thank you at the end. Kiitos is Finnish for Thank You
I have a new appreciation for your "Method To The Madness" style of matching up people who are NOT familiar with NW...but have been "behind" the curtain with other bands...they may/may not get this genre of music...yet acknowledge the quality and professionalism of the group...

Great reaction but you never give any context. The fact that Marco is not the lead singer should be your starting point. Give some more info to your friends.

BTW, while Marko (bass/vocals) has the "look" of a Viking...he is Finnish. Vikings never lived in Finland. Now, Sabaton... ALL actual Vikings!!
The drummer IS awesome! Jukka Nevalainen! Emppu Vuorinen on guitar - finesse! The melancholy and the anger in the arrangement! Tuomas Holpainen! Marko - shining! Live is ALWAYS best! edit: I saw PF's pig fly too!
Saw The Eagles on their Hell Freezes Over Tour. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Joe Walsh is one of my fav guitar players. But I think Emppu even beats him for me. Good music all around.
It's funny when it gets really intense Joel , you stop bobbing around and concentrate on the video 😂 I do the same.
I was wondering if you noticed the stage lights behind Jukka. They start off mind of flat. The slowly rise and by the end of the song they are in a circle and pulsing. Part of the tribute to the Floyd Pulse tour I think.
I did notice the lighting. The original Pink Floyd circle of lights is what helped hook me into becoming a roadie. I was a moving light tech for years on the road.

Jukka is one of my favourite all time drummers, not in the least because of his energy and his presence. Since he had to retire for insomnia, at almost the very same time, I believe he was “reincarnated” in Monterrey Mexico, in an up and coming drummer named Pau……
Nightwish are close to their Roadies. During Covid, they helped their out of work roadies make a band named Crewish that recreated Nightwish songs in different styles.

🇫🇮❤ The original Eagles was a great band & Hotel California and Desperado are classics. That being said, I really enjoyed you two sharing this tribute to Pink Floyd by Nightwish, but I hope that you can also share some Nightwish's own music with the "Boss".

Im a die hard Floyd fan from the 60s This song lead me to NW and they are a great group of musicians. I always wondered what a Floyd song would sound like with a tech drummer like Peart or John Bonham. It was great, Jukka kills it.

I seen Pink Floyd in 1994 and it was the best concert I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen probably 300 shoes or more. This was a nice tribute but nothing can top Floyd but this was good as a tribute really good and I think Nightwish his guitar player doesn’t get enough credit. Everybody always talks about everybody else but him.

Great performance of a great song but its a cover song sung by the backing vocalists. IMHO not an iaccurate ntroduction to Nightwish.

I am very dissapointed. if introducing someone to Nightwish do a original not a tribute. their composition can hold up to any rock band. as good or better than pink
This was a bad reactionvideo with a fantastic band and singer. It does show how grat they are as musicians, but its not show Nightwish sounds. Exept for Marco, but he is unfortenaly not in the band any longer. The video is almost 20 years old, and can perhaps go in as the fitft reacton you make with the band.
Eagles🎉🎉😂😂 is that one song band guy?😅
