Just home from Santa Ponsa, we took a day trip into Magaluf by bus. No hassle no complications and the only ones i saw being a pain were a Spanish granny and a few Germans. Its all nations....

The British media was showing protest yesterday in majorca and ibiza protesting against tourism. The Spanish island including the canaries are all protesting. This is not good. Holiday makers will go elsewhere.
The thing is, particularly with the canaries, they aren’t protesting against tourists but affordable accommodation. A bit like in the UK with, for example Cornwall, where people are buying property to let meaning locals are unable to afford their own accommodation. But as usual the gutter press are twisting it. It’s almost like they don’t want us to have anything to do with Europe 😡
For goodness sake it’s literally one street ! would be interested to know if the hotels that have reduced the amount of drinks in all inclusive packages have also reduced the prices, in light of the problems with obesity would reducing the amount of food available to people not be taken into consideration but then what else would the hotels do with their leftovers ?
No they didn't infact the prices of hotels are going up and it doesn't show any signs of stopping yet. It will eventually price alot of people out unfortunately.

How is the All Inclusive light going to be done? Three drinks with dinner and three with tea so are you supposed to sit in the dining room until you've finished your drinks because I've heard they're stopping people from taking them out of the dining area.
Great video. Been staying in palma nova the last 15 years came over with my young daughters now they are 15 and nearly 17. Magaluf has got more and more family friendly every year. Never been a problem day time always pleasant evenings busier but doesn’t stop us going over and enjoying. I’d recommend anyone to go over there and stay with and with our family. Lovely place.
I’m here in Calvià Beach at the moment and all is good, the weather is lovely and warm and it’s quite calm and peaceful at the moment which I prefer before the height of the season ❤

I'm not British but Dutch and I understand English well so I can follow almost everything you say in your videos. Very nice and informative videos. I would like to respond to your video about "bad news" about nuisance and drinking by British holiday guests. I regularly visit Spain (mainland) and especially the Costa Blanca, Benidorm area, and when I hear a lot of noise and music in cafes and pubs, it is almost always British people who have been drinking and drinking since early in the morning. talking very loudly and drinking until late at night. What is it with Brits and alcohol? Okay, young people from the Netherlands also cause a nuisance, but British people of all ages drink a lot of alcohol. The drinks shops are always full of British people, just like the tobacco shops (I don't smoke but I do walk past them). Why are they always so loud? Magaluf is a great place to vsit, beaches , bars, restaurants all brilliant, the resort is definitely worth spending time in.lots families there when we were over a few weeks ago. I see no problem. He said it was a new thing. Does not affect me, but the young tourists need something special for them on holiday. I know the government want to change Magaluf to a family resort, but if they leave nothing left for the young ones, businesses will suffer.

TBH, the resort is only as bad as the people that go there, I always had enough to feel happy but some people went mad, remember seeing a lass so drunk she could not talk properly or stand up tried everything I could to help get her up but she was beyond help, the Garda civil (hope I got that right) turned up so I got out of there (top of the strip) and went back towards my hotel. next morning she was out and about looking worse for wear and saying how she had learned a lesson thanks to how the police handled the incident, yes I met her later that night and she was sober as a judge and only drinking cola

I'm 43, Magaluf is fantastic, the beach is beautiful, food is great and while there are lots of people there in the summer, ive never seen any fights or trouble. I'm sure it happens but it's safer than most places. The irony of a British Tabloid saying people are acting up in Majorca......have you seen London lately.
Don't bother going to Spain & risk getting fined for misbehaving stay in London do what you want, sleep on the grass verge on park Lane in a tent stay there for as long as you want & the police turn a blind eye to it all.... I personally spoke to a police officer on Sunday about the encampment of tents on park Lane and there reply was"they are only sleeping " Its real shame London seems to have become a lawless society. 🤔🤔
