As a scout main, seeing that scout steal the ammo pack and dying right after was nice
This is one of the most painful struggles of an engineer main- a class that doesn't need to be so dependent stealing ammobpacks during setup and battles (setup is mostly for engineers and in the battle, Engineers and Heavies usually use them the most).
@@cutercills9x9productions9 I'm sorry sir but we scouts miss our shots or run out of PBPP ammo and we need it too!
@@CptDoot let engie build spencer and then you get ammo
What bothers me is that the scout stole the ammo pack but not the medkit.
@@CursedSFMS yup
My favourite TF2 headcanon is that the vast majority of Mann Co ammunition is defective, and the rare cases where you get a critical is when the actually functional stuff comes through.
Yes, SK keeps supply the merc. with ripoff and clothing are made in China, too.
But all hail the bottomless ammo box. Ammo for days, of all types
would explain why bullets and grenades don't usually inst-kill you if
Sooo the mercs just use the melee properly and get a crit because they feel like it
@@zeiaddeiay3512 yeah. But you could argue the random crits are like takedown moments, but there aren’t any animations and it isn’t based on damage or direction
You may laugh at how overly complicated this process was, but this is exactly how Aperture Science almost become bankrupt
Put panel into box, open box to get panel
put turret into box, immediately take turret out
put scientist into box, then take scientist out of box
Make panel, cut panel into smaller panel, discard the rest
Make a simple laser pointer for testing purposes (heck no)
Make a gigantic high power Laser emitter that is about as big as a building, then teleport the laser through a portal (HECK YEAH!)
@@Wertyhappy27 dead
That was something Cave Johnson said about his fathers before him in the Perpetual Testing Initiative trailer.
You can tell that engineering put a lot of thought into rocket handling. Nice.
just one stray bullet away from a-

the rocket was put upright to not trigger it immediately safety is our number 1 concern
@@Blitzozs Yes, this way it has a higher way of exploding in someone's hands, making sure there is no property damage.
@@Blitzozs what about others on top of it?
@@TheDragonfriday Don't worry, MANN CO. purposely engineered it so that the exhaust port of each rocket perfectly conforms around the front of the rocket behind while just barely sitting above the ignition cap. This is how the Soldier can shove 3 rockets into a single tube.
Id like to imagine the mercs that dont use rockets or pills just toss them away like "Yeah, wont be needing this"
Even though I miss the OG picking up weapons for ammo packs.
The new dropping ammo packs on death makes more sense, like they just kept it on their person and you're picking up the table scraps of ammo left.
That might explain why corpses throw ammo boxes. The engineer might not need the rockets but the soldier who killed him does.
@@clownplayer7265 This implies that everyone is in agreement to hold on to the leftover ammo instead of throwing them away as a reward to the enemy for killing them
@@wardenunknown Well, allies can pick up the ammo as well
Engineer scraps the rest
That "Thank you, mister" from the Engineer to the enemy Heavy and his "Yes" response was awesome, like they were known to be friends.
*P.S.*
Sorry, I'm just russian and learning English is only in progress, thank you everyone for that much likes, never got so much. I think I must correct this comment.
Nah, just a dead scout is the best version of your son, Spy
Tf2 is a magical place.
That's just how tf2 players operate my guy
@@cloudedarctrooper I suspect that TF2 players themselves are a different species of human
Known as "The Friends"
Would be awesome too see a series of these for things like small health kits. Really great work and a charming end (screw anyone taking ammo as an engie)
Agree!
Small medkits is just drugs (good stuff)
Small health kits are taken from Medics. Nobody knows how he gets them, nor what's inside, because our investigators end up as severed heads in refrigerators and all sampling personnel end up smelling colours and hearing their dead friends' voices and die within 24 hours. Suspicions say that Mercenaries who ingest these capsules on a daily basis are professionally trained by drug addicts to ingest fatal amounts of the health kits' contents, and common lead poisoning found in bodily readings on certain mercenaries point to the lead strengthening the body's tolerance to these substances without the heart imploding or the stomach growing 17 tumours within the hour.
@@Cheseday I read that in Heavy's voice

I like the idea that the wood is added more as decorative panelling than for any structural purpose for the box.
Considering gthe contents of the box, I think that's for the best.
And a real life ammo box is literally just four thin pieces of plywood nailed together with some reinforcing bits around the edges, with all the ammo thrown in haphazardly as well (granted it's all one type). Both extremes are kinda crazy to me! You'd think it would be more robust for something being taken into a war zone, but nope, it's just a step up from throwing it all in a cardboard box and calling it good!
That's a real scout main right there
Real scout mains would have also taken the medpac even at 125 health-
@@motharchenemy8549 Boston Am I right?
Im a scout main, but who the hell needs medkits and ammo when you can simply risk your life by the impossible
@@ILoveSuperVideoGames As A former Battle Medic. i both hate you. and love you.
nah, real scout mains use the resupply locker.
Love the idea the ammo box is just a random mishmash of ammo that most classes won't have any use for as they horde it all for the one or two ammo types they do have.
It’s something how the medium pickups are the most pleasant looking.
I mean I’m way happier to see a large, but something about the medium healthkit and ammo box is just so… indescribably *nice,* y’know?
Not too small, but not too large
Yea, I feel like it's kinda intentional?
They're the *nice* perfect ones
plus you're conditioned to know they're always gonna have a good amount
the small ones purposefully look kinda pathetic and tiny
the large ones are supposed to look like they're overflowing
ayo???
Judging by the small Ammo Box, it looks like the box is made of plastic than wood, or in any case, have any wood features. I assume the more wooden the ammo box is, the more it can hold.
This is impressive, and you’ve gotten better too! One thing tho, I believe the lighting on the factory background could use some work, everything being lit the same way looks kinda wonky, and it also makes it look too empty and doesn’t really look like factory. If you don’t want to cram that space with unnecessary stuff, maybe lowering the light of the background could work so it looks like it has a bit more depth. You could also add some more pipes and stuff to it along with the lighting change and it could do wonders. Just don’t make it super dark that it’s not visible tho, I’ve committed that crime couple of times. Good luck with your future work mate, and keep up that work, the engis at 2fort will thank you !
Wow, an insightful and nice UA-cam comment that doesn’t insult the creator we need more people like you.
Its amazing how one box can fit bullets, grenades, arrows, syringes, sticky bombs, flares , rockets, metal, icicle pieces, invisa-watch fuel and much more in one box!
I would absolutely love an update of a spawning animation for things like this
Completely unnecessary and lag inducing
@@Xeller_real but it would look cool. The little details are always nice
@@Phosphorite05 no.
@@lazararck7627 Then it's optional.
@@Xeller_real it'll make a 0.5fps difference lmao
its literally just an opening in the wall and a half a second animation of the box sliding in
tbf any self-respecting engineer builds the dispenser first; I am a support class, not fully un-armed.
I love the clear tube and watching the ammo flow like a soda fountain
Perfection!
And the way how the rockets came out of the tube sounded so wrong and should've exploded at this point lmao XD
I like how it’s basically just a metal container with unnecessary wood furnishing added to it. Like… All it does is pointlessly adds weight and complexity to the container. But as the TF2 universe has taught us, MannCo seems to not particularly care about whether or not something is efficient.
I like how the box is just metal, and the wood is purely decorative
"This is TF2's ammo box"
"Dear GOD"
*"There's more"*
*_"YES!!!"_*
The RED Engie and BLU Heavy's interaction though, really wholesome. Glad the Scout got what he deserved 😂
That one F2P engineer that stares at Ammo boxes: NO
As a scout player, I find it extremely annoying how these greedy engineers with full shotgun ammo keeps taking these ammo packs ):
They need ammo packs to get more metal for their buildings...
@@mr.warden118 Wooooosh.
@@shalax7881 How is it a whoosh if it was a shitty unfunny joke to begin with?
Pootis bird
sounds like you should stop maining the worlds most annoying class
I loved seeing this. I want the see the locker supplies become replenished after a class gets ammo out or a different item.
The absolute genius put into this animation, had me captivated right from 5 seconds in... When they screw the top of the box onto the conveyor belt -.- im just gonna assume theres a machine right after that then unscrews it from the conveyor belt that we dont get to see
0:31 seeing this made my day
can't we all agree that that scout could have only taken the shells out of the box?
i like the idea that there's random secret doors in all the maps where they deploy the ammo boxes
this is wromg because theyre actually full of my poopy
yems
Now I'm imagining that every time the mercs pick up an ammo pack, they have to spend a bunch of time sorting through everything inside to find all the stuff they want
>Steals ammo
>Dies right after without using any of it
>Refuses to ellaborate
>"Thanks mister" - Engi
> "Yes !" - BLU Heavy
ammo boxes drops from any class, meaning you can steal his ammo
Love how the screws are way longer than the box is thick, but don't clip into the interior and instead are magic.
0:53 why i always build dispensers first
It seems like Mann Co. is really taking their Aperture partnership seriously.
Also never thought of how ammo boxes were made so thanks for the visuals on it!
Having the metal base, then attaching wood to it is the chef's kiss.
amazing, excelent job!
I like how in these videos there's just a massive factory hiding in the walls of every map.
Fun fact: they make these as fast as 10 seconds.
I like the idea that a merc has to sift through several wrong mags bullets and explosives just to find a few mags for their gun
16 shotgun shells
10 rockets
%50 filled gas
8 pipe grenades
100 custom tool cartridge bullets
16 shotgun shells+100 metal
75 syringes
13 high caliber bullets
16 pistol bullets+%50 cloak charge
G'day everyone, this is what you are picking every medium ammo box with default weapons.
The medium ammo box is just bigger on the inside. That is how everything fits in there.
Screws wood paneling onto a metal toolbox, nice, nice
Pushes the handles and hinges on with a simple boop? Hold up now, something aint right
you can tell tf2 is a great game when 15 years later we get such good content
For half life 2 i imagine the resistance slowly puts together ammo boxes for gordon freeman.
It's actually a cool idea to make one of these in real life as a gift to somebody that happens to like the game
Scouts, infamous for stealing ammo from engineers who need to upgrade or repair buildings urgently or taking a large med kit when at 124 HP in front of a burning medic who is about to die.
This animation is amazing.
Like one comment said, a video on Health Kits would be amazing, but also I'd love to see how Dispensers are re-supplied, like the inner-workings and how all of Engi's buildings are manufactured.
It's just a permit to link it up with the inner workings of the Mann Co supply machine. The automated supply lines handle all the rest.
I was just about to ask about the rockets... then the second tube appeared with 4 rockets.
10/10 acurracy.
i don't see pyro's flamethrower fuel
Of course you don't it's propane.
I would just love to imagine how it would look like I'm the factories of Battlefield and how they were able to fit in all different types of munitions including the bolts.
New subscriber I love your animation there amazing keep it up
I'd really love that animation in the box reload moment in game
Do you think we could get a “how jarate is made” animation next?” Jokes aside great animation the details on the wooden box was great
And then make “how mad milk is made” 😈
1:01 When you are friendly but still would fight
do the mercs just have internal ammo pack factories in their bodies since they drop when they die?
Mphmm(Its just stored metal they picked up)
I love the idea that instead of it being a wooden crate reinforced with some iron around the edges, its an iron box with stylish wood paneling
you should do like a bonk and crit a cola factory next
Mphhh(just melting metal in to a can form and chemicals with water filled up this can)
It would be funnier if Scout said "Need a dispenser here!"
Now how did those perfectly shaped metal and wooden parts get made?
Mphhh... (Just melted metal on special form making things and wood cut machines :|)
@@Habarich. prove that with video evidence
Nice to know the wood paneling is purely cosmetic
i wonder how the pyro gets his ammo, does he just shove everything in the ammo kit in the flamethrower or is there a different type of ammo box filled with fire
Isnt it based on gas?
I guess ammo kits just also contain gas canisters
The idea of a soldier hurriedly dumping out all the pills and bullets during a fight just to get to the rockets is pretty funny.
Videogame logic: When missing 1 shotgun shell, you take up what is suppose to be half of the ammo capacity and leave nothing behind
I like to think that theres a mini teleporter inside that has the specific ammo depending on whos the closest to the box
You forgot the part where it's introduced into people's bodies
It’s amazing to think all of this happens in 10 seconds
The reason why any class can take ammo from a pack is because until the box is opened, it is in a quantum superposition where all possible types of ammo are in the box simultaneously.
Using proprietary _Schrödinger Was a Pansy_ (TM) brand technology, we at Mann Co. manipulate the collapsing waveform from opening the box to ensure that each of our ammo boxes always have the ammunition you need to kick some hippie ass.
That ammo tube is beautiful
As an ammo box, yes, this is how we are born
*Scout gets killed by heavy*
Engineer: Thanks, mister!
Heavy: Yes!
...
Engineer: Hol up
So freshly made!
Engineer should collect that same medium ammo pack where that scout died there
"How do we get so many bullets in 'em? Like this!" - Cave JohnMann
"I piss on the concept of ammo calibres. The customers are going to use what I give them to use and they're gonna love it. Or else."
-Saxton Hale
Guy 1 - "So what type of ammo will we have this set of boxes be for?"
Guy 2 - "ALL OF THEM!"
Scout Skywalker: What a piece of junk!
Engineer Solo: That's how you can tell it's a good resupply box. There's a bit everyone can use.
Enginer: Dang it, nang it, nab it, DAMN IT!
Yo who ever made this i wish the person or people who told you to make this payed you enough cus never accord to me how the ammo box is created this is amazing
The box itself is more expensive than the ammunition.
So this is why it takes so long to respawn
Your animations are Epic!
Filling the box with random garbage ammo reminds me of the Portal 2 Cave Johnson short where its revealed the ENTIRE hollow inside of a turret is just flooded with bullets any nothing else.
the fact that that much ammo fits there (plus some more rockets!)
The filling process reminds me of the Aparture Science Turret. "How do we get so many bullets in there? Like this..."
‘Our ammo, piled haphazardly, fits into a large ammo pack.’
Erm you screwed the lid to the belt you fool
Those long nails to go in the thin plate of wood? And nails piercing metal? guh
Just watching that ammo pour into the box feels so satisfying.
I like how the universal supply is jamming all types of ammunition in one box
I want to take the time to thank and appreciate this animation. Must of been hours
The electricity bill though 💀
That’s exactly what needs to happen to people to steal ammo packs.
I always liked the idea of health kit and ammo boxes coming from the wall . since i saw it in your animations . i kinda want tf2 to do that too .
I choose to be believe that the ammo is in a super position, and turns into the state that each merc needs when observed
These videos are so oddly satisfying! Just seeing the construction of these everyday objects we see in game is amazing.
This is a great answer on how you can get the ammo for any class from these boxes
My brain: you cant just screw the lid into conveyor belt and continue the production
The animation: **Observe**
0:53 That Scout obviously did not watch Uncle Dane's video, "You & Your Engineer" and ultimately paid the price!
i was hoping for a more rube goldberg-esque way of using the entire log of a tree for one plank
I really love how clean each of these animations are bro super satisfying Everytime
I love how every single wooden panels are screwed while the handle just placed without any fastener
The ammo box comes back every 10 seconds in game and you got that right.
