It's a shame what happened and I'm glad to know the sex offender part was only a character in Family Guy, hopefully he will comeback to sooth the masses awaiting for PS5 restocks.
You forgot to mention that there was also a PSP version of ModNation Racers. Additionally, you could still play around with user-generated content by either importing saves from the LittleBigPlanet archive or playing on the custom fan server.
i'm so thankful that 12 year old me downloaded a bunch of user created characters in modnation racers, my character selection is better than any smash bros roster and my ps3 is now significantly more valuable!

28:54 Side note: Evolution Studios didn't shut down after Motorstorm: Apocalypse. They went on to make the FANTASTIC Drive club, and after that, Sony closed the studio after Gran Turismo Sport came out and blew it out of the water. Then the team got picked up by Codemasters.
Where they released Onrush, which did so badly I couldn't remember its name until I google searched Codemasters games. It looked like a spiritual successor to Motorstorm until you realize that it's not actually a racing game but a class-based vehicle combat game that takes place on a track instead of an arena. I think they were trying to do for racing games what Overwatch did for shooters. It sold so poorly that it led to layoffs, and it never got a PC port. It released on June 5th 2018, and the last indication of any developer support was on July 15th 2019. R.I.P. I fear we'll never get another game from Evolution due to Onrush's failure.
Sony seeing Kevin in ad for Bridgestone tires with a wii in it : "TRAITOR"!!!!!(also if you're doing wii titles next perhaps that's a good opportunity to talk about that one game I donated to you at momocon 2019 , Hollywood games by ubisoft)
ModNation Racers was a fantastic game. Not only was the racing really fun, but the online aspect made me some great friends over the years and the customization was very detailed if you knew how to use it. I know some creators made super detailed art pieces on their cars/characters just by manipulating basic shapes in the sticker section. I wish they would've made a sequel.
your video's are some of the best on youtube. they are timeless. I could watch a video that was made in 2016 and not know it unless i just looked at the date
Seeing all these old commercials reminds me of a time when I could dedicate like 7 straight hours a day to goofing off gaming. If I could just have another week like that these days... Or hell, even just the attention span that I used to have. I feel like I'm totally burnt out on games after like 2 hours now.
Yeah I used to play games back then for hours on end back then, now whenever I play a game I usually play for maybe an hour or two unless it's something like final fantasy 14 which has been the one game in recent years that's really got me playing for hours.
I played the ever-loving HECK out of Modnation Racers back in the day. I was all in on that game. Followed the trailers and news leading up to launch, bought a PS3 so that I could play it, bought the DLC, dumped hundreds of hours into it. That game was my jam! It saddens me to this day that it never flourished into the franchise that I knew it could have been.
Modnation Racers is still one of my favourite games. I love it's aesthetic so MUCH, and that customization still holds up as one of the best of all time. Honestly bums me out we never got more from Modnation, for real.
I’ve been looking forward to you talking about Motorstorm, that game made me buy a PS3 and the quadrilagy . The opening gives me chills, such a kick ass game.
Oh my god I SO wish that Modnation Racers would come back. Just seeing all the crazy customization in the stages and racers, as well as the really chaotic gameplay, which kinda reminds me of Cel Damage, just makes me so envious of the people who got to play it when the online was still up! Who knows, maybe a remaster or new game will come out in the future, but that’s unlikely. At least we can still play it as opposed to it being entirely gone. Motorstorm also seems like it would be phenomenal if made today. With some more advanced destruction and physics it would be a sight to behold.

It's a shame what happened and I'm glad to know the sex offender part was only a character in Family Guy, hopefully he will comeback to sooth the masses awaiting for PS5 restocks.
It's sad to hear that all these games either have online servers or DLC missing. What a shame.
If you're doing the Wii next, you gotta talk about The Blob! It was one of my favorite games back in the day
You forgot to mention that there was also a PSP version of ModNation Racers.
Glad to see infamous get some attention. Amazing games man
A weird ass Wii game I had growing up was this Six Flags licensed game where everyone in it sounded like they spoke French
That was the shit
I still have that game
Pan, have you heard of the PS2 game "Stretch Panic" (or "Freakout" everywhere outside the US)? It's made by Treasure, the company that made Mischief Makers for the N64. I just discovered it myself and it looks like something that'd be up your alley.
@@trevorgray4697 Actually, a lot of that team went on to make Dirt 5. It runs on the same engine too
Great video I loved Kevin butler I miss that era of game commercials we now get the bare minimum crap ads now!
Pan adding "femboy" into the scenario proves just how down bad he truly is
your video's are some of the best on youtube. they are timeless. I could watch a video that was made in 2016 and not know it unless i just looked at the date
Putting the term “Semi lost” has caught my interest!
well I guess he was working on this video when sony was going to discontinue the ps3 store but they cancelled that so they aren't lost yet
we need more guys like you that talks about games but actually plays them first
Hearing that intro just brought back so many memories of watching Screwattack
Modnation racers is a prime example of missed potential
Infamous is one of my favorite game series ever!
God i hope they make another for the ps5
Can I just say how cool it is that Pan uses the old Screwattack music for his intro when he talks about games?
Been watching you since 2013 and I have always regarded your editing style as the best on UA-cam
I would love if you do Ape Escape 2, or the Yo-kai Watch Trilogy for 3Ds next time
i 100% think that pan reviewing the ape escape trilogy/franchise would be so nostalgia inducing n spectacular
The fact that you used Folding at Home as a bumper completely blew my mind.
Modnation Racers is still one of my favourite games. I love it's aesthetic so MUCH, and that customization still holds up as one of the best of all time.
Honestly bums me out we never got more from Modnation, for real.
That ModRacers game looked like a lot of fun! I love the designs of the characters and the cars!
26:40 Pan just casually dropping that he may be middle aged
The song playing during the Pan Plush advertisement is called “Anvil Snare Remix” off the 2001 Toonami album ‘Deep Space Bass’
Holy fuck thank you so much
@@pentexsucks43 you’re welcome
ModNation Racers deserves WAY more attention than it gets!
I’ve been looking forward to you talking about Motorstorm, that game made me buy a PS3 and the quadrilagy . The opening gives me chills, such a kick ass game.
I miss Motorstorm Pacific Rift and Warhawk
Oh my god I SO wish that Modnation Racers would come back. Just seeing all the crazy customization in the stages and racers, as well as the really chaotic gameplay, which kinda reminds me of Cel Damage, just makes me so envious of the people who got to play it when the online was still up! Who knows, maybe a remaster or new game will come out in the future, but that’s unlikely. At least we can still play it as opposed to it being entirely gone.
Motorstorm also seems like it would be phenomenal if made today. With some more advanced destruction and physics it would be a sight to behold.
"Baller taste in music"
*Plays Slam by Pendulum* You fuckin know it my dude
I never had a PS3 growing up, but this takes me back.
PS3 brings a fuck tonne of cozy memories, even though it wasn't as memorable as the 6th gen consoles
modnations 3, 2, 1 pause is deliberate to test your timing. also depending on how fast you press the boost button after the go sets how long the boost lasts. but pressing too early sets you back like 5 seconds
Wii is next? Ok! Here's my list of games you need to check out:
Muramasa the demon blade
Tatsunoko vs Capcom
Pandora's tower
Resident evil the darkside chronicles
Klonoa
Mercury meltdown revolution
Fire emblem radiant dawn
Redsteel 2
Zack & wiki
Warioland shake it
House of the dead overkill
Sin & punishment star successor
Mario strikere charged
Half those games are really well known
The Resident Evil lightgun games were fucking great, I wish we got more of those for the Switch.
Modnation Racers' user-created tracks were so creative, so unique. I'm glad that I still have some of them downloiaded on my old PS3.
The fact that there are people who are nostalgic for the 7th gen is terrifying
I mean... it did start over 15 years ago. It's bigger than the time between Sonic 1 and Sonic '06.
It was 2 generations ago. There are people who likely said the same thing for the 5th generation of gaming back in 2006.
11:11 ENDLESS TRAAASH
Love seeing RLM references in other UA-camrs’ videos
If you cover the Wii then you got to talk about Rabbids Go Home, that game was so freaking sweet!
Burt and Betty, better love story than Twilight!
That intro scared me when I was little admittedly….
Hell yeah
Hell yeah, dude! That's of my favorite games.
Excellent, as a budding collector who now has a used PS3 at their disposal, I’ve been looking for recommendations
