Things I’ve learnt:
-Everyone’s bombing forward
-It’s paid dividends
New manager arrives at club, rolls out a ball and says, “Go wild.”
Passed up a great opportunity to use Roma for this, the Roaming Roma's
Thought the exact same 😂
disgusted in myself to be fair
The second i saw the ajax logo my exact thought was “why didn’t he choose Roma”
To be fair he has got agile Ajax
The Roamans
next challenge: everyone stays in their position with minimal movement
Ah. The Mourinho.
The simeone.
Sounds like Poland national team :)

You should try playing attacking players in defence and defenders in attack that would be interesting
This would be great
Agree
You suggest defenders with attack duties and attckers with defend? Or are you making me feel real pain by playing attackers in defence and defenders as strikers?...
@@StingerNeilD both 😁
@@StingerNeilDThe 1st
should have done this with wolverhampton "wanderers"
I’d personally have gone Raumdeuter on one the Trequartista side, and switched the Advanced Playmaker to Trequartista, Goalkeeper to Sweeper Keeper on Attack, play the highest line possible, offside trap and try to have all the Outfield players with 15+ Off The Ball (or as close as possible) and I reckon you could do surprisingly well
The fact your didn’t use Roma for this one is an own goal
a massive one but here we are
That was a proper total voetbal, Chef Stinger 😎👌
Worked like a charm. King Johan was watching it with approval from the heavens.
Love it. A actual normal looking tactic that worked well. It's a first in this series
@@StingerNeilD true, this one was pretty conservative for our recent standards 😜
Reminded a bit of CM4, I think the last iteration of the game before the split between SI and the other company involved in Championship Manager series (cannot recall their name now, poor memory), where before a string of patches you could literally break the game with gung ho mentality and tear opponents apart by like 8-1 or 7-3.
I really enjoy your content and you have been consistently uploading for a while now good shit man
Thank you! Hugely appreciate that
This is legitimately my system but a 4-4-2 diamond and the only person not told to roam is the CDM. Everywhere else gets license to roam. It's dominant if you actually build for it. High first touch, technique, long shots & solid aerials to control attack from all ranges and win duels at all heights. High work rate, physicals & IQ makes for a solid defensive unit. Midfield is surprisingly the least important element, just versatile B2Bs everywhere.
It's a solid build if you're willing to be Attacking at all times. Plus, tall/fast/technical is a small pool of players -- and you need them pretty much everywhere -- and trustworthy Liberos in particular are hard to come-by, so it's going to be my go-to build whenever I find/produce them 2 first or know I can afford the core.
I only used it for a limited time but loved it
tall, fast, and technical would do well in any system in this game to be fair
@@wiggles8429 Do well? Compete? Certainly, but be *dominant* in the EPL? That certainly wasn't happening for me with variations of 433s & 532s (especially with an unbalanced mentality,) because City, Liverpool & several others are/become tall, fast & technical as well. The Pressure Diamond, as I like to call it, *only* with tall, fast & technical players is the 433's kryptonite. The second I changed to that, (even with an unbalanced mentality still,) everything changed, and all I had to do was rotate smartly and it was guaranteed 2 major trophies a year, after previously averaging like 1 in 2 for like 5 years.
And as I said before, actually *building* for it is easier said than done, because everyone else wants these players, too. That's the real challenge.
In Joe HENDRY, We believe
7 man in the box is basically what Flick did with Bayern when they won everything.
I changed this tactic a bit to better fit my players, and while you give away at least one great chance every 30 minutes or so, it is incredibly entertaining.
The movement of the players is like when you look at bacteria under a microscope, moving all over the place, changing speed and direction at seemingly random.
My liberos take at least one 25-yard-shot a match, which is wasteful, but very entertaining.
One out of every 5 goals is just some beautiful one-touch play that is just a joy to look at, real total football stuff.
Love this. And that description using bacteria is magnificent
Reminds me of an old cricket coach. In the field, his tactic was “spread out boys!” 😂
I used the same roles but with BPD(Co) and in a 4-3-3 shape in Fiorentina. That's actually brilliant, 18 wins and only two losses throughout the first half, most notably we beat Inter 2-0 away surpassing them three times in the number of shots
Maybe have a video idea for you, what about a tournament where each of those "cursed" formations/tactics are playing each other, so we finally know whats the best tactic is :D
Love the videos mate, keep it up.
That has been recorded. Mystic Meg 😉
Nice work! My hope was seeing a tactic that confused the defenders and gave them no idea who to mark and it seemed to do just that 👌
It was actually a lot of fun
Pretty sure IWB also has roam hard coded
Yeah it does. my bad
Enjoyed this but when you have every player with "tackle harder" and a team instruction to tackle harder (on an attacking mentality) we'll never know is it the roaming or the cheesy instructions! Entertaining though - thank you.
I dunno man, if I don't have them doing something at least halfway aggressive and defensive it would have been a shitshow
@@StingerNeilD Yeah but almost every other FM youtuber does this (tackle harder) cheese too - it's getting old!
@@ConlanAbu I wanted to last a season and that is proven to help. I don't know what else you want
@@ConlanAbugive it a rest man he’s just trying to make fun tactics don’t have to use it I think it’s a massive success he didn’t get sacked using a tactic like that
I love it!!
Chaos Ball reigns supreme!
Ball winning midfielder would have provided better defensive cover, while still roaming a lot
how do you view the game with the drop down view with the players as circles like at 9:07 ?
2d classic
oh thanks mate thought they added the 2d classic view during the text highlights early 😓
Genius again 👏
Fascinating tactic, mate! I've been looking to create something similar myself, I'm a big fan of relationism and total football. How would you make this more solid though?
Less roaming on the defence and maybe one holding midfielder 🫡
@StingerNeilD 'preciate it mate. Let me get cooking 👍🏾
Wow, nice!!

🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
I love how you get Zealand to walk across the screen on your videos 😂😂
Only joking Zealand 🙌
Took me a while that
Iwb also has roam from position hard coded also feel you could've used stopper or cover on cbs since it removes the hold position instruction
True that was my miss, CWB was the right choice here though, bit more width
how i thought the six trquatistas was the most insane but you somhow did more
That's really impressive considering you'd expect to be really porous in defence.
Ajax helped but still happy with the result
Would be good to know the attribute comparison to the league. I would imagine this would require high work rate, decisions and off ball to be succesful.
Also curious how would you do in the UCL against "stronger" teams.
Yes, In honesty I didn't go that deep into it but that would be a factor I think you are right
The closest FM allows us to play Dinizmo football? 😂
This looks like Postecoglou’s Tottenham style!
Delia and Roy Keane in the same video ... quality 👍👍👍
Let's be having you
Soundtrack to this is Metallica-Wherever I may roam
Can't win the league on my Ajax save so will give this a go. Any recommendations on changes to make for an away tactic for Europe? thank you
I'd calm the CBs down to a normal role and drop the overall mentality
The Kevin Keegan tactic 😂
Is no one going to mention Go Ahead Eagles insane season in there?
They were top early days too
Hi mate, is it possible to play fm24 without getting into the under the hood, nuts and bolts, like player contracts etc? I just like to pick the players and tactics, and just play
Yep, assign everything to your assistant and your good to go
Try the touch or console version
@@StingerNeilD cheers mate
Amazing tactic and result , you should try it at Man City that will be fantastic
I'll check it out!
ok and what is your conclusion after all the unrealistic tactics?
That it's a game and you can treat it as such
My new daily dose of comedy 🤣
Didn’t fancy doing this with Roma?
What’s your second channel please
Go to my home page and scroll to the bottom it's there to click on
Scott Hall 🙌🏼
Why no Raumdeuter used on the Wings? For me this is the most typical romaing role
Didn't even think of it, head was a blaze with all the other combos
@@StingerNeilD Was surprised how well the tactic worked. May try to adapt it by putting the defenders and maybe one of the DMs on more conservative roles
@@Martian_Fox My thoughts exactly. I used the Arteta tactic ive just done on the 2nd channel as a template and ramped up the expressive players. Was great to watch.
Why not go double raumdeuter on the wings? It's in the blumming name.
I decided to use a treq. If I did it again I probably would 🤷
And here's me trying to create a balanced tactic that makes sense and wondering why it never works
😂😂😂🤷
finally some arteta memes 😂😂
Who did say his name
Great set-up everyone is getting on the score sheet Won 6 in a row with Rangers, thank you Stinger
You're using it already?! Nice
@@StingerNeilD I am plays great football and defends well too will use this for the rest of the season who would believe it that it works so well you have it the 🎯 with this.
Can’t believe you didn’t use a Raumdeuter
Me neither
How is it, you create these crazy tactics and they seem to work better than my serious tactics?
Ajax helps
@@StingerNeilD good point, I always pick a challenging side then expect to win the league
That's how Inter play in real life 🙂
What football manager is that
24
Just to let you know ( cos I'm good like that) I'm currently playing as Marseille using your 4-3-3 with 2 false nines n I'm having a blast
Love to hear it. Double F9 is lovely
@@StingerNeilD it is that pal
Wonder if it will work in my Wrexham
Save😂😂
You could put half back, it would be safer 🤷🏻
jesus cool it with the reaction gifs could barely make it 2 minutes in
You're the only person that's bitched
@StingerNeilD first time watching your channel, I do think its a little excessive
@@DrLithium203 it has been toned down for future vids. Only used them for the unserious type of vid also. appreciate the feedback
triple Libero
We've done that
try it with a small team
Would be a great biesla tactic
True, with a bit of tweaking its basically his vibe
At 6.32 it’s already 4-2 to you lol that’s a goal a minute
Lowkey looks like arsenal irl
Pretty close
Arsenal are extremely structured tho
Should have picked Roma
Inverted wing back has roam are you sure you’ve played this game before pal
Never pal
Seems like manchester united
Yep, they watched this video and said "this is it, this is our tactic this season" lol
Wouldn’t work with Ajax in real life. They have some of the laziest players out there. Especially Bergwijn and Berghuis.
Good video but you really need to ease up on the react clips. Absolutely ridiculous.
Thanks for the feedback
Cheap version of relationist football 😂
While a good video,
I feel like all this does is show how fucking inconsistent this game is, how's that tactic not conceding goals 😂
Yup 😂
League winners?! Madness. Lots to learn from this I guess?
surprisingly good
Sutalo has PPM to stay back perhaps?
