Will experienced a lapse in judgement when he showed his natural azz at the Oscars. At the time I chalked it up to him being triggered and he had a temporary psychotic break. It was just unfortunate that the entire world had to see it when most times -- we as human beings -- do our dirt behind closed doors. It didn't impact my day-to-day so I kept it moving. More important and critical events happening to focus on.
That being said, I love the "Bad Boys" movies and some of my all-time favorite flicks are ones starring Will. What cannot be denied is his international star power.

Dude, among the most heinous things fans and people have forgiven celebs for, what Will Smith did is arguably the LEAST egregious. Was it stupid? Yes. But Gtfo, Mel Gibson has managed to get work after being a proven racist among other things. Guys like Roman Polanski and Weinstein got standing ovations despite them being known sexual offenders, and in Polanski’s case, against a minor. Not saying it’s right, but slapping someone? THAT’S where you Pearl clutch?
I still have zero desire to see this film and I couldn’t care less about the slap it’s just I’ll watch the original if I want to see these two actors in their prime🤷🏽♂️. I just have no desire to watch these rinse and repeat ass films, I’m more likely to give something totally new a chance rather than the fourth installment of a film I had enough 20+ years ago.
