Picked up the game again to try and plat it. I’m so happy to have a reason to play it again. Between the OG version and DC I probably have close to 500 hours again. Crazy to think about.

This is the first I have learned about the λ missions. Once I have obtained the platinum on the PS 4 version I plan to obtain the platinum on the PS 5 version. . . I really enjoy the game.

Thanks for the tips. The huge BT at the abandoned factory takes about four hermetic grenades to defeat it. It'll drop a boatload of chiral crystals.

Do we have to do this missions ina specific sequence? To unlock n° 2, we must complete n° 1, or can we do in any sequence?
Yes, you need to do the missions in the sequence the emails arrive, and they require finishing the previous cube mission as well as some story missions.

hey man. great guide. i need help though. im stuck on the 5th cube. im at the ruin but i dont see the cube. what am i doing wrong?
You're probably not doing anything wrong but this missions are sort of buggy. You can try resting for a few times in the closest distro center to see if the cube respawns.

I have played 350+ hours and completely forgot about these half life missions, I have got up until the 3rd one which is behind the craftsman in the ruined factory. I have set up zip line networks in the past right here, and I have no idea where the companion cube is, I'm not sure whether 100s of hours ago I lost it or destroyed it, but I can't find it where it should be :( will I have to restart my playthrough
You can pass the time at the distro center where you are supposed to pick up the email to see if that makes it respawn, if it doesn't work and you have a save after completing cube #2 you can go back to try that as well. Sadly the way they work is very random.
Any way to get the first cube to spawn? I tried deleting the structures in the area sleeping checking mule camps and its not there even in the private locker
You can try re-reading the email for the specific quest or resting at the distro center where you got it to see if it respawns, though the missions are buggy even to this day. You can also try going back to a previous save if you have not made much progress.
What exo skeleton are you using at the beginning? Looks unique.
It's the Support Skeleton, a new one from the Director's Cut. A more balanced option besides power, speed and all-terrain.
A little late but I’m struggling. I need the truck for the platinum trophy but the cube just won’t spawn. I’ve tried resting in the private room a bunch of times in different regions, I have the email for it, I’ve reloaded older save files (email is from 10/19 and I can load back to 10/27), I’ve rested and travelled around in those save files as well. I just don’t know what to do anymore. Do you have any ideas?
Checking around in reddit found someone who solved it by resting 13 times in the same distro center then teleporting to the location with the cube. Every time you rest 30min pass in game time, so that likely helps resetting the cube: www.reddit.com/r/DeathStranding/comments/ud0ezp/third_companion_cube_not_spawning/
Someone else tried and didn't have the same luck with that method but worth a try.

@@ILLLIKECASTLe I was really lucky, and found it in a online private room, I must have placed it in there and completely forgot about it. It can also be in mule postboxes, I had someone from Reddit run tests from me and it doesn't appear that it can de spawn, so it should be somewhere, it might just take a long while to find it :/
PS5 player here, I have all the emails up to Thomas but cannot find the second and third cubes and it’s the only thing in the way of me and the platinum 😡
Is it possible to get them after completing a story? I totally forgot about it and it seems I can't spawn the 2nd email no matter how long i sleep
I got them after the story but sometimes they get bugged and they never patched that. If you have a save after finishing the first cube you can try going back to that, complete it and see if the second email spawns; or try completing side orders from the corresponding distro center.

Can someone tell me why there is no email about the gravity gloves quest? Obviously, there is no cube at the mule camp. I completed the delivery 27 and opened the meteostation. Should I progress further on the main story? Thank you
You can try resting at the distro center south of lake knot or a timefall shelter to advance the time or doing more deliveries until the email is triggered. If you are past chapter 3 advancing the time should help.

Edit: Nevermind, you just have to rest in the private room after completing Order 11.
Yeah, going to a private room after finishing the required missions triggers the email for the companion cubes.

Hi, im play on ps5, i receive all messages but in this point (first cube) i got nothing. I walked around but not find cargo. What i do wrong?
Hi. Probably nothing wrong, these missions are glitchy and were never patched. You can try passing the time in the distro center that triggered the message to see if that redeploys the cube. Also try checking the posts or private locker as they can appear there as lost cargo.

It was an issue on the PC version that seem to persist on this one, you can try resting in the distro center close to the cargo to see if that helps or if you haven't done any other missions you could try reloading a previous save.
how do I get the gold morza gloves and the silver ones ?
They are part of the PS5 Deluxe edition, if you have that version once you unlock the normal power gloves you'll get the option to craft the gold/silver variants too.

Any idea how to get the third cube if I picked it up once and then lost it?
If you haven't progressed that much after you lost it, you can try reloading a previous save or fast traveling to another region then come back, even try resting at a distro center to see if it respawn. I've also checked some forums and people report cubes respawn after a few real time hours.

So i cant get the first email unless i restart the game? orders under 100 dont spawn for me so the email never comes
If you already did those missions you should get the email no need to repeat them again, try resting at the distro center West of Capitol Knot city to see if that triggers it.

So I beat the game already and I’m trying to go for the plat, I’ve done the first two cubes but I’m not getting the third email, I’ve rested in the distro south of lake knot like 10 times and it hasn’t showed up, can someone help?
Have you also advanced the story? You need to reach certain chapters for the cubes to appear, you could also try increasing the connection with the distro center if its not 5 stars.

The first cube isnt where it is supposed to be. Does anyone know why. I have the email.
They can bug sometimes, you can try resting at a facility to see if it helps make it respawn, or if you haven't made too much progress you can try loading a previous save.
(Side note on my experience and anothers, the first mission could get bugged when you leave the first area and womt ever show up)
Any idea on how one could fix it so it isn't bugged if you leave the eastern region?

I get e-mail do their missions until I already did the mission that reward me the half-life truck. NPC also sent mail to thank me for that. After that no more e-mail from half-life mission for me, even after I finished the story.
Have you tried resting in the distro center where you get the email? You could also try doing a couple side missions and resting in between them to see if it eventually triggers. Another option if you haven't made much progress would be reloading a previous save.

i did all missions until the 4th one. im not reciving any email from thomas southerland, i really want to get the headcrab cap. can anyone help me?
you can try reloading a previous save if you haven't made much progress after that or fast traveling to another region then come back, resting at different distro centers to see if it triggers the email. Also a few of them require advancing the main story.

You can try passing the time by resting at the distro center several times and see if the cube reappears also check the surroundings as it can move or sometimes they can be found in item posts, they get very glitchy as well. Also make sure to advance the story so they can appear.

Im sadly not getting the email for cube 5 kinda annoying that i cant finish everything.
Have you finished the main orders? Some emails are tied to story progression. Besides that, you can try resting at cargo centers to see if the email pops up, I've seen some comments of people resting more than 13 times in distro centers to pass time (1 rest = around 30min in-game). It's annoying they never patched this but hopefully you can get it.

Why you didn't use a vehicle?
I prefer using the skeletons when moving around, only use vehicles for multiple orders and moving materials for upgrading
Couldn't find the first one cus some jackass put a bridge on top of the spawn, so it didn't spawn in. Looked for like 10 minutes.

Did you get the emails for the last cube? You can try resting at a closer facility to see if it helps, or you can try loading a previous save and retry from the previous Cube.

@@AjShadow_YT Happy to help! The fabricator for the racetrack is behind the timefall farm, south of the central region. After chapter 3 and order 35 you should get an email from Thomas Sutherland about the racetrack.

What is the point of completing these missions?
Only the new gear and cosmetic items, the gravity gloves are great. They are nice to have but not essential to the game.
I'm only after the one trophy to fabricate all the weapon. I don't like that they added more to the directors cut by completing these stuoid orders. I've finished the game completely and I've seen that i for the half life emails. I must have collected the first one as there's an email confirming this. The 2nd one i have the email for the order but no email to confirm completion. However the cargo is not there next to peter egbert. I've rested and come back, also closed the game and restarted ,still not there. What a joke. I've invested nearly 100 hours in this game aiming to get the plat. I regret getting the directors cut as i would have the plat now. Gutted
If you don't have email for next cube or order for Cyberpunk missions it really works if you go to your room. I was wandering for hours doing other stuff and still no email and then I randomly went into my room and both emails from Half Life and Cyberpunk were available. Btw thanks for both guides ❤

@@featherdabirb I did it like month ago so I think it is there forever. I played the director's cut version. Maybe it is triggered after some main order. Are you in the central region where mountain knot city is etc.?

@@featherdabirb the first one appears after completing Order 11, each one is tied to reaching a specific order. They tend to glitch too often though and you may also need to rest at specific distro centers several times for the email to arrive. The missions are exclusive to the Director's cut on PS5 and the PC version.

Sadly some of the cubes can get bugged, and they require you to rest at a distro center a few times. You also need to make some progress in the story if you haven't finished it, for this one you need to finish Order 38. Besides, you can try reloading a recent save if you haven't had much progress since the previous cube.
