I think the story goes the lead singer (Stefan) was hanging out with his girlfriend and her cousin. The cousin got stung by a bee and had a serious allergic reaction and was freaking the hell out. He went to the hospital and ended up being perfectly fine. They all thought it was funny to watch him freak out, and it reminded Stefan of all the times he’d freak out over something and think he was dying and the world was ending and no one would take him seriously, and after all is over he’s totally fine. So it’s kind of a goofy song about being a hypochondriac and how serious it feels at the time. Also: you guys should check out Dark Days by PUP. Probably my favorite song and music video by them. Either that or Factories, but Factories doesn’t have a MV
