Not a mess! Beautiful! Thank you again! Never thought of using my coffee grinder in that way! I struggle with Mexican food. My husband loves it but I’m not the best at it. I hope you and yours are staying healthy!

Thank you my friend we're all in good health here. Mexican food is tricky mostly because there are so many steps of flavor but oh the reward. I'll be doing more in the near future

Oh, there's nothing like homemade Chili sauce.
Here is part 1 of 2 where I made tamales. You can use this chili sauce for 100 different things if that helps until I get the video made.

great stuff! I'm actually searching the web if it's possible to ruin the heat of a chili powder. I got some very hot blend from a online store, tasted some small flakes raw and they were very hot, but used some to do spaghetti, and it tasted very bland. I made a classic italian recipe called "aglio e olio", which is basically a lot of garlic in some oil with hot peppers. It's either the powder I got is flawed, is meant to me Carolina reaper powder, or I killed it by cooking in hot oil, but I actually never had problems with other chilies.

I'm looking for a more traditional chili powder that does not have any heat because I may made Mexican chili powder with heat but I'm trying to look for a plain chili powder.... Is there such a chilly with no heat?

You'll be good with the MILD chili pods. Especially if you're making it, start off small, after it's blended give a tiny taste and add more as you like.
The dry pods WITHOUT the seeds or the white vein inside (where the heat is) are more flavorful than hot. Have fun with it, make it your own. But write it down so you don't forget lol

      You mean like chili peppers?
Guajillo and new Mexico those are base for almost all Mexican sauces.
Mild New Mexico chili's are mild but give great flavor. For heat I use Guajillo and/or Chipotle, ancho, or pasilla but really, any combination will do
      I hope that helps.

I wonder if that would work using my bullet? I don't have a coffee grinder is why I ask.

Yes it would work. Anything that will give you powder will work.
