When the cop comes out with it, seriously, one of the most impactful moments in any song ever composed at any point in human history
too true 🤣🤣🤣
Especially near the end of the song.
Absolute chills every time!
He slid his goodbyes
I’m crying right now
I've seen this movie exactly once over ten years ago and "bum bitty bitty bitty bum bum" is still stuck in my head
Its been stuck in my head for litteral years
SAME HERE!!!

Right!

I love this. Davey understands and accepts that he did some horrible things to Whitey himself, so he isn't claiming the moral high ground. He's calling out everyone who treated Whitey bad, including himself.
The best part is he didn't call anyone out specifically
And that guy with the hook
He's pointing out that everyone is horrible to him, knowing he was the worst of them all
Great job noticing the thing that the song itself pointed out.
What i love about this is how Davey doesn't open with condemning everyone else, he begins by asking them to reflect on their mistreatment of Whitey, like "we were all horrible to him, and i know because i was the worst of all"
Yeah! He understood he had no room to talk really when he was the worst of all of them. But as soon as he admitted what he did, the others realized just how heartless THEY all were and knew they had to do something. To show how much they appreciate everything he's done for them. Sometimes, it takes a horrible and tragic event to realize just how wrong you are/were about something!
In a roundabout way, He called everybody Sinners.
I know it's supposed to be funny and obnoxious but that's some damn good harmony
Doughnut Guy Adam Sandler's singing voice surprised me
Doughnut Guy I know right
Good times with this movie. I remember renting from blockbusters the Christmas it came out :)
Sandler can never help himself when he can make a chance to sing in his movies xD that's why I love his stuff! Along with his weird humor
Yes,absolutely 😃
2:51 I like to think that this guy just arrived and has no idea wtf is going on so he just does that.

I remember as a kid I was OBSESSED with this movie. I loved it so much. Haven’t thought about it YEARS. Just 10 min ago I was singing “bum bidi bidi bum bum” and couldn’t figure out where I remember that from. Here I am!
That's great 😂
One of the best Christmas movies
I love how everyone's favorite part of this scene is when the cop just randomly comes in and busts out his dance 😂
2:59 My last two brain cells during finals week.

Fr
"But the next time you'd see him he'd still go out of his way to smile and wave at you and ask you about your mother's operation or something like that because he, unlike us, actually cares about someone other than himseeeeeelf . . ."
The first time I heard that part I cracked up so hard. Lol.
The reason I bring this up to you,Is because I was the worst offender of all.
My life was simply going nowhere but tiny little man rushed to my side
He should've gotten a big thank you
But instead he got a porta potty ride
How did he do that without taking a breath
depressed thoughts I was such a sh*thead
But he never quit on me
Sandler's vocals range in this song are crazy he has a amazing singing voice
Fr when the song started I was very surprised
I can't believe I've never heard of this movie! I'm a huge fan of the Iron Giant, so the animation in this just captivates me. I love seeing stuff made for adults animated so well, it's always a treat.
I originally heard about this movie from some edits of the DVD cover, replacing the characters with other franchise's characters. I think it's very unique to see Adam Sandler animated in this style. Wish more movies were like this
@@sir_cabbage1170 Yeah, this has been a recent trend due to Oney Plays, I'm glad people are getting into the movie even if its just from some dumb meme.
Although to be fair, the Metal Gear Solid edit of the cover had me dying laughing when I saw it.
I thought the movie was terrible but I also have huge fondness for Iron Giant so my eyes were hypnotized the entire time
Say what it’s a good movie
The movie itself is terrible, but it’s something I recommend people to watch because of how confusingly good some parts of it are (like the animation and songs)
When I was a kid and I heard the "We should all rot in hell" part, I was like "Yes you should"
Hahaha
Right. Especially the woman who ‘asked’ him to prom
They all should
No you didn’t
@@PHATB0Y20 can you shut up stupid comments say what they want but im real life it keeps from running away like a damn lil girl, huh? Jesus have some backbone.
I love how they incorporate Tango, Yiddish-Jewish music into this song. So beautiful.
You have to admit. This is just so well done. The serious tone to the story and characters for the first few minutes was fun. Then absolute madness ensues with the Bum Biddy Biddy Biddy Bum Bum synched with the music. The shift of tone is so funny and very well done with the opera type song.
I know right!
I feel like this scene was decent and good! I saw the film last week. It not good but still, this scene was good.
The part where the cop comes in like "bum biddy biddy biddy bum buuuum" kills me everytime!😂 2:50

“I wonder if that guy wiped his ass with the wrong haaaand!” “Yes” I laughed my butt off for that part
My favorite part 😂😂
Eight crazy night. 😂
I was so moved by this movie, I watched it 3 times in one day. I truly love a good redemption story and one where it builds. It’s a short movie but manages to convey what orphans go through after losing their parents and drop off the map even in their hometowns. It makes you realize that you don’t even really like Davey but you want the best for him because he is a PERSON. Then he redeemed himself by not making the situation about himself but about a best friend who he himself wronged and then calling his community out for not showing this sweet man the validation he deserves. Truly a masterpiece in its own right. I don’t understand those who think this is a bad movie and it makes me respect Adam Sandler for trying to make the public understand that selflessness is truly what can make you happy above all else.
Finally! A comment that isn't just "lol funny" and actually talks about the underlying emotions. Yeah this is funny, but also sad as well. I spent my childhood in foster care, and while my parents were alive, I could relate to the trauma of loss
Even his dumb films can have depth
I think its the immature humor that takes away from it. Not saying I dislike this movie, far from it, but the humor has a tendency to take away from the scene at times. The writing was much better than I remember, but I never paid all that much attention to it before. I was a kid at the time
Good theme for a story ruined by immature jokes.
I watched it eight times within the last 2 weeks of. December 2023

Omg yesss

The moral of the song, don't take old people for granted.
i think it's more don't take the people willing to be nice to you no matter how you treat them for granted no matter how weird he was because no matter how badly they treated him he still was willing to be nice.
I think the moral is actually treat people the way you would like them to treat you.
The moral of the story is, if you have a hook hand, make sure to wipe with your other hand
That isn't the moral but ok
Don’t take anyone for granted, especially those that go out of their way to be there and do for others, without thinking of themselves
I understand Adam Sandler has a certain humor that’s not liked because it’s immature and maybe the same all the time, but he’s still really funny!
Yes Adam Sandler is really funny 😆 I love him
No Adam Sandler is very funny. Waterboy should tell you that and Happy Gilmore. Its that people don't understand his jokes and becomes easily offended because of it
RontheGoat I’ve never heard of anyone getting offended over an Adam Sandler joke 😂
@@aidaans9615 Actually alot of people have. Just like people were offended for Eddie Murphy's jokes and Dave Chapelle. Even though Adam Sandler isn't really a comedian, he's an actor. He still is very talented.
RontheGoat Fair enough, I’ve just never heard of anyone being offended by him nor can I imagine it. His comedy is quiet tame compared to someone like Eddie Murphy (old Eddie Murphy anyway)
For those of you who don't know, Jennifer's beautiful singing voice is voiced by the wonderful, and beautiful country voice of Alison Krauss.
I knew that voice sounded familiar.

It's what he's known for besides acting. ☺
Nicholas Gieschen I know right
Hednna Bastian it might be a horrible movie but it has great animation ☺
Well, he was Opera Man before he started making weak, annoying comedy movies.
8 Crazy Nights is an uneven movie. There's some cringe in it, some shit really falls flat or feels forced, but there's some stuff that feels distinct, funny and well done. As movies go it's in the middle, as Happy Madison movies go, it's at the top.
The animation is strong. A lot of the people who worked on it were let go after The Iron Giant tanked. The Iron Giant was a critical success and it's charming as all get-out (90%/96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 8 stars on IMDB) , but Warner Brothers Feature Animation lost about 35 million dollars on the domestic tickets and just barely broke even in worldwide sales.
It's auto tune.
There’s a positive message for this movie - second chances and never ignore and criticizing the elderly and always lend a hand to those who need it
Even the worst people deserve a second chance.
Jon Lovitz strikes again!
(from The Wedding Singer: "He's losing his MIND.... and I'M reaping all the benefits.....")
But the message was shadowed by the terrible jokes and not good voice actor of the character of the elder character
Also bum biddy biddy biddy bum bum

This song shows everyone's regret for mistreating a very gentle person, but they can redeem him. The voice that sounds at 2:28 is very beautiful

My Area 51 alien learning to dance
When the Area 51 guards, hear the ominous sound of 2 million people singing Bum Biddy. Lmao
I’m telling y’all. The first time I ever saw this, when that first “bum biddy” hit, it sent me to the floor laughing
This is so typical. There was a lady in a complex I used to live in. I never grasped why others made fun of her. She always had treats for the kids. Took people to the store. Even ran errands for them. She'd come over to my place and ask if I needed help preparing meals for my kids and the other kids that stopped by throughout the day. When she fell and got hurt people acted like I was a freak for cooking and cleaning for her. It was weird. I watched this for the first time a few years ago and was like I bet that's how Mrs. Yetta felt. And called her to see how she was after not thinking of her for 9 and a half years. I felt like garbage.

I honestly will never understand why people say this is one of the worst movies ever made. Sure Davey is a jackass but he defiantly redeems himself here
This is definitely not one of the worst movies of all time. That title would probably go to a movie like Super Mario Bros or Avatar The Last Airbender live action movie not cartoon.
And honestly, I understand WHY he was such a jackass.

It's the same people who made iron giant
In style of Walt Disney meets Warner Bros meets The Iron Giant

Fun fact I never realized, Adam Sandler for all the crappy movies he's in is actually an amazing actor.
Like watch uncut gems, he himself has even admitted he will sometimes do random roles in stupid movies just either a for a paycheck or B just to go on vacation.
He's also a multitalented able to actually sing and play guitar and is also probably one of the most wholesome guys in all of Hollywood.
It's hard to believe considering this is the same dude who starred in Jack and Jill
I personally believe the theory that jack and Jill was only made to be made as fast as possible to make some money and give some time to Katie holmes so she could divorce Tom cruise since she was not in a good situation there and the church of Scientology coulda easily made her life hell
