If you do the blackened seasoning as is written, then add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, you get a thick paste. I had to add alot more oil to liquify it. On my Salmon, I use Mrs Dash Fiesta Lime and Southwest Chipotle on olive oil brushed filets and It's easy and delicious. I make in pan stovetop. Also, I used parsley on potatoes instead of oregano.

Everything is amazing. Just a suggestion - The smoking point of Olive oil is 350F beyond which it's molecular structure becomes unstable and rancid. Avocado oil is better choice for high heat cooking/baking.

That is the reason why heating points are mentioned on most oil bottles. Olive oil smoke point is 350F. I intended to convey the negative effects.

Excellent Dish for the Heavy Cream just like a Cheat Night for A Carbonara Sauce never any heavy cream to fattening and doesn't it. Easy alternatives to leaving out the Heavy Cream one would be grated Parmigiano or Pecorino which is actually healty and wight loss friendly. Great Dish you made here a gem.

Frozen salmon can be used for this recipe but make sure to thaw the salmon completely before seasoning to prevent the salmon from coming apart. Let me know if you have anymore questions! Happy birthday to your daughter! 😊
It is called blackened seasoning. You can buy from the store. I used my homemade blend of the seasoning. The recipe for the blackened seasoning: 2 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp brown sugar 2 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper I like to blend these and keep in my pantry so I can use this whenever I make this dish. This salmon dish requires only 1 tbsp of the seasoning blend. Hope this helps!
