I just recently sold my a7iii, and i'm thinking about switching to leica. It's daunting to think about moving into a very different system and workflow, for so much more money. Maybe now it's not the time, but the day will come. Loved your channel and your work btw, keep creating!
Hey thank you for the encouragement!! Means a lot :) Do you tend to switch to the Leica SL System? Or Leica M System? Personally I use my M10 or (by now) Q3 for Everyday Work. My Main Cameras for actual Client Work are two Canon R6 and a few RF Lenses. I just love the speed and reliability of the Autofocus of these Canons so much! And I love the files as well. :))
Good points. I have a Leica M246 that I use a lot with an old Jupiter 8 50mm 2 lens. The results are variable, to say the least, but it is a fun setup to use and when things work, I love the result.
A friend of mine has your Leica as well. Looove the shutter sound on that model! haha Your 50mm sounds interesting. :)) Do you have an Insta where I can see some of your photos?
I still shoot with my Nikon D600 with Nikon 50mm 1.2 AI-s lens all in manual mode. I have questioned my needs v wants as a photographer and I have discovered that it is the process of taking the photo that connects me with my camera and lens. I have weighed the pros and cons of investing in a Leica M10; logic and wife says no, but my heart smiles and says at 65 its the last camera you need to have. You need to exit with style!
I can imagine that your D600 with the 50 1.2 deliveres an amazing result!! Maybe there is a M10 available for rent in your region. This way you could try it for a weekend. As you say, it's really nice to take your time for a foto. Even if my M10 is in Auto exposure and ISO most of the time, the manual focus keeps me from being to quick all the time and enjoy the process more. :)
Nice video! I'm using M10-D with a 50mm and a Fujifilm X-Pro3 myself. I pretty much started (like you) with Nikon etc. And like you I also gradually switching into a more "soulful" gears. What lens are you using on that M10? If I have to guess it's a 35mm Voigtlander F/1.4?
Uhh! Love the M10-D. It's so nice, that it makes you stay in the moment because you can't dive into your files and review them. It's exiting to get home and look what you created on the PC! And the Fuji is a beast as well. Had the X-E3 for a while. Great little thing. Yep! It's the Voigtlander 35 1.4 I'm curious to see some of your pics. Do you have them online somewhere?
Nice resume, I'm thinking to change to a leica to for a every day camera. Your friend from portugal want to sell the M10d :) Was a joke, but if you know anyone selling the m10d let me know, thanks for all. Hugs dude
Hey Jose! Sry for the late reply! I'll reach out to you if I hear someone selling their M10D :) It certainly makes a nice every day carry. I thought about having a Q2 as well...I do like taking a good Video here and there...the Q2 delivers on that. But we'll see. :))

Photo samples are good
Thanks man! I’ll have many more examples with the M10 and the Voigtlander where I’ll specifically talk about the camera and the lens. 🥰🙏🏻
