    I bought one in Aug 2018. This is our 3rd season with it. These are awesome for the price. They are more like 500, 600 now. Dont get caught up in all the pool maintenance bs. A floating device that can handle 1" chlorine tables will be all you need to maintain it. Rules= wear the same swim trunks/bathing suits in everytime. Wash your pool wear in water only. Keep your filters clean ( after ever use) Dont use powder chlorine. Its not user friendly or pump friendly. Inflate it till its firm to push. In the Midwest, May 15 to Sept 30. Take it down, clean it. Store the pump indoors during the winter. We love ours and hope you enjoy yours too.

    Inflatable hot tubs are much better than they should be for the money. We got two years of good service out of ours and threw it away when we bought a fiberglass tub. We had far less trouble from the inflatable.

    This is my second Hot Tub. Love it. I left my first one with my house
    When I sold it. So I have been looking forward to installing this one.
    Very easy to put together. My only problem now, before I put water into it, is where to place it.

      I noticed that you reply to so many comments on this and was wondering if I could pester you for advice. My boyfriends saluspa had been losing heat for a while so I retrieved the lid an together we cleaned, inflated and replaced the lid which seemed to solve the heat issue. But it needed the water changed and the whole thing had gotten cloudy so we changed the water and cleaned the tub. After refill, the filter refused to work. It kicked on for a moment then displayed error 3. He did some reading and decided to clean some part of it w white vinegar. Afterwards it displayed error 04. Overheating. It's definitely not overheated. Do we need to just buy a new heating element or can it be salvaged? Thanks in advance.

      Try putting the water through the unit from the chlorine exit port with the unit off. It flush's the air bubbles out of the unit. The AIR Bubble's will come out the filters. Reset the breaker on the 110V plug, Let me know how it goes!

    CAUTION FOR COLD WEATHER USE...the tub works great for soaking, but the "jets" draw in ambient air from outside the tub and pumps it into the tub as shown. If the outside air is cold the water temperature will drop VERY fast. That aside, we're in Colorado and have had no problem with the tub in sub 40 degree weather. Fantastic winter soaker, should be a great summer jet tub as well.

      Do you keep it covered by a Gazebo or anything to keep the snow from being directly on it? I live in Ohio and would love to keep it open during the winter months as well.

    • @jeffmorgan5152
      @jeffmorgan5152 3 роки тому +2

      @@shawnapruitt2482 It gets some shelter from a tree, but it's not protected. The heat that it radiates keeps is accessible. If we get hit hard the snow will initially accumulate on the top. That just adds to the insulation. (On that note, I did take someones suggestion and added a layer of bubble wrap in the pocket of the lid. The extra dead air seems to help it retain heat a bit year round.)

Yuk Now all we’ve used is peroxide It’s wonderfully clean clear and smells great We have hard water, but we rub it down with a crocheted scrubby and it’s plugged the filter once with the calcium but I’m only on second filter in a month We also ditched the pleated filters for the blue kind that kind of look like a pool noodle. Extremely low maint and healthier than chemicals

    Very nice video. The one thing that strayed from the video produced by the manufacturer is that the lid in inserted into the cover before inflating. I followed your instructions and found it more cumbersome. I have a newer model and the o-ring comes one the connection piece. No need to insert it. Also, mine only had one filter.

      @@MrKormend you can place insulated mats underneath to help against the cold coming up from the cement and add annadditional insulation layer to the lid. And some folks even build a skirt to enclose the entire units perimeter and insulate that as well. Just takes some ingenuity. Hope that gives you some more ideas.

    We are both 66+ yrs old with previous back surgeries. getting down into and then back up afterward is very difficult for us. I'm thinking of getting one to enjoy our golden years, BUT I am curious about your thoughts of getting a small pool ladder for easier access. Certainly would want to put it on a platform with 3M insulation board under the spa.
