Direct injection is expensive. just to upgrade fuel the Lt4 fuel pump is $1200. and if you dont know how to time and shim it you could with one rotation of the cam destroy it. fuel system upgrade total is about 2300.00. before that they wont go past 500WHP. after they can handle safely 650WHP anything higher your looking for trouble. If you go gen 6 lt1 just bite the bullet buy pistons and rods lt4 fuel pump and lt4 injectors. then your safeish around 1000hp. any higher well thats a whole world of hurt.

I just kaboomed a crankshaft counter weight out of the bottom of the block on my SUPERCHARGED 3.5L Isuzu V6 on my Trooper... Looking up 5.3s on ebay and thinking about adding those two extra cylinders...
My one and only problem with LS swaps is that it's done all the time. Like it seems that LS i is the answer to nearly everyone's engine related question, especially what to put into a car. Great motor, no doubt, and I'm not one to get all mad at someone for being "sacrilegious", but it is a little overplayed in my opinion. I'd still probably LS swap a car tho
Speaking about sacrilege. I want to swap an LS7 into my AP2 S2000. Should I just buy a C6 Z06? I don’t have the convertible with the Z06. And it is just a Z06. People love the S2000, it would be built not bought. It’s awesome on certain nights to cruise with the top down and a guest in the passenger seat. It would be like a modern Shelby Cobra. The interior is way better than a Z06. It doesn’t have the rubber on a Z06, it may cost more. It doesn’t have the transaxle which balances weight distribution better. A Z06 may be more reliable. It’s safer, with the hard top. And more trackable. It’s modifying something people consider to be historic, over owning something that people aren’t that impressed with (a corvette).
Technically a have a de-LS swapped car since my C5 has an LQ9 in it. I think the previous owner was going for a big power build, and never quite got around to the major power adders. Unfortunately forced induction is $$$$ for these things.
About to finish swapping an LS1/T56 into my 280z.. I know some people will prob hate on the motor choice but I'm going carb'd to try and be somewhat original. I can't think of any other big cam LS1 swapped datsun's out there that are carb'd and I'm gonna do the basic classic japanese look on it with the fender flares and mirrors so it'll be pretty sick.

Can you do “so you want to VQ swap” I’ve been looking into swapping a VQ37 into my N/A 300zx and I’d like to see what u guys have to say about It. At first I was going to do an LS swap but I decided I wanna do something different from everyone else.
Hr’s do well boosted
I just got a 93 NA 300zx deciding to LS swap it or something else, idk I love me the sound of a nasty cammed LS tho
blakeibibler enjoy it for what it is for now😂 because maybe in the future you can swap in sum crazy
Leo Ginto that’s the plan 👍🏼
His intros with the beat slowly creeping up gives me goosebumps
I have a 73 4 door sedan caprice classic what ls would anyone recommend? 🤔
The thing I’m confused about is the cost to swap. I hear people say anywhere from 5k to 20k
Alright I'm sold, gonna LS3 swap my 09 Scion tC 😂💀
The iron block variants are still lighter than a SBC, and they can be rebuilt where the aluminum ones really can’t be ( the iron sleeves can be overbored but only by .010”, otherwise they have to be replaced)
I just kaboomed a crankshaft counter weight out of the bottom of the block on my SUPERCHARGED 3.5L Isuzu V6 on my Trooper... Looking up 5.3s on ebay and thinking about adding those two extra cylinders...
Was actually thinking of ls4 swapping my vw golf mk4. From a 1.6.
First LS4 mention I've seen... Wanna LS4 and AWD my 2010 Cruze from a 1.8... Just coz... Sleepy, hehe...
@@natedawg6207 NGL it sounds great but it's hard to get these stuff from my country.
I am over 40 and I want to RB swap my 370. But Yeah LS or Terminator swap the rest. Roots blowers sound the best on ether unit.
Technically a have a de-LS swapped car since my C5 has an LQ9 in it. I think the previous owner was going for a big power build, and never quite got around to the major power adders. Unfortunately forced induction is $$$$ for these things.
I want to ls7 swap my trans am. Or just buy a firehawk engine. Why not ya know?
What is the best LS engine for 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan? And do they have a 4 cylinder LS? Also is there a turbo diesel version of this?
Where do i go for engine/trans mounts for an LS2 going into a 1967 Deville?
I’m working on a ls3 swap rn with my omega getting rid of the 350
I swear i'll start researching topics on UA-cam then you guys drop a video about what i'm looking for within the same week.
Gonna drop an LS into my Forte now.
