Surprisingly awesome dirt tones coming from it, actually I guess I forgot it is a mini humbucker so why I was surprised is a mystery..... Another great demo Landon! I really want a guitar from vola now.
Thanks for reviewing this one! There is a dealer in Brevard, NC called Area 22 that carries them, but there's a markup. Would love to support local, but it just makes more sense to buy direct from Vola at those prices!
Just bought one of these off reverb a few days ago, saw you didn't have a vid about it on your channel and got a little scared, this confirmed that I'm gonna love this guitar!
@@landonbailey came in yesterday and i am legitimately speechless, i work in a music shop and it feels closest to an american ultra or made in japan custom tele… for less than half the price
Hi Landon, First of all, like you’re sarcasm and style of humor a lot, which differs your channel from the rest! You’ve been reviewing lots of guitars lately, great stuff. And I get the idea you have a weak spot for the telecaster. I’ve been on a journey for the “perfect guitar” and had all the big brands. Finally I bought a custom limited fender tele. I love it. But the one I love the most, is the t56 models from Kauffmann. They are all handmade in the Netherlands. And most of them are build with paulownia wood. Which makes the guitar weight only 2,5kg! Eventually I bought three of them. And wanted to share my love for this guitar. I’m convinced you will love them to. If you have the chance, give them a try! I have no relation or whatsoever with Kauffmann. Just an enthousiast amateur guitarist. All the best!
I really like the curved down lower horn. I always thought they would be very secure/comfortable guitars to play while sitting. Surprised more manufacturers havent adopted that on a model. Reminds me of a B.C. Rich Eagle, except T style👍
I was going to say I didn’t like the headstock. But then I remembered that the best bass I ever owned, the Pedulla Rapture I was forced to sell, had a headstock just like it. So now I realize I like their basses a whole lot.
Great. These Volas look very good. I've been aware of them since Shane featured them on his "intheblues" channel. However, this is the first time I've seen inside one,...sort of :-) Thanks for the great images showing the guitar off well. We didn't have Sears here. I would have devoured those catalogues.
Hey Brandon. You always make me crackup laughing. At first didn't like the sharp horn but as you progressed through the guitar i ended up loving as a whole. Great tones well executed. I think the sharpness is my favourite aspect now. Weird that. Great vid as per and look forward to seeing next one. BTW sweetwater don't ship to UK. I'm living in Dover in the county of Kent. White cliffs of Dover 24 miles from France. Send me the red one I'll bey it from you. It's not blue enough to fit in your life. Stay the same. Don't go changing. Lots of love in UK for you. ✌😎🎼🎸🎼.
Hey, he called you "Brandon", too! I've been thinking about this, Landon. Have you considered changing your name to "Bruce"? it would make it easier for us.
Yes, blame you guitar teacher, I blame mine too😂. Neat guitar. I want one. The Japanese make great stuff. When I was a child “made in Japan” was an insult. Of course they changed that perception 180 degrees by becoming great at making anything they choose to make. Our family cabin on the American River came from Sears. My grandma picked it out of the catalog. It was 3200 sq ft. Came in piles of wood on a rail car😂
Really great guitars...i have a Vola and its exceptional...and u cant beat the price...this model is listed on their website for 899.00!!!! For Japanese made guitar with top of the line build quality..u really cant beat it...
I used to have a 1960s Fender MIJ Reissue Strat in Purple 💜 with sparkling paint job and a pure rosewood fretboard sadly 😢 I had to sell it a few years ago due to loss of my job , I only got £350 for it 😢 same guitar now is worth 3 times that price.
VOlatile LAments, such as why did VOLA include a huge pickguard when there's no routs to hide and the finish underneath is gorgeous. I know it makes it more Tele-ish but I think they should toss it and go all the way uniquely Voila(-i).
Little known fact - Mr. T was actually short for Mr. Telecaster. Turns out he was crazy about his guitars. That’s why he hated flying, didn’t want to check his instruments. *I pity the fool who doesn’t use their volume control!*

Yeah, I've heard a ton of great things about Vola. In fact even Marty Schwartz had to get one. Plus Shane talks about his all the time on his channel too.
If all guitars were made in Japan, QC issues would be really hard to come by. I’ve had better luck with MIJ stuff over USA stuff personally.
I watched this channel for 3 months. I now own 45 guitars 18 amps 3 pedals and i still haven't learned how to play a single song😂
Nearly the same lol I own 5 guitars now 3 of em Teles and can't play to save my life ha ha Not for long tho ,my first lesson Fri
Bwahahahahaha! !!!!! I don't feel so bad now!!

I think they really nailed the body styles on the tele and strat. They look like they’re from the future or from a cartoon.
I really, really want one.
Yeah that sharper point on the cutaway looks great. Not too wild but just made the look more their own.

Nice styling and colour. Sounds good. Expensive in UK tho, so will have to stick with my old squeeze dark forest Japanese DKMGT. Tasty.
Door-hinge marshall🤣your sense of humour is great I can tell its not scripted either this shit just pops into your head as your going🤣👍
100% scripted
This Vola guitar looks like a B.C.Rich Mockingbird, a strat and a Telly had a thresome… Very sexy outcome!

Japan has some really interesting guitars. It's definitely a hot spot to go to if you are looking for something unique and not for the Top Brands.

I was thinking about a Japanese guitar and Vola! Here you are with a video. Unfortunately, not many lefty options.

when my dad was a kid, he said the junk came from Japan, so I've heard that before! :)
Haha the first 5 seconds are the best!
I have a Japanese FGN Illiad (Tele)...similarly priced, Seymour Duncans, CFS frets, binding, quality....
I have the same and it’s basically a Tele Ultra for $1000 less
Cool t-shirt and guitar 🎸

Henceforth, you should refer to your guitar teacher as your Sensei. Volas are nice
I know you probably get tired of people telling you what guitars to try, but heres another: a Fret-King Country Squire Semitone De Luxe

No offense, but I genuinely wonder how this is not an infomercial instead of a review? 🤷♂

Made in Japan is a mark of excellence. Very nice guitar!
shouldn't it be volaa?
I think All guitars should be headless would that also be topless🤔
What's the song between 3:45 and 4:20?
stock UA-cam music. this one is Rain Drops
Thx, nice video btw
Nice demonstration. Nice guitar but don’t care for the headstock.
I hate to complain but.... Firstly if "they all made guitars this way" there would only be one type of guitar in one colour (yes, COLOUR with a 'U') .

Silverchair!
$930? Classic vibe all the way

I noticed he deleted the infomercial comment, proving that it's true.
the 5 comments connected to the pinned comment? still there. don't make accusations
Wish it had 24 frets😔
Even this corky tele design won't put forearm cutaway... what a shame...

why is that?

US$899….Vola reduced prices when they changed to a direct sales model earlier this year. 😎
Fun fact, ai guitarists are still only as good on guitar as their creators. Unlucky.
for now!
